Here is my story...I first got pregnant in 2006 but wasn `t really planning for motherhood. But God had different plans for me. We got pregnant right away and I was just getting used to the idea of being a mother when I found out I was having twins on Mother `s Day!!! What a shock. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would have twins. Overall I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy (except for a ton of BHC and lots of U/S as they shared a placenta). In the end I was induced at 37 weeks and gave birth to identical girls. They did really well and we were all sent home after only 5 days in the hospital. They are now 16 months old.
And now.... I am pregnant again with twins!!!! What are the odds??? Seriously, I would like to know. We thought, oh, we could handle one more, but again God had different plans. Once again we got pregnant right away and I began to suspect very early on that there was two again (I could feel my uterus already at 8 weeks and oh I was starving again). Well here is to lots of prayer for another healthy pregnancy and to keeping my sanity (I will have 4 under 2).

12 w 5d today! I had my nuchal scan today and everything was fine! Their heart rates were both 157 and they were moving around a bunch. Hopefully everything continues to go well!Thursday, 20 Mar
So I had my first OB/GYN appt Monday and everything is fine. I will have an U/S in one month (and hopefully find out the sex), see my doc again, then follow up in one more month and then every two weeks to check for premature labour. That `s it!Comments on twinstwice`s Profile

I feel old at the moment!!! We couldn't afford to have any more babies, we would have to do what you said move to the country and grow veg and have chickens!
28th is my daughters b'day! we may even have them on the same day!
Wow you have lots of help! Tony will take 2 weeks off which he is entiled to not sure if you guys get it but it is paid leave not holiday (paternity leave) and then my mum will come over and help and so will Tony, i don't wantto many people around as i want to get the twins into a routine straight away!

Thanks, me too!! So far it's been a great pregnancy. I would have thought with 3 I would hanging over the potty 24/7....But I'm glad it's not the way that it turned out.

It must be in the air!!!! All of mine have been awful the last week or so! I had all of them( except the twins)in time out twice today, and it did not seem to help much.
We are leaving in the AM for a few days at the beach- should be interesting. We have only been to see friends and family not gone to a hotel and then on outings with just my DH and 5 kids. We will see how it goes!!!!!

Thank you. I've been going up to the hospital for a few hours. They keep him mostly asleep all the time. He was waking up a little bit today, and asking what happen. He wants the breathing tube out. They are talking about taking it out tomorrow morning. So hopefully he will be a little happier then. Doctor said he is a lot stronger than what he was yesterday, so as long as he keeps getting stronger things are looking better.

I'm glad your headache is gone. I had my BPP on friday but they didn't measure the boys so I have no idea how big they are now. Their next measurement won't be till 8/8 and my c-sec is on 8/11. For my sanity I hope I have them before. :)

Yeah, my 21 mo is going thru that "attached" phase! He does not let me out of his sight w/o making a fuss. My MIL had a hysterectomy 8 wks ago, so this last visit was more me taking care of her and everything else. She has milked this surgey for all its worth!LOL
Had my 24wk scan and these babies are measuring 1lb 12 oz ans 1 lb 8 oz. The doc seemed happy with their sizes- my last set was much smaller at this stage.
How are you feeling these days? Ready to be done yet? I am and I still have 13 weeks to go !!!

I have finally got my induction date 26th August, i hope they come that day as its my daughters b'day on the 28th! I had m consultant appointment today and all is well, he has booked me for another scan in 3 weeks and the its all systems go.... i am so excited i am going to meet the little monsters who have made mummy so poorly!!!
Is your MIL staying until the babies arrive? It must be hard for your girls they are going to be so excited when the babies arrive they will think christmas has come early 2 brand new babies to play with!!

Every night i go to bed thinking i wonder if tonights the night! sometimes i have woken to go to the loo and got back into and had a few niggles bu nope they are still cooking away!
I haven't got anymore scans now, i have a consultant appointment tomorow and am going to try and get a date for my induction! I don't know how i am going to cope for another 4 weeks i am very uncomfortable today its because its been really hot today!
I don't know how you do it and espically with 2 little toddlers... not long to go now!

I wonder tho if you did fall pregnant again if you would have twins again.... its even worth trying just to live like the waltons!!!
I had another scan today She is 4lb2 and he is 4lbs7 she is still head first and he nis extended breech looks very uncomfortable but he must be comforty!

We had a good night last night( My MIL and SIL finally went home) so I am hoping it continues!
Yeah, if only babies came with power switches so you could turn them off when it was time to sleep! How much did your girls weigh at birth? Both of the new twinsare around 4lbs , is that correct? That is great! My first twins were only 5lbs and 6lbs at birth, so looks like you'll have nice sized babies!
I have not had any colicky babies yet, and hope not to stat with these!I would be crazy for sure! My sister hasa 6 mo that has JUST gotten over his colic stage! He was horrible- he cried 18-20 hrs a day!!!!! They would have to give me meds so tha I could function I think!

I experienced headaches every morning for the past 2 weeks, just like you mention within an hour they would dissapear. I doubled up on my pillows to give my neck a different position and haven't gotten one since.

I pumped for a month, but with so many to look after, it was VERY hard and the stress caused me to not produce enough for both. Thank goodness they both loved the formula anyways!!!I think it was more filling and they slept great!!! I am praying for good sleepers again. I am going to attempt to nurse for as long as possible again, but we'll see! I wanted to rock mine and they would have none of it, which inthe end turned out to be a blessing.
So far tonight has been better for my youngest three going down, but we still have a while!!!!Praying for quick to sleep and sound sleep all night!!

I just don't want to come across a moaner but boy this pregnancy is putting a toll on my body! but it will be all worth it in the end!
I watched a programme today about an american lady who was on her 2nd set of quads!!! we think we have it bad poor poor lady!
Will you have any more babies after these ones? if you did i wonder if you would another set of twins? I was told that you can take insurance for concieving twins but you have to take the insurance out before you fall pregnant maybe if you were going too it may be worth taking it out!
I think i may have found a cure for heartburn i had fizzy water with my dinner tonight and so far so good.... mind you my dinner was tiny just can't seem to eat anymore don't havethe space!
Next summer will be great espically for you as well as your girls are gping to be such great big sisters!!!
Isn't it funny how we know how the babies are lying my little girl always has her bum sticking out my side!!
I have a scan tomorrow it will be intresting to see how big they have got! do you have anymore scans?
Make sure you get lots of rest as the baies are going to be here in less then 5 weeks OMG!!!

I have the bl**dy flu, when will i start to feel normal again, i am still being sick and generally feel like poo! I have started to get heartburn too... it will all be worth it in the end tho... just hate having no control of my body and permantely feeling and being sick!
I sound like a right moaner and i am so sorry!

I rather trade this belly in for no sleep right now. I have a scan on Fri. This morning I went to my doc I'm measuring 45cm. He says i'm big enough to be carrying around a 15lb baby. It sure feels that way. He says he's amazed how I can still get around with my size. I can feel their heads smooshed against my thighs and their butts holding up my boobs. Scary visual I know.

Went back to the doctor today. He said still dilated to 3, 0% effaced. Still on bedrest for another week and a half. After that, I'm good to go.

Thanks. My sister took this picture with her phone. I would have never even thought of taking a photo like this. Cody is a going to be a very proud big brother. He always has to kiss my belly before he leaves and tell the babies he loves them. He reminds me so much of his big brother when I was pregnant with him. Charlie did the same thing when I was pregnant with Cody. But now Charlie really doesn't care, he is 7 and just keeps to himself.
