Im getting pre-baby jitters! wondering if I will love them, if this was a good idea, if I have any clue what Im doing lol if I will ever regain my body back! ahh I kept saying I was ready --- I changed my mind, you go first lol

They've been checking my cervix for dilation and effacement by hand (manuallY fingers in the crotch lol). they measured the length of my cervix for a long time with ultrasound but now there really isn't any length left! -- yeah you guys do different stuff, I heard they dont test for Gestational Diabetes in the UK??

lol hunny we already know Im not going full term!!are you crazy? Ive already been dilating and effacing, If I carry full term it will be a miracle. maybe I should just pick a date in my head and pretend thats when they are coming lol otherwise I know its sometime between now and 5 weeks from now lol. I'm allowed off bedrest at 34wks...
thats only 17 days away :)

your killing me! way too excited about your sleeps :) I wish I knew how many sleeps I had left. They have officialy taken over my body. Im finally starting to get very uncomfortable but I'd never admit that to anyone lol go to the doctors on wed, and have a growth scan then too I hope they are getting chunky but honestly Im so petite I dont know how much more I can hold! Im ready :)

You know babe, my contractions didn't hurt at all and I thought they were just braxton hicks but when they hooked me up to the monitors it showed that I was have them to regular. So I would just call your doctor and try and see if you can do the non stress test so they can see how many your having. It says anymore then four in a hour even if it is braxton hicks you need to be seen. Atleast that is what my doc told me.

Oo no... they are defiently not mo/mo twins! They thought they might be in the beginning and sent me to a perintologist, and there is an extremly thin membrane between them, Thank God! And I get a US evey 2wks. so it's been confirmed many times over. lol.
Wow your soOOOooo close! GL wtih your section... is this your 1st one?? I'm terrified of getting a c-section!

hey I just had to go to the hosp on Wed. due to having some contractions. Now my doctor said that he would like to see me every week. He does do a lot of ultrasounds but he never really moitored me very close. But now I am glad he wants to see me every week for now on to make sure both babies are doing good. My owe pregnany I never had anything to worry about but now I am on bedrest. How are you feeling...

The sleep situation is some what better with the help of all the pillows. Thanks for the encouragement:)
I am starting to really feel the tiredness due to the lack of sleep. Every day that the twins stay in my belly is a blessing but man am I just ready for them to be here. My hubby is awesome. He is doing whatever he can to help . I have my scan next week on the 16th and immediately after we have a meeting with specialist so hopefully they give us a date for our c-section. I have to think its a c-section because since week 17 we have had placent previa (complete) for the one baby and so I dont think thats changed. I am so ok with a c-section. I never said I wanted to be a hero but just a mom:)
I am so glad you have your date set. I hope that our date is some time then too. I turn 30 on the 24th Feb the same day the twins are 38 weeks. That would be wierd if they are born then. Take care and its not long now:)

Wow! I'm so jealous you already have a date planned!! The doctor told me that they will probably give me a delivery date (either induction or c-section) on Thursday for 37.5 or 38 weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I am just about 36 weeks and my baby is still breech. The staff at the hospital said that a C-section was looking to be more in my favor because the baby is just about too big to turn on its own. I might talk to my doctor about an ECV to see if we can prevent me from having one. I don't think that he will oblige because I have been having heart issues so that makes me a high risk patient. Thank you for your advice. I will definitely ask the hospital staff not to let anyone see her until I have had the opportunity to feed and bond with her.

Wow I am so happy for you that you made it to 31 weeks...That seems to be my only worry. I really hope I make it full term which for twins is only 37 weeks.

I was reading your blog on the C-section page. I think that I may end up having to have one and the thing that annoys me the most about that is having everyone else meet her before I do. I want to be the first to see her and hold her. The thought of others going to see her while I am in recovery makes me mad. I have made a pact with my husband that if I do have a c-section, not to tell a soul until after she is born. I want to wait a few hours before family is called. Thankfully he is in total agreement with that. We just want to spend quality time together with our new born before anyone else does. It is only right to do so. Every mother deserves that. After all we did carry our little one for 9 months.
