Hi! My name's Kristen and I found out that I was pregnant on August 9, 2007. At 17 weeks we found out that we're having baby girl!!! ...and we're naming her Taryn Heidi <3. I've had some complications so far, and if any of you have anything similar going on I would LOOVE to talk to you about it! I started having contractions around 15 weeks and have had them since... It used to be only 2 or 3 in a day, then gradually increased, and occasionally it would be 7 or 8 in an HOUR! I never really thought much of it, and one day I called my on call nurse and all she said was drink water and lay down, so I thought everything was ok. Around 26 weeks I started having them every 4 minutes and decided to go up to L&D, and found out I was dialated to 1.5 cm. They kept me in the hospital for a few days, monitored me, and sent me home taking Albuterol every 8 hrs for the contractions. At the end of 28 weeks I had a check up and ended up having crazy contractions in the dr's office that were again about 4 minutes apart. I got an ultrasound to check my cervical length and found out it was shortening (1.8, when normal is above 4). So I got stuck back in the hospital, and ended up going home taking the Albuterol every 6 hours, along with lots of bed rest. The contractions stopped for a day pretty much but now they're gradually increasing... WILL IT EVER END! Hopefully I won't have a preemie! :(

02/02/08: Found my first stretch marks today (besides the one on my breasts)... I'm defnately feeling really depressed now! :( I also added my 30 week picture in the belly photo album!!
