i have the name picked out already its Kai pronounced Kye. It is Hawaiian for ocean since my partner is 1/2 Hawaiian. :-D Im unsure on the middle name. It is up for debate.

i was so relieved to see it moving around the way it was plus when i got home from my scan i felt movement and put my hand where i felt it and i felt him kick so i feel better now. good luck with your pregnancy aswel xxx

That's fantastic news! Do you have any names yet? Yes I've told work and after all my stressing it turns out that they are actually really supportive and happy for me so i've been very lucky! Everything is going fine, although now i think my nausea has finally subsided and I'm left without any symptoms at all again, i don't know which I prefer as it is pretty scary just feeling nothing at all! I suppose the next mile stone is feeling the baby kicking but I've got another 3 or 4 weeks till i expect that to happen! When did you start to feel your baby kick?
How are things going with you? Are you happy to be having a girl?

omg yes it is so exciting. I actually find out tomorrow. I cannot wait. I have been looking forward to this for about 3/4 weeks now. They wouldnt let me book the appointment any sooner. Yesterday for the first time i felt one strong powerful kick from the baby. Before then I was having difficulty distinguishing if it was the baby. Then again this morning I was laying in bed and felt the baby kicking for about a minute straight. It was so cool. Have names picked out?

hiya...yer you have to pay for this scan privately in the uk it cost me £200 for it, you get a cd full of pictures, a dvd, 7 small pictures and 1 a4 size piture and you also get 2 scans , we go back on 26th july i cant wait..was you thinking of having one done??

well, i managed to avoid my friends for a couple of weeks at first, just making excuses that i was busy and then i said i was on a alcohol detox for a month (i thought any longer would make them suspicious) and now that month has passed i'm back to making excuses again! I only have 2 weeks though and then i can come clean! how about you...? did you tell everyone or keep it a secret till 3 months?

Things are going good - i think! I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms apart from i feel and look about a stone heavier (although that's probably more to do with all the nutella on croissants i'm eating than being pregnant).
I have my 3 month scan on July 19th after which i should be able to tell people that i'm pregnant, it's been hell having to keep this quiet for so long!
how are you doing? starting to feel the baby kicking yet?

Hi there
Just got back from the hospital and yay! saw the baby and heartbeat, what a wave of emotion i felt, i actually started laughing! whoop!
So... at least I can now relax and be happy, i'm so happy to have had a scan early on, especially as most people don't get anything at all till 12 weeks.

Hi Jo!
Thanks for your message, how are you feeling?
I am ok, had a bit of a mad few weeks, i had some bleeding on bank holiday monday (6 weeks and 1 day pregnant), went to A&E, had a scan but they couldn't see the embryo, they said the cervix was closed and the gestational sac and yolk sac were of a normal size for that time just no little'un.
So... I have to go back to have another ultrasound on Tuesday to see if there is a baby growing or not...I am very scared but trying to stay positive! argh!
I have to say the care I have had in London so far has been fantastic, everyone has been very kind and professional, how about you? where are you based?

hi there,

yay, november 16th! i honestly dont think ill hold the babies till then though. ill probably deliver sometime in october, i think.i see my high-risk doctor on monday. ill be 14 weeks 2 days. he uses the high tech ultrasound machine, so im gonna ask if he can see the sex. if not ill see him every two weeks so i should know soon, iA.
