Hey guys! Congrats on your pregnancies! I am 24 and pregnant with my second child! I am due in September, two weeks shy of my 25th birthday! I am a full time student at Arkansas State University majoring in social work, I also work part time at a child and youth pediatric day clinic. My daughter will be 3 in May and she is so awesome! Her favorite song is Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" and she can sing an entire verse with no help lol! My husband is David, and he is going to school and majoring in auto body repair, he also works at a restaurant part time. Anyway, thats us, so excited to add an addition to our little world! thanks for visiting my page!

Hello... I thought I might lift your spirits a little. I was in preterm labor at 30 and a half weeks. I have been off medicine and bed rest for the past 2 weeks and I am still pregnant!!!!! Good luck!

Yeah-I am scheduled. Friday at noon. The dr. asked if I wanted the 2nd or 3rd. I said either was fine. He called the hospital and they didn't have an opening until the 5th. Same day as my husbands birthday. Oh well-He will just have to deal with princess cakes from now on ha ha ha. Can't believe it is so close!!!! Any changes for you?

Just read your post. Relaxin is one of the many hormones surging through your body. It's main function is to relax ( hense the name ) the ligaments and joints getting ready for baby to exit that route. I've had a pillow throughout most of this pregnancy and I still ache. I've heard of women taking pain relief to no avail. Hope this helps and good luck. And yes I've done alot of research lol.

I know what you mean! I have pains all day too-but NOTHING. I had a c-section last time and will have one this time too- but I never had these pains with my first pregnancy!!! I would give anything to move it up-even though it's only one week away. I forgot how bad the last weeks were ha ha ha. Glad your doing ok. You never know-you may go into labor at any minute. Hope to hear from you soon!!!!

This last couple of days is filled with anxiety and restlessness. I just want tuesday to come. I cant wait to see her face. Or get a whiff of that baby smell. Its amazing how fast the whole 9 months went by. I walk and walk til my back hurts and i cant take it anymore, NOthing, no dilation, no nothing. Babys still high and everything is closed and tight. Shes big so thats the only way i lucked out with a c section. Otherwise, theres no telling when i would have delivered. I am glad that i wont hgave to go through the labor pains. And since this is my second c section, I have an idea of what the after surgery pain is going to be like. Im better prepared this time. I know im going to have an interesting birth story.! I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

Just about the same here!! My cervix is still closed and although her head has dropped its still not engaged yet, Ive been walking alot and Im so sick of this limbo we are in. Im scared that I will need to be induced also as with my last pregnancy I was secedualed for an induction but went into labor 2hours before hand. I think it may just be little girls that are stubbon and like to stay put.... Anyway I have to go for now but please keep intouch. Luv Christina. X

It's great that your going to have help! I have been "nesting" like crazy for the past week!!! You do need to put pics up! I would love to see it. Lily's room is orange and other bright colors like pink and green and purple. There is also alot of zebra print in there-sounds like a lot going on-but I really like it!!!What is yours? and do you have a name picked out?

I have the same insurance...and yes I do feel like it's an assembly line when I see the Dr. He moves so fast through the appt. that I don't have the time to ask questions or feel that I received quality care...but I am thankful that I am getting care in general and that it's free. Can you imagine paying 20% of the cost to have the baby? It really is, w/ current healthcare issues, a wonderful thing to have offered...I try to think of it that way.

thanks for the support! Once the labor begins, you don't care who's in there. But this year in particular has been a trying one. My mother and MIL BOTH have given us equal amounts of grief this year and the hubby and I just want a nice peaceful birth.

Yeah, as soon as you see her you'll know! :) Both names are really great...

I am doing okay I just want it to be over. I've been having a LOT lot lot of braxton hicks contractions lately. At least 15-20 a day. Sometimes they are really uncomfortable. I am hoping for some dilation at my week 36 visit next week! That would be exciting. :)

I don't know I could be wrong but I was looking at your family, pictures, etc. and you guys seem like such fun, outgoing, outdoors, sporty types that Devin just seemed to work and fit right in. :) The other is just as cute though!

I think Madeline sounds classic but also new - ya know? I love it. And you have to think of nicknames with both and if you would like the possible names people would come up with.
I am feeling great! I LOVE being pregnant. I have my work shower today, but pretty much already ready. I just need to mow the lawn once more, clean my room, clean the carpets, etc. LOL - stuff that really does not HAVE to be done.
