Her favorite song is Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" and she can sing an entire verse with no help lol! My husband is David, and he is going to school and majoring in auto body repair, he also works at a restaurant part time. Anyway, thats us, so excited to add an addition to our little world! thanks for visiting my page!

How is your pregnancy going??

kammysmom - Monday, 16 June
I just did the same thing last night about my baby girl kicking. I can usually expect her to kick me alot when I first lay down at night, but last night was different she didn't do anything. I even shook my belly around and she still wouldn't kick for me. Scared me to death, but I finally fell asleep and this am everything is back to normal or seems to be she is kicking pretty regularly again! I guess she is getting me ready to be a mom, I know I will worry about her constantly!! But I am glad you and your baby girl are good too!

Hi, Thank you so much for the advice, I appreciate it very much. I was so worried I jeodordized my chances to being able to breastfeed this new baby too. I was so worried! Thanks again for everything! Best wishes to you and your family!

That is so cool about the $60 3d u/s. Wish they had that around here! My sisters in MO. have several children already - I think they are done! lol
My pregnancy is pregressing well. I just had to do the 3 hour glucose tolerance test last week and am waiting for the results. Sigh. But other than that, I think it's been pretty routine! And you are right - it is going pretty darn fast!

Thanks so much for sharing with me! biggrin: I sure hope it turns out for you. Im 27wks so I would like to get one done, at this price, its too good to pass up! Please let me know how it turns out. Are you gonna get the CD ROM? I always thought a CD ROM was part of the PC...lol I know what a CD is, but why pay for a second one? Anyhoo, let me know, maybe it is still pics of the baby on the CD ROM that you can upload vs a Video of it on the CD??? It would be nice to see the features of little Lillys face. Best Wishes and I hope it turns out really well for you, Ill be watching for your results. wink:

Hey! How is everything going? I read your polls and I have to say that you being more frightened of labor the second time around is NOT reassuring!!! ; ) Did you decide if you were going to stick with the name Molly or not? I think it's a lovely name and you should go with it. We don't know the sex of our baby yet but I have always wanted to call my daughter Olivia, ever since I was a kid. And my hubby likes it too! And now of course it's one of the most common names around. So I don't know whether I would still use it. Maybe I should take my own advise and name my child what I l like! Anyhoooo I hope everything is going smoothly for you!

Just checking in-how is everything? All I know is that Arkansas is too hot-and will only get hotter!

kar - Thursday, 12 June
I'm hanging in there....I've been extremely busy at work (so no time to check in here, lol) and on the weekends we've been renovating our basement/working on cleaning up the garden/and planning Emma's 3rd b-day party (it's on July 5th). My only complaint now is lower backache. If I sit for more than 15 minutes at a time, getting up after and walking is very painful. I guess the little guy must be lieing on a nerve or something! I even went for a massage yesterday (was very relaxing), but unfortunately when it comes to lower back they can't do much (afraid of inducing labour) I feel like I've been complaing so much this time around.
So how about you? You must be done with school by now...are you officially off for the summer? It's great that you're getting all the baby stuff together...I feel so guilty 'cause I haven't thought much about it. The only thing I have bought is a crib (and only 'cause it was on sale), I'll be using a lot of Emmas stuff most of it's neutral (ie. bedding and outfits 0-3 mths). BUt they're all still packed away!
Have you had a 4-d u/s?? How's your belly?? I'm HUGE, at last appt. I was measuring 2 wks ahead :(

daisymum2be - Wednesday, 11 June
Hey! Just read your poll - I'm terrified of giving birth again too! (Not pregnant again yet tho)
I'm assured you tear less, if at all, with ur 2nd baby but i wont believe it, lol.
I was induced too, with just under 6hrs of easy labour - do you think that'll mean we'll have quicker labours next time even tho we were induced? Figured since you're preggo again, you might know! Been trying to ask everyone and no one has an answer! Gr. x

Hi,
i know what you mean about carrying high, ive caried all 3 of mine high and its a nightmare,
makes breathing so much more difficult - and bending too!!
I dont eat much either cos i get full too quick - baby takes up so much room LOL.
ive not been measured yet, im expecting that to start next week as im 28 wks then and have my next midwife apt.

No we havent started babys room yet either!
Having said that, we are in the midst of decorating our conservatory, a friend was helping my hubby but he has let us down so we're a bit in the lurch! its made me cross really cos im desperate to get it all done.

Our daughter is still in our room and im SO DESPERATE to get her into her own room, but thats a bit of a dilemma. You see this baby they have said is a boy, so he will need to have the litte room as the nursery and then the 2 girls will have to share in the big room.
My dilemma at the moment is that i want daughter 2 in her own room before the baby comes (should have been long before now but for one reason or another it hasnt happened,) so our thoughts now are to just do up the small room a bit and put her in there until the time comes that i want to move the baby in there, then she would join her sister. or should we just go for it and move her in with her sister now and do the little room as a nursery now, thing is, what if they are wrong with the sex of the baby, if they are, then it would be easier to put my youngest in with the baby in the bigger room and put the eldest in the little room on her own (she's 7 years older than my youngest you see so she is coming up to the age where she needs her own space even more)

Oh i dont know, its really stressing me to be honest, I just wish we had the money to be able to move to a 4 bed house - that would solve all these problems hey !

Hows your foot now? mine still a bit sore but not bad by any means, had bad hip pain last week for a ferw days but thankfully that seems better now too, just need to sort out the backache now hehehe,

Anyway, hope you get sorted soon, im sure i'll still be in a mudle the day before the babys due lol.
Take care mate xxx

Don't feel guilty! You and your baby come first! I am a teacher but I chose to teach summer school this year. When it ends in July trust me I'm not doing anything else. In fact I'm not returning to school in August. I've chosen to take time off until the baby comes and then enjoy my time with her. Your job will do fine without you there.

hopeful2008 - Friday, 6 June
Hiya,
hey about when you start your maternity leave, i so believe its a personal individual thing. I mean some people who have less strenuous jobs can work right till the last minute, others are gonna need to finish earlier just simply due to the demands of their job on them being too much.
In my last pregnancy i worked up to 35 weeks - i think i did really well to get that far, i was SO SO sick the whole time, had loads of health things going on and worked full time on a trauma orthopedic ward.
This time however, i am AIMING to work till 37 weeks because now im only part time and am feeling relatively well in comparrison, still on the same ward and at times i really wonder if im gonna get that far but like i said, thats the plan.
Even so, you shouldnt feel guilty, its your decision and you know your body best and how its coping with the demands you are putting on it.
So i say good luck to you and roll on early leave lol.
The only reason im hanging on in there as far as 37 weeks is to give me more time off after the baby is born, Freya arrived 10 days overdue so i had just over 6 weeks to wait before she arrived from when i finished work and i was SO bored which made me even more anxious for her to come.
Anyway, you do what you feel is right for you and im sure it will be fine.,
Take care honey xxxx

Hi! I hope that you are doing well. Yes, I am also taking off as of July 1st. I am so excited to have that little bit of extra time to be at home and get things ready and spend time with my 7 year old son! DO NOT feel guilty! You will be overworked in September!

leah2885 - Tuesday, 3 June
Thanks for the advise, my cramps got a lot better once I got home from work and just sat down. I guess you are right, they must just be stretching pains. She is getting soooo big now. This is my first baby and yesterday I actually saw her roll over in my belly. It was so awesome. I can't believe how much I love her!!!

2ndtimearound@25 - Monday, 2 June
Hello! How are you? everything is good here. Finally able to get some sleep now that my son is better. He is going to have surgery for tonsills, adenoids, and tubes in his ears in a couple of weeks-so I'm trying to rest now while I can! Hope all is well with you!

kristam - Sunday, 1 June
I have had some really good days and also some bad ones....lol. The other day I was feeling very crampy, but it went away. Last night I was laying down trying to get my little ones to sleep when I got a huge painful contraction, but there was only one, but it was strong. But everything else has been very good! Hope things are going well for you!

RASL30 - Friday, 30 May
the BH contractions I have (and I had like 5 yesterday) are usually not painful at all, just a little uncomfortable b/c I feel my body doing something. Usually I only notice b/c I touch my belly & it is hard, but sometimes I will have light cramps on one side (very period like). Occassionally (in the last 2 days) I will get a bit more painful cramping feeling, not sure if it baby kicking, or hitting a nerve.
HTH!

halambert - Thursday, 29 May
Braxton Hicks contractions are low and last no longer than about 10 seconds. I usually get mine when my bladder is full. Sometimes they stop me in my tracks but they really shouldn't be too painful.

hopeful2008 - Thursday, 29 May
bless ya, well good luck for tomorrow then, hope its all better when the cast comes off.
I reckon these aches and pains is just pure and simple down to pregnancy! men would never survice a second time round would they hahahaha.
Take care, nice to catch up again xxx

hopeful2008 - Thursday, 29 May
Hi,
Well with my last pregnancy I had REAL strong braxton hicks, mainly towards the end. I remember going to the consultant and he asked me if i was in pain as he was examining me. I just said no not really it just feels like the baby is turning over, he said Oh no my dear you are having contractions!!! I said well if they all feel like this then bring em on LOL.

This time however i have had these type of tightnings for about the last 2 weeks, its like my whole tummy goes tight and hardenes. And its not painful just quite a bit uncomfortable, they dont last very long but can be quite freuent. Im sure they are braxton hicks because they are so like what the Dr told me i was having last time,

Dont know if that helps but thought id share my experience with you anyway.

By the way, hows the plantar faciitis??? Its really funny y'know because since i last wrote to you, bout a week later, ive started to get it back in my right foot! HAHAHA, couldnt believe it. Its not too bad though, just a bit sore when i stand up on it after ive been sitting or sleeping! I dunno ey.

Anyway, hope you are well.
Take care, Theresa xxx
