See how my baby is doing

I could not stand the other page. The blog went on and on and on. If you really feel like reading the blog of a depressed, sad, sick pregnant gal, have at it. You will find it here: http://i-am-pregnant.com/vip/us-n-kenzie-2

The information here is from 5 months on. I am hoping it will be more upbeat and happier as I settle into being pregnant.

Since you are here anyway, why not go to the baby name poll and vote on which you like best. It's okay, not many people like the names we are choosing, and I am okay with that because I don't really like their names. The name poll is here:

VOTE on my Name List

In late February we found out that we are having a girl!!
its a girl GiRl its a girl
March 13th - I am going to turn 32 tomorrow. This is a hard reality. I am still having trouble having had turned 30 a few years ago. I am going to be 50 when this child graduates from high school!! OMG!! I remember when my mom turned 32 and they had a party for her and I remember thinking how OLD that sounded to me (I was 6 at the time). Now I am 32....almost. :) My husband works that day so it will just be me and my daughter. I am looking forward to that a little. I may take her to get her nails painted. She loves going to the salon and letting them paint her nails. She is such a girl! So you know what I dont like...maternity tops with the ribbony thing that goes around and ties in the back. They kinda look like something I would have bought for my daughter when she was 4. I feel like a pregnant toddler. Yes, I do own some of the tops like that, but I dont like it. I have had such a hard time finding pregnancy tops that dont make me look about 300 pounds more than I really am. The fact that I am heavy to begin with means that I dont need anything adding the illusion of any extra poundage to me. Ah well.

March 18th - I am not feeling right. I fainted yesterday and now I am worried about doing it again and either ending up being in the middle of the office I work in or smacking my head on something and being knocked unconscious. LoL. My husband still has not made any move toward me, but I did let him know that I am not going to be the one to initiate anything any longer. He knows that I am bothered that I feel as though I have to hound him to get him to want to mess around and it does not seem to affect him much so I guess we'll see what happens. It's not looking good though. It hurts and bothers me that he knows how much this is affecting me and he still cannot bring himself to do it. I feel like I am making him do it or that he is messing around out of obligation or just to get me to leave him alone when I bug him about it. I also feel kinda silly being so upset about this. After all, it's just sex. I guess its not so much the sex itself as the fact that it stopped so abruptly and with no obvious reason.

Hi I was looking on your profile and saw your 4d scan picture, its so cute! When did you have it done?

Oh man, partying sounds exhausting but like a wonderful idea (you know, if we weren't pregnant *L* I miss beer!)Don't worry I am totally going to be careful moving. Kevin has the pleasure of moving my stuff pretty much all on his own and then the next day his family comes over to move him and the rest of my big stuff. I won't be doing much. I think I need to move while pregnant more often. No one will let me do much of anything *L*

Holly28 - Monday, 5 May
Things are going ok. Feet hurt all the time and this morning EVERYTHING made me cry but I would say overall it is good. I only have one day shy of 5 weeks left of work left and am literally counting the days. Kevin and I move in together this weekend. Surprisingly, this isn't stressing me out even though we are no where near close to ready (packing wise I mean).
The other day I actually saw my belly moving from the baby; Kevin saw it too. I think this hit him. I hadn't seen it before either because it was always lower than I could see. It was VERY cool. Stupid message sent itself before I was done writing so I had to come over to your page and edit it...grr *L*. How are you doing hun? You must be close to being done with work too.

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I was SO emotional and sore I was breaking down at my desk at work - needless to say I've been off for two days since! I don't think I would have been so bad, but for lack of sleep and the fact that someone had TOLD me I could take something, only to have everyone dash my hopes like that! lol. Thank you so much again. I was even more emotional when I popped on here and saw how many awesome messages had been left. It's amazing to be on here... really something to know you're not alone!

Usually when u have a blood clot....u do have pain/soreness at the site...but its also accompanied with redness and swelling too. Also when u touch that area it can be very warm to touch. Don't massage the area if u think you might have a blood clot. Call your doc and let him know if u think u might have one. I hope this helps!

1chance2live - Wednesday, 16 April
I talked to my mother about it and she said that she had them but I am going to just mention it to my doctor just so she knows...thanks for the info! =)

CCQ - Tuesday, 15 April
I don't think my baby has had the hiccups at all. Maybe I just don't notice them. But, then again, she is getting so solid in my belly, I feel like I might run outta room. LOL

mommydearest1 - Tuesday, 15 April

Hi Emily, great hearing from you. :) Yes, all is going well and day is drawing near. yikes!! We're very excited and nervous all at the same time. Just when we think we're ready for Everett, we're reminded we still have lots to do. :) How are you doing? I absolutely LOVE the 3D photo of your baby girl...so precious. How's the nursery coming along?

ladyintexas - Saturday, 12 April
no my scar actually hasn't bothered me....but I know that it was really itching when it was healing the second time around...everything will be just fine for you...I am going to be having my 3rd c/s on Wednesday...I am so ready to get it over with!

Heather-08-01 - Wednesday, 9 April
Thanks for the advice =) I was told by my HR department that temporary disability won't cover anything if I had a "normal" pregnacy - which sounds like B.S. to me - I'm definitely doing my own research on that one. This is all so frustrating right now - I know most working moms can relate. I really appreciate your response.

HollieNJax - Monday, 7 April
Have you had any problems with your blood pressure? or headaches? You might want to call the doctors office and let them know about the pain in your abdomen as well as the swelling. They might want to check you out. Hope it all gets better!

kathrynb10 - Monday, 7 April
I read your comment about the swelling. Call your doctor as soon as you can. Swelling up really fast can be a sign of eclampsia.

Hi! I saw your post about the cats, and the static collars. We have three cats in our home and have been worried about how to contain them. They are lazy cats, and aren't really that rambunctious. I think the static collar would be good for them. Where did you get it at? I looked at some of the websites for our local stores and didn't see a 'static collar for cats', any info would be awesome! Thanks for your help!

phylicias-first-baby - Tuesday, 1 Apr
ya we want to but shes the kind of person that will only do it if its her idea. she has said it before so maybe one day she will. hows your pregnancy going? hope all is well. i'm ready to have him. he's getting way to big and i don't have enough room ha

phylicias-first-baby - Monday, 31 Mar
oh its as good as its gonna get for awhile. shes taken us to court like 4 times on random stuff. she tried to tell the court the reason why she hasn't seen her son since he was 16 months was because my husband and i were hiding out. it was ridiculous. so not only had she abandond her son for more then 2 years, she tried blaming his father. the courts did not buy it though because shes the one that stopped showing up, not only for visitations but to court. we were called to court 3 times in the last month and called back to court because she would ask for a continuence. she recently tried to hold my husband in contempt for moving a year ago but they dropped it because are address was changed on court doc. and that was the time she stopped showing up to court. so our lawyer finally had enough of her and we took her to court last week for child support. My husband and i have been soul providers for our son and she had the nerve to say that she shouldn't have to pay anything for kayden and pretty much told the courts he's not worth it. I love kayden and would do anything for him, i just dont see how a biological parent couldn't have that same love for a child they birthed. But it gets worse. As we were in court, she stud in front of the judge as claimed that she was unstable and could not work cause she had serious health issues. Heres the catch: shes pregnant. Shes about two months behind me, you can't even tell she is pregnant, and she tells the judge now that she has this baby she cant take care of kayden! The judge looks at me, I'm full blown pregnant, working fulltime, supporting her child, and i recovered from cancer in my uterus 3 months before i got pregnant! She had the nerve to say these things. So they found her in contempt because she had no excuse. Kayden had a visitation yesterday and it was sopposed to be 3 hours. When we arrived, we find out her visit is only going to be an hour. So we had to cancel our plans, and had to stay close to the area because driving home and back would take longer. Then we returned in an hour and her mother drops him off 17 minutes late with no phone call, and she is not even in the car. It makes me sad. But kayden is such a happy child, he runs to the car with his dad, opens the door, and with a big smile says, 'HI MOM! MISS ME?' and asks for a big hug. He's my son and i love him so much. I'm glad i can be there for him as a motherly figure, he really is a mommas boy, which i love so much

Hi there, how are you feeling? Just wanted to say hello to someone who's actually in the Chicago area AND pregnant lol...I moved from Chi back in August and miss it terribly!

Thanks for the MIL/FIL advice! I am glad I am not the only person who doesn't want everyone hanging out after such a tiring time! I read your page.... and about the initiating of things with hubby.... yah, I am the one who has to always.... I told him I am not anymore b/c I feel like I am making him do chores! I just am not getting it anymore either and am upset about it.... it really sucks!
