See how my baby is doing

I could not stand the other page. The blog went on and on and on. If you really feel like reading the blog of a depressed, sad, sick pregnant gal, have at it. You will find it here: http://i-am-pregnant.com/vip/us-n-kenzie-2

The information here is from 5 months on. I am hoping it will be more upbeat and happier as I settle into being pregnant.

Since you are here anyway, why not go to the baby name poll and vote on which you like best. It's okay, not many people like the names we are choosing, and I am okay with that because I don't really like their names. The name poll is here:

VOTE on my Name List

In late February we found out that we are having a girl!!
its a girl GiRl its a girl
March 13th - I am going to turn 32 tomorrow. This is a hard reality. I am still having trouble having had turned 30 a few years ago. I am going to be 50 when this child graduates from high school!! OMG!! I remember when my mom turned 32 and they had a party for her and I remember thinking how OLD that sounded to me (I was 6 at the time). Now I am 32....almost. :) My husband works that day so it will just be me and my daughter. I am looking forward to that a little. I may take her to get her nails painted. She loves going to the salon and letting them paint her nails. She is such a girl! So you know what I dont like...maternity tops with the ribbony thing that goes around and ties in the back. They kinda look like something I would have bought for my daughter when she was 4. I feel like a pregnant toddler. Yes, I do own some of the tops like that, but I dont like it. I have had such a hard time finding pregnancy tops that dont make me look about 300 pounds more than I really am. The fact that I am heavy to begin with means that I dont need anything adding the illusion of any extra poundage to me. Ah well.

March 18th - I am not feeling right. I fainted yesterday and now I am worried about doing it again and either ending up being in the middle of the office I work in or smacking my head on something and being knocked unconscious. LoL. My husband still has not made any move toward me, but I did let him know that I am not going to be the one to initiate anything any longer. He knows that I am bothered that I feel as though I have to hound him to get him to want to mess around and it does not seem to affect him much so I guess we'll see what happens. It's not looking good though. It hurts and bothers me that he knows how much this is affecting me and he still cannot bring himself to do it. I feel like I am making him do it or that he is messing around out of obligation or just to get me to leave him alone when I bug him about it. I also feel kinda silly being so upset about this. After all, it's just sex. I guess its not so much the sex itself as the fact that it stopped so abruptly and with no obvious reason.

Hi, I can understand your hubby reluctance about sex. Your work schedule is insane - 12 hours shift, you said. You admitted that you don't feel good, you tired and your are in pain. So he must feel himself a monster for even thinking of sex with you now. Tears won't help, since it will only support his opinion that you are moody, tired, unstable and dangerous to approach. Also every man's worst fear is rejection. They better will go without sex than risk being pushed away. In this situation, I would just initiate sex myself. Only gently, without pushing for it. I always do this with my husband anyway. he is a quiet type, who will keep silent and not making any move until I give him a clear message that I want it. Usually, this means making first step. It is also good to make him get used to the idea that touching, kissing and other stuff may or may not lead to full intimacy. That it is ok, if not in the mood, just stop this after few hugs and kisses. because often men afraid to touch their wives, because they sure they must make full love after this. Well, but frankly, I don't know how you manage - such crazy work schedule and pregnancy - must be awful.

about the pains ....are they like right under your chest?? If they are and they are intense and are making you feel sick to your stomach it could be your gallbladder...those are no fun...

i read about ur job situation and ur boss must treat u as a normal person but also treat u like any other person with a sickness or disability. he should be accomodating for ur situation. i was fired last month when my boss found out i was pregnant, he also fired another woman 2 days later who is pregnant. i was a good worker and never had n e problem b4. i had to be @ work every morning @ 3am. i have a soon to be 3 yr old daughter so i only got about 3 hours of sleep most nights. i am going to sue them though. good luck with every thing

ur job situation is the most unfair, uncoorperative mess i have ever heard of. is it a job you could do from home--read & send fuel emails?? They r putting so much undue stress on u n the baby--im sorry hon. are you going to return to the same job afterwards?

Oh yes Mai Tai. I loved that place too. Right behind that hotel. Golden China was also pretty good. I miss it somedays but not bad enough to go back. lol

***MDelly*** - Tuesday, 4 Mar
OMG you said bojangles!!! LOL I loved that place (chicken and biscuits YUM). My husband and I were both stationed at Camp Lejeune that is how I met him. I miss Smith's BBQ too. Did you ever eat there??

Thanks for making me laugh (about the birth plans) this morning. I had the most detailed, anal retentive birth plan with my son... and it all went to pot when he decided to boycott my plans :). I guess I needed that life lesson... you can't control EVERYTHING! This time around I'm just hoping for a vbac, but not betting on it! Although I don't think I want a chain saw in my delivery room...;)

Your comment made me laugh. I too sit at a desk in front of a computer and try to check this site now and then. We haven't told anyone about the pregnancy as were very cautious and have had losses. I click off the screen everytime someone comes in to bother me about stuff.

HI - I love the dark wood baby furniture you have posted. Where did you get that?

mrt2153 - Monday, 3 Mar
Hi there! Your comments about your hard-headed and 'dumb as a box of rocks' cats made me giggle. I know Maine coons are huge, so I understand your concern about the crib and the baby. I have one who is both hard-headed AND as dumb as a box of rocks, and one who is just constantly desperate for attention. It's the dumb hard-headed one I worry about more. Good luck!

kla2200 - Tuesday, 26 Feb
Thank you SO much for your comment! Honestly, I was totally considering just not even reminding him about the appointment next Tuesday and seeing if he remembered on his own. And if not, Im just gonna go and I planned on sending a text message to everyone once I find out the sex and he can just find out with the rest of them! He is a good guy, dont get me wrong, but I guess I just need to see a bit more commitment to this whole endeavor that I have completely committed myself to.

sandrawb - Tuesday, 26 Feb
I just wanted to comment about the pic of the dobie and the baby. When I was a baby my mom had two dobies (Tara - female and Gin - male). Mom always told me how protective Tara was of me. I still have pictures of me playing with Tara as a very small child. Thanks for unintentionally brightening my day with that photo! :) <3 dobies!

aww, thanks for your email, you're too sweet. We too, didnt want the prepackaged, all too common, baby themes. We decided to decorate Everett's room in our puppy dogs. We have a black lab, yellow lab, and miniature pinscher. i think it turned out pretty cute. I love your animal print bedding, you'll definately need to let me know when you get it set up, because it looks too cute.
Hope you're feeling well and keeping my fingers crossed for you, as you keep yourself off of meds; including Xanax. :) LOL. HAPPY PREGNANCY!

mommy2be77 - Monday, 25 Feb
