See how my baby is doing

I could not stand the other page. The blog went on and on and on. If you really feel like reading the blog of a depressed, sad, sick pregnant gal, have at it. You will find it here: http://i-am-pregnant.com/vip/us-n-kenzie-2

The information here is from 5 months on. I am hoping it will be more upbeat and happier as I settle into being pregnant.

Since you are here anyway, why not go to the baby name poll and vote on which you like best. It's okay, not many people like the names we are choosing, and I am okay with that because I don't really like their names. The name poll is here:

VOTE on my Name List

In late February we found out that we are having a girl!!
its a girl GiRl its a girl
March 13th - I am going to turn 32 tomorrow. This is a hard reality. I am still having trouble having had turned 30 a few years ago. I am going to be 50 when this child graduates from high school!! OMG!! I remember when my mom turned 32 and they had a party for her and I remember thinking how OLD that sounded to me (I was 6 at the time). Now I am 32....almost. :) My husband works that day so it will just be me and my daughter. I am looking forward to that a little. I may take her to get her nails painted. She loves going to the salon and letting them paint her nails. She is such a girl! So you know what I dont like...maternity tops with the ribbony thing that goes around and ties in the back. They kinda look like something I would have bought for my daughter when she was 4. I feel like a pregnant toddler. Yes, I do own some of the tops like that, but I dont like it. I have had such a hard time finding pregnancy tops that dont make me look about 300 pounds more than I really am. The fact that I am heavy to begin with means that I dont need anything adding the illusion of any extra poundage to me. Ah well.

March 18th - I am not feeling right. I fainted yesterday and now I am worried about doing it again and either ending up being in the middle of the office I work in or smacking my head on something and being knocked unconscious. LoL. My husband still has not made any move toward me, but I did let him know that I am not going to be the one to initiate anything any longer. He knows that I am bothered that I feel as though I have to hound him to get him to want to mess around and it does not seem to affect him much so I guess we'll see what happens. It's not looking good though. It hurts and bothers me that he knows how much this is affecting me and he still cannot bring himself to do it. I feel like I am making him do it or that he is messing around out of obligation or just to get me to leave him alone when I bug him about it. I also feel kinda silly being so upset about this. After all, it's just sex. I guess its not so much the sex itself as the fact that it stopped so abruptly and with no obvious reason.

yeah well thats an idea.Yeah thats what i want. And i want it to mean something. i came across a heap of tattoos earlier but i think i'm gonna have to actually go into the tattoo shop and have a look, see if they can draw me out some ideas or something.
I really wanted to get into a certain tattooist,he's really really good, but he's that busy you cant get in to him.He leaves Boxing day open just to take appointments for the entire year. Your lucky if you can get through to him. So we tried to make a booking this year but he's booked up until early next year. it sucks.I just don't want a dodgy tattoo!

She'll be fine i reckon. I've been having alot of trouble with my son lately. He just keeps playing up really bad and gets so angry. He has always been a very emotional boy,but just latelyits been a little hard to take at times. When he's good,he's just perfect and he's always perfect to everyone else.people don't believe me when i tell them what he can be like. But anyway my mum asked me if i think its cos Elijah is here now. But he hasn't shown any resentment towards Elijah at all,he just loves him so much, but i think it could have messed him up a bit when we had to stay in melbourne for nearly 2 weeks. Eben and Drew were getting passed from one house to another,it was horrible. He is so much like i was, very shy and insecure, just has no confidence in himself and now that he's at school i think he's getting in touch with his emotions more. But this is all part of raising kids i guess.

I know this in not very original but i like the four leaf clover tattoos.I saw one with one persons name but i have to try and put 3 peoples names around it somehow. Be honest and tell me what you think

Yes I am having a little girl I was a little shocked at first, but then I got used to the fact that I was going to have a little me running around...lol...I have been feeling her move everyday, but sometimes it is way more on different days. And now that they are starting to get harder (I can't imagine her in there at 8 months moving around) they are becoming more frequent and more consistent. Yeah I am trying to push through it and finish while she is young because I just want to be done and get paid more money. Lol. I don't think you should be too concerned. I am sure is all right resting in your belly!!

mackenzie is really nice.I really really like it.doesn't it suck that other people started liking it too.
i live in a small town and i've noticed one or two mackenzies pop up

I've got quite a few people that don't like Elijahs name. They think its too different and that they won't be able to remember it. Its probably the more popular name out of my three kids, its even in the bible (i'm not religious though). They wanna know where we come up with these bloody names lol. Nevermind,we like em.

My 6 year old son Eben actually didn't want us to call the baby Elijah cos he knows one Elijah already and he kept saying to me'but you like different names mum and i know an Elijah' so he wanted to call it Max cos he hasnt' heard of anyone called that.

so is mackenzie all excited about her sister coming? Its great that your letting her pick the name.Either one is very nice.
When i was pregnant,my year old daughter Drew was all over me,she was so excited about the baby and was always asking questions about it.Whereas Eben didn't really care,he was happy about it but never said much.
Now that Elijah is here, its Eben that is absolutely obsessed with him! He just cant get enough of him which is great and Drews not the little mother i thought she'd be,but she loves giving him kisses and cuddles too.

How are you doing this week??

ede - Sunday, 24 Feb
All i know is that i want it on my ankle cos i want it where it can be seen by others and me and everywhere else is pretty bloody flabby now after having 3 kids lol. But i'm pretty short and i dont want my whole leg to look like its tattooed. So i dont know but it has to be done for my 30th birthday.

I have been doing really good watching what I eat lately but these last two weeks have been really bad. I am afraid to go to the doc on monday too! I know I am going to gain 10 pounds. I hope I am as lucky as you and only gain 2 pounds. Congrats on the baby girl!!!!

soon-to-be-first-time-mommy - Tuesday, 19 Feb
Just read your posts and saw where you were going to talk to your doctor about effexor. I have been on Effexor now for about four years...its fine and all but now that I'm about to have a child (it clearly states not to take it your 3rd trimester or during breastfeeding) I've tried to get off of it. IT IS HELL...PURE HELL!!! If you dont have to...please please please don't! Try something else and I dont have any suggestions but I would hate for anybody to have to go through what I've been through to get off this drug...its the #2 (next to paxil) WORSE withdrawal drug on the market. I BELIEVE IT! Oh and about the depression with the pregnancy thing...EVERYONE goes through it whether they want to admit it or not...you're just comfortable enough to be REAL about your feelings and that is a GOOD quality to have. Keep your head up and know that there are thousands of people going through the exact same thing as you!

Hey, I read your post about your ultrasound. Sorry your hubby can't be there with you. Does your doc's office have toys and things for kids? Cuz you could have your daughter leave the room for the last few minutes while you talk to your dr about the panic attacks. I wouldn't want my daughter hearing about that either - I remember thinking everything that was wrong with my mom when I was that age was my fault - when she cried, I cried, so I wouldn't want to put my kids through that either. Just a suggestion though. Best of luck to you :)

Thank you :-)

Hey there, I read your post in the Siblings section. My sister, who is an AWESOME mother, felt exactly the same way as you do when she was pregnant with her 2nd daughter. She was really worried she wouldn't love her like her first, and it didn't feel the same. Now those little girls are 5 and 3, so different, and so loved equally. I think it's quite normal and you will be just FINE!!! :) By the way, she just had her 3rd (a boy), and she wasn't even worrying about the love she'd feel for him after how things turned out with the girls. I hope this helps.
