See how my baby is doing

I could not stand the other page. The blog went on and on and on. If you really feel like reading the blog of a depressed, sad, sick pregnant gal, have at it. You will find it here: http://i-am-pregnant.com/vip/us-n-kenzie-2

The information here is from 5 months on. I am hoping it will be more upbeat and happier as I settle into being pregnant.

Since you are here anyway, why not go to the baby name poll and vote on which you like best. It's okay, not many people like the names we are choosing, and I am okay with that because I don't really like their names. The name poll is here:

VOTE on my Name List

In late February we found out that we are having a girl!!
its a girl GiRl its a girl
March 13th - I am going to turn 32 tomorrow. This is a hard reality. I am still having trouble having had turned 30 a few years ago. I am going to be 50 when this child graduates from high school!! OMG!! I remember when my mom turned 32 and they had a party for her and I remember thinking how OLD that sounded to me (I was 6 at the time). Now I am 32....almost. :) My husband works that day so it will just be me and my daughter. I am looking forward to that a little. I may take her to get her nails painted. She loves going to the salon and letting them paint her nails. She is such a girl! So you know what I dont like...maternity tops with the ribbony thing that goes around and ties in the back. They kinda look like something I would have bought for my daughter when she was 4. I feel like a pregnant toddler. Yes, I do own some of the tops like that, but I dont like it. I have had such a hard time finding pregnancy tops that dont make me look about 300 pounds more than I really am. The fact that I am heavy to begin with means that I dont need anything adding the illusion of any extra poundage to me. Ah well.

March 18th - I am not feeling right. I fainted yesterday and now I am worried about doing it again and either ending up being in the middle of the office I work in or smacking my head on something and being knocked unconscious. LoL. My husband still has not made any move toward me, but I did let him know that I am not going to be the one to initiate anything any longer. He knows that I am bothered that I feel as though I have to hound him to get him to want to mess around and it does not seem to affect him much so I guess we'll see what happens. It's not looking good though. It hurts and bothers me that he knows how much this is affecting me and he still cannot bring himself to do it. I feel like I am making him do it or that he is messing around out of obligation or just to get me to leave him alone when I bug him about it. I also feel kinda silly being so upset about this. After all, it's just sex. I guess its not so much the sex itself as the fact that it stopped so abruptly and with no obvious reason.

yogurt is a great for helping to prevent yeast infections. Its a yummy treat and good for you. Make sure it has the live cultures in it. :) i hope this helps...i used to suffer all the time from them.

niseybear - Monday, 11 Feb
I was told by my optometrist that your eyes do change will pregnant. You should be okay. You might want to try wearing glasses for a few days. Good luck!

stacka - Monday, 11 Feb
lol! thanks and take care xx

stacka - Monday, 11 Feb
I wear contact lenses too and i have been experiencing sometimes sticky, sometimes dry and irritated eyes. i think it may be something to do with the hormones (blame it all on the hormones!). Drives me crazy especially when i rarely wear my glasses and i've had to wear them a lot more lately due to all this!
Also, my partner acts a little the same, seems so uninterested in anything pregnancy related. He says he is scared too. i found a really good website that was aimed at men and what they could expect when their partner was expecting and it was really good. i think it was www.paternityangel.com or something like that. i wouldnt show him but it was good for me to understand a little what he may be going through.
i'm sorry your still feeling nauseas and i hope it subsides. but some women say how they experienced it all through their pregnancy. you might be one of the unlucky ones...

mamagarces - Monday, 11 Feb
i read your post about your contacts.
believe it or not, it is very common in pregnancy. your body goes through so many changes during pregnancy, and some of those changes affect your eyes as well, including slightly changing the shape of your eyes.
i have pretty much had to give up the contacts with this pregnancy, and my last.
but, your eyes will return to normal after delivery...
i wouldn't go out and pay all that money for an exam and new glasses/contacts when it is only a temporary condition.
you can find out more on-line if you are curious. one website you can go to is babycenter.com
hope this helps ease your worries.

wishing you a healthy, happy pregnancy, and baby! :)
take care

Reading your blogs, you'd think you were in week 30 plus with all the discomfort you're experiencing and you're just getting started lol Well they say it gets better after week 20...of course it didn't for me lol but maybe you'll be lucky =)

atrip1 - Sunday, 10 Feb
Oh yeah Congrats!

atrip1 - Sunday, 10 Feb
'Yes...the previous tenant, my daughter, left them there when she was evicted' lol that made me laugh haha Sorry you're having so much morning sickness. I know it's hard. I really don't think I've gone 2 days without throwing up. It's not fun. It's seriously gotten routine whereas I don't think about it anymore, I just do it.

gemz83 - Saturday, 9 Feb
Thank You!!. I am really hoping that this could be the month. I want a baby so bad. Congrats to u and your hubby.

totalsurpriseaboutthis - Saturday, 9 Feb
Let me tell you, I was prepared for a girl. I had a few girl clothes that I bought. Now I have to return them. I have bought alot of nutural clothes. But where are all the cute boy clothes? I mean the shoes, the pants, shirts? I know that T.J Max and Ross has alot of cool and cute (at a cheap price) boy clothes. But still... I still feel like what I am going to do with him when he gets here. hahaha

inkjunkie - Saturday, 9 Feb
Hmmmm...let me think about that 1 hun. I'll see what i come up with and will let you know xxxxxxx

nmck - Saturday, 9 Feb
Since you invited your MIL, and she isn't just the pushy type, I would look forward to her coming for the first month. I know how hard it can be to care for an infant, and having a grandmother there to help might be a godsend! It might give you and your husband a break, and allow you to spend more time with your daughter so she won't be too jealous of her new sibling. Good luck!

Awww...man I would have been so upset...like last time I went to the Doctor I just knew they were going to give me an ultrasound because I had not had one since 8 weeks, but nope they said we have to wait for the 20-week check up. I wanted to cry. I go on Monday though and I am supposed to find out then. I have been feeling pretty good just tired, hungry, easily annoyed and busy trying to maintain school and graduate. And yourself??

Emmz - Friday, 8 Feb
Aww thank you x

trust.believe.havefaith - Friday, 8 Feb

Laurada - Friday, 8 Feb
Thanks for the advice. SO far he has been pretty good and it was only that one night and sadly I just realized it was because he had cut 2 eye teeth and I didn't even realize. Bad mommy.. My only problem with him now is he is getting up a little earlier so I have to work on that.. He is up at 530am which during the week isn't to bad but on the weekend SUCKS.. any advice??

LauraBeth - Thursday, 7 Feb
I am ready to see his face more than anything. I am not miserable or anything that was just my first trimester. I am actually feeling pretty good.

newbiemama - Wednesday, 6 Feb
hi! You should talk to yuor doctor. It sounds like maybe it could be antenatal depression and some other forms of antidepressants can help. I also have this and talk to someone twice a week. DON'T hide how you feel becuase your feelings are valid and many many many women feel that way. It's just not socially acceptable to be ambivilant but many people feel this way too! seek support from people in your life and your community and you'll get throuhg this. Don't do it alone!!! take care!

Laurada - Monday, 4 Feb
LOL.. I am having the same cravings... I can't get enough. Its terrible but OH SO GOOD!!!

lilylu - Monday, 4 Feb
Hi There, i just read your post on the depression in pregnancy page! Your not crazy!! I lay on bed last night crying because i too just don't feel any excitement about the fact i'm due in 6 weeks! My pregnancy wasn't planned this time either! I already have 3 children 6,8 and 10, and i was also diagnosed with Polycystic ovaries about 3 years ago so i had come to terms with and excepted the fact i wasn't going to have any more babies, so it was a complete shock to find out i was expecting again! I feel kind of numb about the whole thing, its not as if i dont want the baby,i do! I just have no excitment over it and that makes me feel terrible! I dont know how to explain it to people without them thinking im horrible! So i keep it to myself! So your not alone in how you are feeling, i keep telling myself it will get better!!!!!
Please feel free to message me if you want, hope everything goes well for you, xx

LauraBeth - Monday, 4 Feb
