Hi Ladies! Good luck to those TTC and congrats to those who have!
My husband Mark and I have been together since Oct 01' and married since July 28, 04'. I have 2 boys from a previous marriage, ages 13 and 9. He has a boy 18, and a girl 16 also from a previous marriage. After his daughter was born he had a vasectomy. In February of 07' he had it reversed and the doctor gave him a 90% chance of success!!! We were so excited! Since February 07' I have not had a BFP once, but my AF has been all over the place. I was always 25-28 days. Now we are anywhere from 20-40. We are going to both be tested for abnormalities and see what's going on.
UPDATE! June 26th, 08'
We got a semen analysis completed, finally! Good news is his counts are phenomenal. Like over 4 BILLION...BILLION! Anything over 20 million is fertile...BUT, they are not moving. ZERO motility. So, we are waiting to see if it's the meds he takes, diet, smoking, etc...They are testing again in a few weeks. Also, we looked under a microscope a few months back and saw movement. I was reading online that the zero motility can be transient. But, I was also reading about sperm antibodies and that is scary. But, I think if that's the problem his count would be low. And I know it's not a chomosome defect because he has kids. We are cautiously optimistic...keep us in your prayers!
Sending you baby dust.
