My name is Valerie and I am 26 years old and just got married on 8/3/07 to the most wonderful man ever! We live in Chicago. We found out on 10/13/07 that we were expecting and are thrilled. I have two step daughters who can't wait to see my belly get bigger!!

Yesterday we heard our lil one's heartbeat for the first time! It's amazing!! :) Can't wait to find out the gender! :D

Happy New Year Everyone! :) I still haven't felt mylil one kick yet but on the plus side I got to hear his/her heartbeat again yesterday at my appt! It was a strong 150 bpm! :) I get my big ultrasound at my next appointment on 2/12! What a great Valentine's Day gift =)

I felt my lil one move for the first time last night! It was awesome. It really did feel like gas! lol...I just knew it wasn't cuz it kept on for awhile :)

Today was our ultrasound appt! We are having a little boy! :) He is measuring up to five days ahead of my due date. The doc won't move up my date though, says baby just might be a lil bigger :) He is healthy and already 1 pound 2 oz! I posted my ultrasound pics...so check him out! :D
4/2/08~
So I realized that I haven't made an entry in a looooong time and am overdue. lol. I am exactly 29 weeks today. Baby and I are healthy. I passed my gestational diabetes test back in March. Cristian is moving around all the time now and I absolutely love feeling it all :) This Saturday 4/5, we go to see him at our 3d/4d ultrasound! I can't wait!!! It has almost 2 months since we last seen him and this time in color and action! Awesome :) Just 11 weeks until he is due to arrive....wow! it's going by sooo fast :) April 26th is my baby shower. Hubby and I got most of the things we need and are slowly but surely getting his room ready =)

my daughter sleeps from 830pm till about 330am takes a bottle and sleeps till about 630am! We are very lucky as some mommies dont see this for a month or more to go! We were blessed with 3 nights she slept through the 330am bottle and got too cocky and she went back to her normal routine lol :) but it sounds like your little one is getting there!!

wow he is really growing fast! i can't wait to see how much lukas has grown, but will have to wait til next week. he is still in his newborn diapers :) I think he will be for a while. will save me money on diapers the little runt lol. well i don't get online very much, but plan on it every once in a while so hope we can keep in touch. well gotta go for now, kisses to cristian :)

My son is 5 1/2 weeks and it sounds like he is on about the same schedule as yours. He sleeps from 8 or 9 until 1 or 2 and then wakes at 5. Sometimes he will wake up every hour after that and sometimes he will sleep until 7:30.

well lukas will be one month tomorrow already :( lol. He has a check up in two weeks. I can tell he is getting plenty to eat with the way his cheeks are getting more pinchable lol. he is almost up to 4 ozs. one night he ate almost 6. my very own little porky :) he rolled over yesterday, though it wasn't intentional. he really doesn't like tummy time and managed to push himself over. he is starting to stay awake a little longer every time now. well i should get some stuff done :) wishing you two a great day :) give chritian kisses from me :)

Hey there I had a great weekend!! It was my first alone with my Lukas. It was so much fun. So far he is sleeping ok and still a lot. Except he likes to be up at night the last couple of nights. Not sure that I am a fan of that lol. I need to get him on a schedule!! He eats a ton!! I think he is going through a growth spurt. Went from 3 ozs to 5. Are you nursing. I tried the first couple of days, but he got real whiny one day, so I pumped and gave him a bottle and don't think he got enough through my breast alone and really sucked down through the bottle. I used the bottle for about 2 weeks then started nursing again Saturday, but noticed that he was waking up every hour to eat. I think I am going to stick to pumping for now and try to get him on a schedule. Sorry for the long story, lol. How is your little man. I can't believe mine is 22 days old already! I have a feeling that he is going to grow up way to fast. I realized today that I somewhat miss being pregnant lol. Never thought I would say that!! Well I should get going for now. I hope all is well for you and you little man!!

lol Thats so funny! She lets me get no more than 2 hours at a time. And occasionally she skips a nap. Im dealing with it ok I guess. I have cried a couple of times but nothing too serious. I cant wait till she is a month old. Hopefully by then she'll be sleeping more hours. :)

HI- i am bottle feeding too, I became engorged about 5 days after and within 4 days I had reduced down but no leaking. Leaking is good because it will help with the enorgement and your body will stop producing the milk. Hope this helps!!
