Hi everyone! We are expecting our first baby in June. I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks. Everything looked good with the exception of a small cyst on the umbilical cord. The doctor said that these usually resolve after the first trimester... but she did throw in that in some cases these have indicated chromosomal abnormalities. So, that scared us to death and we are trying not to worry. We have another ultrasound on 12/14 and we will see if the cyst has resolved. Please keep us in your prayers... I've learned that pregnancy certainly tests your faith!Other than that my pregnancy has been very normal and we are very excited. I think that this site is a great way to connect with other mommies-to-be!

Had my NT testing yesterday and could not have gotten better news... no cyst on the umbilical cord, 1:10,000 chance of Down's and the baby looks beautiful! Our little baby was moving all around and waving at us! We even heard the heartbeat at my regular OB appointment earlier that morning. I am so thankful and so happy... I feel like I can relax and enjoy this now. :)

Second trimester! :) I still have zero energy, though. Hopefully things will get better soon. I swear I feel little flutters now and then... maybe I `m crazy but I like the idea of feeling the baby move already.
