Second Ultrasound and baby is perfect. 5.5 cm and heart rate of 154 bpm. I couldn't stop crying at first, then laughing. Little one would not sit still the whole time, had a stretch and rolled around making it difficult to get neck measurement for the NT scan. NT was 1.3 cm so everything is spot on :D I'm so in love with my baby already.

24th May, had a check up and my uterus is exactly where it it should be and the heart is 140 bpm, makes me laugh as we are not finding out what we are having and bubs isn't going to let me have fun with the old wives tale and narrow my guess. That's my child for sure.

Its a girl... I didn't want to know but she did a huge jump and flashed us after I had a really cold glass of water to get her to move. This better be the first and last time she ever flashes!! She is perfectly healthy and thats the important thing.

July, she is still sitting really low and kicks me in the crotch, well around the cervix a lot. I'm not getting my glucose test done until 30 weeks and I'm measuring 27 weeks at 26 weeks. I hope she doesn't get too big because I really do want a natural birth.

Ah okay thanks for that. Exactly. I know I went for a walk around the block before and it was sunny next thing I knew it was black. Lol. I think I made an ass of myself before I rang up the ultrasound place to see if my appointment still on and the lady like ah yes it is. Lol. I just wanna make sure because a friend of mine went to hers and they have no appointment for her. Poor thing. And she hold her bladder in and I am lucky I don't have to.

I got dated 29 weeks and 1 day (yesterday)...so the next doc appointment is August 20 (couple days away). so we will see what he says. two weeks ago, he was measureing me at 29, and then some. so we will see. ok, potty time for me, then nap time for both of us.

I do understand. Did Tim go with you to the appointment? We were a little over an hour late getting there, it was further than I thought. so I kept calling them, assuring them that we are on the way. they managed to fit us in , in between appointments. She is definitly a girl, she already takes after her daddy on a lot of things. she like to show her little rear (literally)...that was all we saw for a while. then we got a really good genital shot. she has Carls face shape, his fat little cheeks, his high cheekbones, his attitude even. she did not want to wake up and show us her face. I've got some really good pictures though, even thought I think really the last ultrasound pictures were better. she was 2 pounds 15 ounces yesterday. so she should be a chunk when she makes her appearance. I am still taking what they said about gender with a grain of salt. she even has hair. I was just foored by how much I love her.

I just wanted to say how much I miss beer. Its summer and a nice cold cider sounds so delicious sometimes... or a heffeweisen with an orange or lemon... mmm. Just a few more weeks! I can't imagine if I had been a smoker, I know thats way harder to give up than the occasional drink. Well done!
