Second Ultrasound and baby is perfect. 5.5 cm and heart rate of 154 bpm. I couldn't stop crying at first, then laughing. Little one would not sit still the whole time, had a stretch and rolled around making it difficult to get neck measurement for the NT scan. NT was 1.3 cm so everything is spot on :D
I'm so in love with my baby already.
24th May, had a check up and my uterus is exactly where it it should be and the heart is 140 bpm, makes me laugh as we are not finding out what we are having and bubs isn't going to let me have fun with the old wives tale and narrow my guess. That's my child for sure.
Its a girl... I didn't want to know but she did a huge jump and flashed us after I had a really cold glass of water to get her to move. This better be the first and last time she ever flashes!! She is perfectly healthy and thats the important thing.
July, she is still sitting really low and kicks me in the crotch, well around the cervix a lot. I'm not getting my glucose test done until 30 weeks and I'm measuring 27 weeks at 26 weeks. I hope she doesn't get too big because I really do want a natural birth.

vipbaby68123 - Wednesday, 17 September not lately, just some small heartburn when I eat certain things, but always during the day. lately, I have had issues (painful ones) with WALKING of all things. oh my god does it hurt sometimes. I came home from work last week and cried for a day and a half, I hurt so bad. All I could do was lay there. The pressure is about the same. My back only hurts though, when I sweep, vaccum, or mop a floor. that so hurts. My friend I work with, loaned me a pregnancy belt, that seems to prevent her from descending to the lower portions of my anatomy. So, I'm just taking it one day at a time. the next doc appointment is the 19th, at 3pm. I am seriously considering asking the doc to write me a medical excuse so I will not have to work so hard on my job.
vipbaby68123 - Wednesday, 17 September and we definitely say the same about our little bundles!
vipbaby68123 - Wednesday, 17 September that is so cool.
mamatess - Wednesday, 17 September "Just trying to battle the fatigue of working full time still and being heavily pregnant." Sounds just like me! That's about it! No complaints, just day-to-day pregnancy. Everyone says, "How do you feel?" My reply is always, "Pregnant." hahah!
mamatess - Wednesday, 17 September Hey, how are you doing? I've been thinking of you a lot lately!
vipbaby68123 - Wednesday, 17 September what would I do without my assie buddy? (you)...
vipbaby68123 - Wednesday, 17 September hi doll! Um, they actually gave me the day off, do you believe it? I am so happy. We fiinally came to an agreement on the rest of the baby furniture, and now i am calling the MIL, and now that is done. oh, my brain. ok, go to go potty again, and find Katie something to eat.
mum4the1stTime - Wednesday, 17 September Hello dear how are you and Anastasia? I'm full now after some potato bake and steak and Ryley love it as well.. Hope all is well...
CatwithKitten - Wednesday, 17 September I have been assured that the hiccups don't hurt the baby. I just love feeling him inside me - hiccups, kicks, rolls... I try to stop and talk to him whenever I feel him, pat my belly. Won't it be great to finally hold our babies?
CatwithKitten - Wednesday, 17 September We're having a boy and have no idea what to name him! My husband and I have always liked traditional names, but I don't want him to be the only "Edward" in a classroom full of Hayden, Cayden, Aidens. So we are trying to open up to the more modern names. I don't think we will be able to choose for sure until he is born! I have been feeling hiccups for a long time, but now they make my whole belly jump. And I love when I am on the fetal monitor and there is the heartbeat which sounds like a galloping horse plus this rhythmic "Whump! Whump! Whump!" It cracks me up! Its good to know that they are not uncomfortable like we are when we get them, just working those little muscles.
CatwithKitten - Tuesday, 16 September I am pretty good! I have been here just over a week and have manage to keep myself entertained. You might notice that I am on this website A LOT! Healthwise, everything has been great. Baby is perfect. How about you? Are you having any aches and pains, trouble sleeping? Is little Anastasia kicking you? I hope you are feeling well!
vipbaby68123 - Tuesday, 16 September cracked a wobbly? Carl has not shown a very clear concept of anyone but him, lately. Its almost like, he is getting more and more freaked out the closer it gets to my due date. MIL says He'll be fine, he will come out of his "funk" or whatever it is. How unfair you are? man, can he go suck a lemon! Yeah, God would understand, we are human after all. I so want Katie to be exposed from a young age to good things. I just want her to be so happy, and so innocent (for as long as possible)...ok, food time for me and Katie. I have two clients today, the first from 1230 to 230 in the afternoon, and the second from 3-5 in the evening. and after that, I am sure I will come up with something around here that needs to be done.....
vipbaby68123 - Tuesday, 16 September the nectarines, apricots and peaches, sound so good right now! I thoughtfully write Carl up a "honey do" list...which he doesn't want to touch, til I am home for some reason? (maybe to direct him?) Yeah, my dreams are more like nightmares. On one hand, I am getting a bit more nervous about the delivery, but on the other hand, its very uncomfortable right about now, and I want her out, but healthy! Thats kind of neat and cool, about the un-needed "competition" between your MIL and your Mum. I agree about homemade/handmade items. If they made it themselves, it means alot more than any storebought anything. And how is Anastasia faring these days? It is getting into the homestretch now. oops, eventually, I 'll need to go get some food for Katie, and get the clothes from the washer into the dryer. Eventually. I will definitely eat first though, so don't worry about that!
kaharris05 - Tuesday, 16 September Thanks for your help. I'll definitely keep you in mind if I have any issues!
CatwithKitten - Tuesday, 16 September I like Kate, but what about Anastasia Cate McMillan? I think Anastasia Nicole McMillan is VERY pretty and not too long. Please do a middle name! It is so nice to have options when you get older. Anastasia is such a great name for nicknames (Ann, Ana, Annie, Stacy, Stasia) but it wouldn't hurt to have a middle name too! Thank you for asking my opinion, nobody else wants it! LOL
CatwithKitten - Tuesday, 16 September OK, I really like that you are thinking one syllable since Anastasia and McMillan are a mouthful. Jade is pretty and she will have cute initials "AJ" if she is so inclined. I would steer away from names that start with "S" or "R" because if she married a Mr. Smith or Mr. Frye she could end up with initials ASS or ARF. Claire, Eve, Jade, Jane, Kate, Quinn, Tess?
kaharris05 - Monday, 15 September Thank you! You're so sweet!! I have done kegels maybe 3 times in my life so I hope I remember to do them now.
kaharris05 - Monday, 15 September Oh wow that sucks! Thanks for the heads up!!!!
kaharris05 - Monday, 15 September Hey. I saw your post in week 6. I have a question. Are the pelvic floor exercises you're referring to the same as kegels?
lori-d - Monday, 15 September We have probably the same type of grass here. We call it crab grass. It's a monster once it is out of control! Hiccups are cute, for the first 5 minutes! ha He did it again last night. Between my ceiling fan being off balanced and making wierd noises, the dog licking himself and making wierd noises, Sami's TV being too loud in her room and Griffin having hiccups, I told TJ "I think I am going to go off the deep end!" Trying to go to sleep was a killer! So, good to know that Anastasia is moving around again. I wonder if they don't move as much becuase there isn't as much room. Have you ever felt like a "shiver"? I can't describe it...it's like a shaking movement. In my most freaky worrisome moments, I think that he is having a siezure. But I'm sure it is just a shake or something...
CatwithKitten - Monday, 15 September Beautiful name - Anastasia - how many syllables in your last name? I think you are supposed to go with one or two syllables in her middle name since Anastasia is a bit long. On the other hand, I was named Catherine Natalie and I think it rings well. then again I am used to it! Are there any family names, middle names that sound pleasant with it?
vipbaby68123 - Monday, 15 September I would have thought HE would have felt just BIT guilty, seeing you doing that. (I've been known to make carl feel guilty about something I want done...if he won't do it when I want, then I start, then I guess he feels guilty, so then he takes over)...I wish Tim was like that too. I didn't go to church sunday, too much pain walking around. ok, I've blabbed on enough, time for a warm/hot shower...
vipbaby68123 - Monday, 15 September ok, new subject, um, today after 12 noon, the company is coming back to get their cardboard boxes and packing paper, so we won't have to worry about disposing of it! I get more of my house back, that is taken up by trash! I work today from 4 pm to 9 pm, just one client. I had a horrible dream last night. I dreamed they mailed me my schedule (as normal), but the things that were on it, was like, cleaning out a garage, cleaning out a huge pool, mowing a yard, doing way up high windows (that would require the use of a ladder), scrubbing floors on hands and knees...things like that, all against the policies of where I work, not to mention against my policy right now. ok, so i'm chilly, so I'm going to go get a shower, then do some more changing of locations of boxes, I am trying to get theirs all together, make it a bit easier on them. and me, I think. oh the MIL and I had quite a conversation yesterday. I'll tell you all about it later today! it was a nice one, nice and sweet!
