Lets see...Baby Brooklyn is my wonderful daughter. I had her in March of '07! I dont think you ever truely know what love is until you have a child. It has been an amazing experience for me, one that I do not regret. Everything happens for a reason, so she was NO mistake!

Brooklyn is almost 8 months old! She is standing and crawling. She gets into EVERYTHING! Playing in the dog water is one of her favorite things to do. Brooklyn is eating stage 3 foods along with finger foods. I gave her a graham cracker for the first time last night. She loves them!! I decided to do graham cracker because they desolve a lot better than the Gerber Graduate Finger Foods. She chocked on one of those and I had to do the finger sweep on her. It was scary so I will no longer give those to her. Her favorite meat so far is turkey! I am still trying to transition her to a sippy cup. I just cant find one that she likes. I find that the exspensive ones with the no-leak valve are too hard for her to suck on. I am going to try those take & toss ones next. I heard they do leak a little but other than that the reviews are great on those. We will see! For Halloween this year she will be dressed as a black cat! We carved pumpkins this past weekend and did she ever love playing in that mess! I took her to the beach the other day too and they had a baby swing on the play ground. LOVED that swing. I will post pictures of all this too!
Also, she has TWO teeth now! She also says Mama...only when she is upset though. I just cant believe how fast she is growing up!

Brooklyn and I are both doing VERY well! She now weighs 17lbs. She has gained almost 4 pounds since being back in the States. She is eating more and more BIG people food. She LOVES them! She climbed up all the stairs for the first time about a week ago. She has also taken her FIRST steps on her own. She takes 1 or 2 steps and then falls down, not much, but its a start. Tomorrow she will be 9 months old! I have no clue where all this time goes...my little baby just keeps growing and growing =(

Brooklyn is 10 months old as of the first. She has almost mastered walking. She started walking at about 9 months. She says mama, dada(even though hes not here), baba, tries to say cat, dog, and duck and also no. LoL she gets told no no a lot. She knows what she is doing is wrong but she still does and with a HUGE grin on her face. She throws little fits, she has since about 7 months! Cant wait to get to those toddler year! Yea right...hehe. She got her third tooth in right before Christmas time. Instead of getting one of the top middle ones, she got her I tooth first. Weird but not uncommon. She is now getting the other 3 teeth along the top. She has been much more cranky this time around with teething. She is doing very well with the sippy cup. I am hoping to have her on only a sippy cup by her first birthday. We will see how that goes since she doesnt like to drink milk put of a sippy cup. Brooklym absolutly loves other little kids. The only things is that she is a huge bully! She will take whatever the kid has and then when they cry...she laughs! Her big sister used to be the same way...so I guess it runs in the family.

She now has 6 teeth...4 on top and 2 on bottom! She walks everywhere and gets into everything. She thinks its pretty funny to do something shes not supposed to and say "no" while she is doing it. I took her out to play in the snow for the first time yesterday. She loved it. She didnt want to be out there for very long though because she had not had a nap all day. After coming in from playing in the snow she had a warm bottle and passed right out. Thats about all that I can think of for right now! Here are some new pics!......

Brooklyns FIRST birthday is fastly approaching! This Saturday she will be attending her first birthday party! Her friend Mea is turning one! I have been busy getting everything in order for Brooklyns party along with packing AGAIN! Lol, I hate packing. Brooklyn got ALL of her summer clothes and shoes. It is all so cute and I cant wait for her to wear it all!! =)

We moved to North Carolina! The weather is beautiful down here! It was a last minute decision and I upset a lot of people by leaving but I wanted a fresh start in a new place. My new house is beautiful! It is a 2 story 3 bedroom 2 bath. Its huge! I also just got a job here yesterday. LOL I never would have thought I would apply here but I did and I GOT IT! I now am a Hooters Girl!! All I can say is...its GREAT money!

Yes, you'll be scared way more than she will be, haha. Jeff and I said that we weren't going to pierce Brodi's ears and let her do them later on if she wanted to. But the more I look at her, the more I want to get them pierced! Yes, there are SO many vehicles to choose from these days, make sure it's good on gas, prices here are ridiculous!!

she did cry a little bit when we got them pierced but it was more to yell at the lady that did it. Once we left the place she was fine... She was like that with her shots also, she just yells non stop at the nurse that gives her the shots until she leaves the room and then she's perfectly fine! hehe she knows how to make people feel bad...

Well the flights went kinda ok except for the fact that we missed the second one and got stuck in denver for 3 hour. Quinn did pretty good considering the fact she never had a bottle before so on the planes she was pissed for awhile. At each airport she had me hiding in the bathroom to feed her I thought breastfeeding was suppose to be easier lol. Yeah I'm totally excited about going the only place out of the us I ever been was cancun so traveling to japan should be interesting and we all finally get to be together so yay! Haha I do get homesick very easily so I know that part is going to be hard. Germany! I'm soo jealous that's one place I would really love to go.

Well we named her Quinn Grace, it took us forever to agree on Quinn he wanted Lynn so bad. She is getting so chubby she was born 6lbs 1oz and she is now 12lbs I swear all she does is eat. I'm moving to cali leaving actually tomorrow morning going to visit family until the big move. I'm so freaked out to take her on the plane for the first time.

Geez, you sound EXACTLY like me! I do NOT want to get pregnant ever again, I had the WORST pregnancy because Jeff put me through so much crap, it was ridiculous! He would go out EVERY night and leave me at home, hang out with girls he worked with and just did stupid stuff. I was so depressed. I know I never want to get pregnant again, that's why I'm trying MIRENA and so far, I'm just sick of bleeding and spotting, I haven't had a break! I have a feeling I won't have it much longer if this keeps up. I don't know what birth control I'm going to take if I get rid of the MIRENA. Such a scary thought!

Wow..you sound EXACTLY like me! I'm already tired of spotting but am too scared to get it removed so soon because I do NOT want to get pregnant again using the pill. I said I'd try MIRENA for a while and see how my body handled it but I don't know how much more I can take...

Thank you so much for commenting on your experience with Mirena. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and my strings were also cut pretty short and my boyfriend says he can feel the strings too. I've been spotting for a while now and not sure how much more I can take...not sure what I should do at this point.

I know the last time I talked to you I was pretty bummed cuz we basically found out it was going to be impossible... well I guess miracles do happen because Thursday night he came home.... so...I've been a BIT BUSY! :-) Anyway, I'll be sure to give you a call when things start progressing with Melanie. No new news yet and I haven't been back to the dr to know if I'm progressing. I am definitely getting more and more uncomfortable but that's to be expected... no progress in the last 2 wks... still 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. We set up an induction date for Jan 28th at 6pm if she's not here before then... i'll be 12 days overdue at that point... I can handle that. gives john some extra time to get transferred. I got a letter from him today!!! I guess he traded his dinner twice to get a piece of paper and an envelope... :-( it was the best letter ever tho and I cried throughout the whole thing... He's so great! anyway, I'm staying positive (well, trying).. I'll talk to you soon. I'll let you know if I find out anything new...

haha same with me!!! my butt is huge considering i had like no ass b4 i got preggo! i like having a butt except some of my old jeans cant even come up over my butt lol and yeah same thing happened to my boobs, theyre not flat or anything but about a cup size smaller, im probably a B now. i always thought ur boobs got BIGGER after having kids lol...how come our moms got them big boobs?? haha
And Chandler is doing great..shes so strong! already lifts her head all by herself and can sit pretty well when holding her

haha yeah, I went from a DD to an A also... I'm getting a boob job after baby # 2- my husband and I have everything planned out haha... it's not because I want to look plastic, I just hate the way they look... the fullness is gone... :( makes me sad... I was a C before I breastfed Annabelle- and only for a month! So basically, that's what I want. I probably won't have the guts to go through with it, but we'll see! I just ready your update, and I am so happy to hear that your hubby is trying to make changes, and for himself first, then everyone else. That should bring some longevity right there, but who am I to preach about it haha Melissa and I will both be at Ft.Bragg and I am SOOO excited to meet her! She is not only gorgeous, but funny, sweet, and down to earth- the world needs more girls like that! Brooklyn is just the most adorable little girl, have you ever considered having her do baby modeling? When did she start teething, bc Annabelle is drooling waterfalls of saliva, and she is gnawing on everything. My mom said she's probably starting the teething process. I bet you are so excited for Brooklyn's first birthday. Those are always the most special :-) Well, I have to get going, baby is sleeping which means time for me to sleep too haha Keep in touch!

I wish i could have had a c section early on! I would have avoided getting stretch marks on my stomach, i never had ANY at 40 weeks.. but in my 42nd week i woke up in the morning one day and they had just appeared! i mean i have seen worse, mine arnt too bad- i could probably get away with a bikini now that im 8 months post partum but geez. Your lucky. I was small like you hah.. but once you go overdue you just get huge, Danielle was 8.2 lbs Her father missed the birth because he was in Canada. He came to Australia though when She was 8 weeks old for afew months. But it never worked out. I know how it feels to be a single Mum.

Her name is Danielle, and she is a cutey but when i saw your little girl my god i thought she just has the most adorable little cheeky smile. I know everyone thinks their baby is the cutest baby ever ( including me ) but i really do think that your little girl somehow just stands out more than other babies.
