Let me start by telling you my background this is technically my 2nd pregnancy last year @ 25 years old and i got pregnant for the first time in august 06 at my almost 15 week checkup they could not find the baby's heartbeat, they tried with a doppler and then did 3 u/s and pronounced the baby dead, they said i was too far along to have a d&c preformed and that it would be better for me to be induced and deliver the baby. on Nov. 30th i gave birth to a baby boy about the size of my hand and i will never forget that day for as long as i live. id been walking around in a state of confusion and grief for months because they hadnt found out the reason why this had happened. first the autopsy came back normal, then the genetic testing done on the fetus came back normal, i was overcome with more grief knowing my baby was fine and now hes dead. so the next step was for me to get tested for blood clotting disorders, i got tested and waited for the results for 2 weeks. Turns out i had what they call PAI-1 4G/5G, which means one of my alleles was mutated from birth , which means i have a higher chance of developing clots and when im pregnant clots form in the placenta and stop blood flow from getting to the fetus so then it dies.

so now i have to be on a daily injection of blood thinners in order to try to keep this pregnancy going. needless to say im extemely nervous about this pregnancy and very anxious. we didnt plan on getting pregnant again this soon but now that i am im hoping and praying for my miracle baby.

I post a weekly vlog about my weightloss journey and now that im pregnant ill vlog about my pregnancy. check me out on youtube! http://youtube.com/profile?user=vlo1125

She is doing good, well her skull isnt fused but her skull is overlapped on the soft spot so we have to be careful with her head, since the soft spots i learned work as little shock absorbers, the doctors will continue to monitor her to make sure they dont start fusing.. I was thinking about the IUD too, but ive heard soo many bad things about it,,, im scared too right now were resorting to the pull out method, .. I know NOT GOOD!! Ophelia is precious..I bet you are sooo in love,, I am.. Hows your hubby, is he just as great as a dad as he is a hubby?

I had a c-section and I didn't quite wait so long. 4 weeks and mine felt the same way. The whole session lasted a couple seconds and boy did it hurt. Let's just say your husband will love it. Mine has been stalking me around the house every since.

Sahana's haematoma is so much better. it was the size of a tennis ball when she was born. Its barely there now. Not completely vanished as yet. but i do see progress.

Will keep you in my prayers.

i had a vag delivery with my first and had the same thing. the first time we had sex afterwards was 6 weeks and it felt like a 12 years olds vagina! it was very tender and had to be "retrained" as i would call it. after a few times it went back to normal and my dh said it looked the same as before so i think it is just one of those things

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Monday, 11 August
Just wanted to find out about the little one's Haematoma. Is it clearing up?

Much love and prayers.

beebop - Monday, 11 August
How's things going? Did you get a second opinion and if so, what happened?

notimecj - Saturday, 9 August
By the way the condition is called craniosynostosis

notimecj - Saturday, 9 August
Yes,it is somewhat correctable but of course it requires surgery, and it just depends on the seriousness of the condition if there is any permanent malformation of the head or developmental damage,, I am really scared, her xrays were conflicting so Monday she will need to go for a cat scan, I have been soo worried! I really hope its nothing, but whatever it is, I love my little girl!!!

notimecj - Thursday, 7 August
Hey I dont mean to scare you at all but have the ped check the babies head again, It turns out the ridges turned out to be cause for concern and Khloe was sent for x-rays yesterday, they think her skull might be fusing too early... Just in case I doubt it has anything to do with the lovenox and im sure its an individual case, but i guess its better to be safe (and overly paranoid) than sorry.. Hows everything by the way? Can you believe we finally have our little ones!!???

oopspregnantagain - Wednesday, 6 August

My doctor said mine wasn't thrush and that it was just milk also. But mine wouldn't come off also. But I started getting painful nipples, so just to be safe I got the threatment. I've been going it for 4 days and it's seemed to clear up some, but he still has a diaper rash. Maybe I need to change him for often. I feel like i'm going threw diapers left and right already though.

i have more pics of lula on myspace. haven't been on here much, so i haven't really updated anything. you and the only 2 other people i talk to on here are on my myspace now anyway...my husband starts work tomorrow and i'm so nervous to be home alone without him all day. he worls 12-14 hour shifts. it's good, because we need him back at work, but it makes me wish i had a network here. tis whole experience totally makes me want to move someplace that is closer to family and/or friends. it's awesome breast feeding is going well for you--so many people have trouble with it. damn ophelia is cute.

jjrooks - Thursday, 31 July
I breast feed and formula feed when I'm out. I don't feel comfortable whipping it out either, so I give mine formula when we're out. The Dr. told me that was fine, because he's mostly getting breast milk. Maybe I'm just lucky that my boy will take both, but you may want to try it. Plus He'll have to get used to it when I return to work.

It's a iffy. I noticed my son's tongue was white about a week before my nipples got sore. I wish I would have realized what it was then. I think it got really bad because I wore my breast pads over night and the moisture allowed the yeast that was present on my nipples to grow. My pads smelled pretty bad when I finally took them off because of the milk leaking the next day. The diaper rash makes me suspect thrush. But the ointment that they give you is just to coat the skin until it gets better. Even thought I think it does have an anti fungal ingredient in it also. Can you scrape the white on her tongue away. If not I would probable ask the pet about it. Because it could just be in the early stages. Shine a light in her mouth or get in a really well lit area. Put your thumb on her chin and press down. She will open her mouth. Get a good look at her gums and cheeks. Does she have any white there? Sometimes those patches are harder to see in dim light. I didn't even see the rash on my son bottom until I was in the light was was shining in threw the sliding door.

Oh, and I make sure I wash his face with just warm water too every night...I try to wipe it down once a day, if I think about it...

BabyBennett - Tuesday, 29 July
I WISH I got 3 to 4 oz per session! I get about three quarters of an ounce per session. :) Anna is eating about 3oz every two to three hours during the day and the same amount every five or six hours at night. As long as Ophelia is not crying or rooting between feedings, I'd say your fine. If Anna wants more, she'll cry and turn her mouth towards my finger if I rub it on her cheek.

This is probably going to sound a little wierd, but, Kaden had baby acne BAD about a week ago...and I read on here that someone had used Cod Liver Oil to get rid of it...So I tried it and it worked...it took about a week, but it's almost all gone. You can either get liquid or the gel tablets and poke a hole in them and rub it on the bottom of baby's feet and then put socks on them. I do it at night before he goes to bed...it's really wierd, but it has worked.

babygal187 - Tuesday, 29 July
More than likely that's what is it. I'm treating my son for thrush right now and his only symptom is what looks like milk on the tongue and he has a diaper rash. I posted something about this a couple days ago. My first son got it as a new born and that's how I knew what I was looking at this time. I realized that whenever there is diaper rash that you should also treat them for thrush. Even if there is nothing in their mouth. It's all connected because the thrush runs threw the digestive system and that's how the baby get diaper rash. It also makes your nipples sort when they breast feed. I'm facing that now and boy does it hurt. Glad I caught it early. I knew the antibiotics they were giving me in the hospital where going to mess my system up. And when you have a baby, they load you up with antibiotics in the hospital.

feltkoo23 - Tuesday, 29 July
On the trush issue. According to my doctor, it isn't thrush until it reaches the checks and the gums. But in order to be thrush it has to not come off. My pedi advises me to take a wet wash cloth and gently wipe the inside of my babies month a few times aday. If when you go to wipe off the milk and it doesn't come off then you have thrush. And it is easily cared for with antibiotics so no need to panic. Hope all is well. Take care.
