Let me start by telling you my background this is technically my 2nd pregnancy last year @ 25 years old and i got pregnant for the first time in august 06 at my almost 15 week checkup they could not find the baby's heartbeat, they tried with a doppler and then did 3 u/s and pronounced the baby dead, they said i was too far along to have a d&c preformed and that it would be better for me to be induced and deliver the baby. on Nov. 30th i gave birth to a baby boy about the size of my hand and i will never forget that day for as long as i live. id been walking around in a state of confusion and grief for months because they hadnt found out the reason why this had happened. first the autopsy came back normal, then the genetic testing done on the fetus came back normal, i was overcome with more grief knowing my baby was fine and now hes dead. so the next step was for me to get tested for blood clotting disorders, i got tested and waited for the results for 2 weeks. Turns out i had what they call PAI-1 4G/5G, which means one of my alleles was mutated from birth , which means i have a higher chance of developing clots and when im pregnant clots form in the placenta and stop blood flow from getting to the fetus so then it dies.

so now i have to be on a daily injection of blood thinners in order to try to keep this pregnancy going. needless to say im extemely nervous about this pregnancy and very anxious. we didnt plan on getting pregnant again this soon but now that i am im hoping and praying for my miracle baby.

Hey, I was just reading your post regarding the
flea and tick meds. Try not to let them sleep in your bed for 1 night.....I know it's hard because I'm sure they are spoiled ;o) Just the mine. I was told by the vet that I shouldn't put the meds on him and to avoid the area. Good luck ;o)

Well Briannah arrived, and I am cannot be happier. She arrived 06/25, at 2:51 am, she weighed 6lbs 14 ounces, 18 & 1/2 inches long. She is perfect and will post pics and entire story very soon. Hope all is well with you.

Well doc said she can come on her own tonight. I am actively contracting, still continuing to dilate, and almost completely thinned out. Then about an hour ago i lost my mucus plug. Doc said that my cervix is as ripe as can be, so I am taking the day off tommorow, and gonna try and get things really moving. Ohh and my blood pressure is a little elevated, and I have to go back to docs is 2 days if she does not come on her own. Are you on maternity leave yet?

They are supposed to be manually dilating me tonight @ 5:45, if I have not progressed past the 3 centimeters that I have been at for almost two weeks. Now, with that said my doc also said that if I have made progress on my own he is not sure what he is gonna do. So if you do not see me logged in past 8:00 I am havin a baby, and will post as soon as I get t chance. What is the lastest with you? Did you doc set a date for induction? How have you been feeling? I am so freakin miserable, and I feel very guilty. I wanted this baby so badly, but now all I can do is complain about being miserable. Well keep me posted

I say keep the little babies inside of you as long as possible because you are right. It is a terrible feeling leaving your baby in a strange place with strangers. I was crying hysterical today when I went to say goodbye to him. I even have tears in my eyes right now thinking about him. But I have to believe he is in good hands and that God is watching over him. I do have the number to the nursery, which I can call 24hrs., and which is open 24 hrs, (so we can literally go see him at any time, but the hospital is 1/2 hour away from us). I am going to call in about a half hour and I am sure I will call in the middle of the night sometime to check on him. Hopefully you will hang in there another few weeks and you take your little girl home with you!

When I got to the hospital they did a blood platelet count to see if it was safe to get the epidural. Well the time everything went to the lab and came back, and the time they called anesthesiology and they arrived, it was 11:45pm and i was dilated to like a 9. They put it in but it didn't get a chance to work. It was pulled out from me right after I delivered about 12:30. I have experienced labor contractions, but not near the end and I have been COMPLETELY numb with both of my other births when it came to the pushing and actual delivery. This was quite an experience! I'll let ya know when he comes home! Hopefully it will be soon!

I had my little boy on Monday, he was 4 weeks early. his cord was wrapped around his neck twice but he is perfect and we went home together on Wednesday

hey there, i've been using the lanolin for three months now, want to be extra sure i don't get cracked nipples, hehe, i use my hair-dryer to heat it up before i use it, makes it alot easier to apply :) hope it helps, hugs

I know, and I dont know where it came from. This isnt who he is. He seems a LOT happier today though, so I hope that he will be okay. I know he is super stressed out but he really shouldnt take it out on the kids or me!
