Saturday, 19 July Hi, I am only at week 16 but I wanted to tell you to tell your hubby he is not alone. I am not feeling any movements yet but I have a doppler and when I use it it takes like one second to get a strong heartbeat, but the minute my hubby comes in the baby starts moving around so you can't hear it. When I am alone baby never does that. So my hubby can never hear heartbeat, funny. It's like a car that is broken the minute you want someone else to notice it it stops. Poor hubbys LOL. sentfromheaven -

Tuesday, 15 July Hey, I was just reading your post and I'd like to share that I feel the same way about the kicks. Sometimes I feel her movement near my belly buton but the majority of the movement is ver low and it is a strange feeling. I love when I feel her punching up high, but when she kicks low it makes me cringe a little. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels a bit guilty about that! Haha...and those feelings down low are strong! Kicks, she's in a breech position now so her feet are doing all the work!
Hope you feel better soon! Take care...

Monday, 14 July Hey there i read your post and just wanted to let you know keep your head high and smile..I have complete placenta previa means no chance of it going back into place. i am already off of work and on mild best rest...finally the bleeding has stopped but if it comes back i'll be admitted to the hospital...the cramping that your feeling is because of your hips expanding at this stage which is quite normal. And you feeling the baby below and just above the pubic bone is the hands i just found out what it was at my last ultrasound that that is what it is...and the tech told me a lot of women ask that. So keep smiling girl all will be well, babydoll24 -
Tuesday, 8 July congrats on yours little girl!!
this placenta previa thing seems pretty common considering i've never heard of it until my doctor told me last week i have it. Now thats all i hear about from everyone.!!!
just try not to worry about it too much, in most cases it fixes itself on its own before its time for baby to be here. keeping my fingers crossed!!!
good luck! schnookie -

Tuesday, 8 July congrats on your little girl! Are they sending you for a level II ultrasound for the placenta previa???? They though I had it too, I was spotting, but I had a level II and found out it was just low-lying placenta (not quite placenta-previa). I haven't had any bleeding in 3 weeks and before I had it 3 times in 2 weeks, but it was very mild spotting, brown, old blood. I did quite a bit of research on it and the statistics are VERY GOOD that it will resolve itself by d-day. In the meantime, I presume you are on pelvic rest, also just take it easy, don't do much lifting if you can help it and stay off your feet as much as possible. Most likely you will have a little spotting, but probably not any major bleeding. Just be sure to call your doctor if you bleed at all, even spotting, ESPECIALLY if you are RH- as you will need a Rogham shot if you have any bleeding at all. Sure the doc told you all this, but it helped me to find out info on my own. Give me a shout if you need to talk about it or have any questions. Again, congrats on your girl! ferma -

Wednesday, 11 June i get terrible allergies in the summer and i swear by Tylenol Sinus which conveniently enough is perfectly ok to take while we're pregnant. btw safefetus.com is an amazing website for finding out info for all drugs during pregnancy. hope it helps! christina08baby -
Wednesday, 11 June My midwife says it's ok to take claritin. So, I take it alot when my allergies are acting up. CrystalBall77 -
Tuesday, 10 June Hello.. sorry to hear you are not feeling well.. I went through this a little over a month ago.. So what I did, and it helped me was.. I bought some nettle leaf tea, which is a natural way to break up mucus, and i did nasal flushes over the sink.. you take a small bowl and put some warm water in it with a little bit of salt.. to taste like a tear, and you just breathe it in and let it drain down to the back of your nasal passages to your mouth and spit it out. It takes a few minutes to get up the nerve to do it, but once you do the difference is unmistakable.. do this a couple times a day and you should be feeling better in no time.. Added bonus, both are NON TOXIC to the baby and have no side effects... It really helped relieve my symptoms and I hope it works for you as well. Good Luck and Congrats on the baby... lucy1979 -
Friday, 6 June Hi Vikkie it's Lucy, thought I would log on to this site like you suggested, my work colleague Hazel is also going to join. Hope you're feeling well today, I'm fine - no morning sickness at all yet - but I'm only 6 weeks, can't really remember when it kicked in with Oliver - this is will be soon though.
Take care x
