Aidan's Birth Story~~
We went in to the hospital on Wed June 25th at 7:30am. I was 2 cen. Dr inserted gel to help dilate my cervix. I responded quite well. He broke my water at noon when I was almost 4 cen. An hour later I was checked again due to my very strong contractions, I was at 6 cen. The dr said that I shouldn't read into it and to save my energy as he was certain that I was going to be in labor a lot longer. I heeded his warning and due to the contractions being very strong and hard to breath through I opted out and got a dose of Fentynol. Which took the edge off for about an hour. After that hour my contractions got MUCH worse, the nurse checked me and I was 100% effaced and 8 cen dilated. I had a massive urge to push, Dr came and checked. He said hang in there and left... hehe. He was still certain that baby was going to be awhile. Due to my contractions being incredibly strong the nurses knowing that the baby was coming allowed me to push myself to 10 cen. So I did. Not strong pushes but within 3 of them I was at 10 cen and Dr had to come back to deliver. It was great. Once I was at 10 I pushed for about 30 mins and out came the wonderfully handsome Aidan James. Weighing in at 9lbs 9oz and 22 inches long he couldn't be more perfect. He arrived on 6-25 at 6:25pm
After birth my uterus stopped fuctioning for a bit and caused very large clots to arise. This causing my blood pressure to drop severely, however dr was fortunate enough to be able to push out my clots without having to go in and get them. So I recovered quickly. Baby Aidan, Mommy and Daddy are quite happy.

My name is Bekah Joy. My husband and I are getting ready for the arrival of our first child! We are having a boy and are very excited!

I had a very easy first trimester, no sickness whatsoever!

My 2nd trimester was good, went by super fast! Started feeling baby move around 18 weeks, felt the first few kicks around 20 weeks.

3rd trimester has been so very wonderful so far. I absolutely love feeling the baby move all day. Acid reflux is really bad but what can you do. Mylanta is my friend :)

We are looking forward to becoming a family as we have been best friends for 12 years, married for 2. Becoming a family has been a dream of ours for quite some time.
