January 1st 2008

Well! I am getting induced on the 7th of Jan !!! Unless of course our young lady decides to make an appearanc eon her own! I hope so she is very stubborn! O it is just 6 sleeps for me at the very most! Yay! I am so looking forward to seeing her!

December 30th 2007

Well tomorrow is my due date and there is no sign of Lucy (apart from the obvious, kicking, sore groin and heartburn!!!) I just wish she would come out already! I am trying so hard to just relax and wait but my husband is sooo depserate for her to come he keeps getting down on belly level and telling her to coem out. I feel like i am not performing or something! He also doesn't want to go back to work and get into the new year and then I have the baby and he is off work again.It wil all be fine I keep telling him she wil come when she comes! I am still really happy with the weight I gained this pregnancy - as they havn't weighed me I don't know what I put on in kilos BUT I tried on a pair of jeans that I had to stop wearing during my last pregnancy at 34 weeks and they kept falling down infact I couldn' t even take a step without them falling off! So I am happy witht that! My midwife appointment is tomorrow so we shall see what they say about inducement! Hope you are all doing well!

December 6th 2007

Well everyone we are getting to the pointy end of the whole deal now! Today I found out our little Lucy is engaged (my husband is horrified when I say that - I don't think he ever wants our girls to get engaged!) but this means that we are well on our way now - feels REALLY real now! My little Ella has been kissing my belly every ngiht and saying "Ni Ni Lucy". We ahve nick named Lucy Goose. I have been having accupunture for my swelling and I can't beleive it actually works! My feet don't get nearly as bad now! All I want to eat is curry curry curry! I have worked really hard this pregnancy not to put on too much weight as last time I BLEW out big time and ate everything in sight and geez I got super fat. This time had been much better, I eat fruit mostly when I am craving sweets and the worste binge I have had is a bag of violet crumbles. This may seem trivial to others but this is a big deal for me! Well just over 4 weeks to go (hopfully a little less!)

November 13th 2007!

Well nearly there! Can't beleive we are getting this close. My little girl is kicking me so hard now that I sometimes I can be walking along and I can't help but let out a yelp in pain. I think she keeps getting her feet stuck up under my ribs and it makes me draw breath so fast! I have decided to have accupuncture to start labour (if I don't start on my own that is!) I really don't want another drug induced labour they suck!

20th October 2007

This is my second baby! I have a 2.5 year old little girl (pocket rocket!). My husband and I had been trying for a while for this baby and lost one early this year so we are just sooooo excited that we are expecting again and nearly there!!!! 11 weeks!! We are having a girl! We have already named her Lucy Gabrielle - can't wait to meet her!
