We have been together for nearly 4 years and since the beginning his mom, 2 bros, and sis really have made it clear that I am not part of the family, nor will I ever be. Maybe because I was divorced with 2 kids, dunno. We ended it before because I couldn't handle it and then I decided its their loss and I want him not them! I am just sick of her rude comments to and about me and my kids. It's funny because I never had inlaw type problems with my ex hubby, this is all new to me.

I think we have a lot in common! My son is 13 months too! He is a handful! I had a c-section as well the first time and I am not sure if I should try for a VBAC this time? I was just under 12 weeks at my last sonogram and I thought I should ask just in case the tech was even willing to look. First she said it is way too early when she looked while doing the regular belly ultrasound. Then, she did the transvaginal ultrasound at the end and when she looked she got a clear shot of the baby's butt view. That's when she said looks like 80% girl to me bc she saw 3 white lines. I am so confused bc I want a little girl so bad, but I don't want to feel devasted if the tech was wrong, afterall I was not even 12 weeks yet. I am trying to convince my husband to go with me to get a gender determination ultrasound before 20 weeks. They have places that will do it as early as 16 weeks. Good Luck next week!

It is so hard for me to drink water everyday I have to force my self to just drink it because if I dont I get dehydrated does anyone else have this problem with drinking water? I drink 2 bottles of water each day and that keeps me good but if I go without water for 1 day or maybe 2 days I get dehydrated.

I know, sometimes those techs are so burnt out they don't even care! Fortunately my best friend is one so we went to her pro bono. At first the baby was sleeping but she took her time and waited for it to roll over and spread em! lol I couldn't be happier. Now I will have a son AND a daughter!

thanks for the reply. I heard the fast heart rate/girl thing, too, and research online says it's an old wives tale. I just found out I am having a girl, though, so who really knows?

lol, it's SO hard to be patient! They checked gender at my NT scan today and the tech said she's pretty positive that it's a boy (lol, she even said he's got a big one ~ my hubby will be so proud). Good luck to you :)

Hi, saw your post on the 13month forum. My kid, Zach, is also the same way. I've had to try a number of different tricks like putting a cheerio on top of a spoonful of other food or... letting him feed himself other food that he loves (like fruit) and shoving mouthfuls in while he's concentrating on picking up and eating the other food or. If you know of any other tricks, please let me know!

Hi everyone. I haven't been able to access this website for the last couple of days. I even tried at work and it didn't work so something is wrong with it. Hopefully the problem is resolved. My whole family is sick with swine flu and so I've been busy. So far I am the only healthy one left and I picked up Tamiflu yesterday just in case I come down with it over the weekend. Of course the mail is picking up now for the Holiday season and so my days are full enough without coming home to a sick family. I am exhausted and going to bed but I'm usually up by 6am and so will return messages in the morning while sipping my coffee. Love to you all!

Hi there!! I do have pictures but I can't seem to figure out how to scan them on to my computer ( and have them look 1/2 way decent ). DO you have any pointers, can they put them on discs or what? Well if I could explain to you what to look for I would say... Look for 3 small lines in the genitil region. So if you Dr. could get a butt shot and see 3 lines that's a good sign for a girl. Good luck hon!! =)
