A Little about me. I am 34 years old and been married one year to my best friend. My husband is a wonderful person. I was lucky to find him. Snag him, and marry him.

We were married on March 3, 2007. What a wonderful day. I thought, what can top this, we are young married professionals. Then sure enough, about 3 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. Hold the phone: pregnant? How? I just got married? but sure enough the little pink line was strong on all 4 pregnancy tests I took. How exciting. We started with our family plans almost immediately, thinking of names, color schems for the nursary, telling friends and family. We were so excited about this new addition to our already happy lives.

Then around Easter, my back started to hurt to a point it left me laid up. The cramping began that night, and by the next morning the spotting. I went to the dr. who could not detect a heartbeat but would not say the word miscarriage, even though in my heart I already knew. I must have gone to the OBGYN everyday that week for blood tests and US's. Crying because I just wanted them to give me an answer so we could grieve or celebrate or whatever.

Then sure enough, they said that awful word. Miscarriage. Even though I knew it was hard to hear. All those plans, all that hope. Gone.

My husband and I decided, let's try again, even though we were caught off gaurd with this pregnancy, we were obviously ready. SO we tried. Now I mean we TRIED..talking themometers, charts, calanders, ovulation kits, cervical mucus. Nothing. A whole year went by and I just kept getting more and more upset when each month my period would appear.

In Feb I felt this horrible horrible pain. Ended up in the ER. KIDNEY STONE. Size of a dime. Well, had to have a lithotripsy to break it up because that sucker is too big to pass. Scheduled it for March 3rd. My first year wedding anniversary. I mean, I knew I would be on my back that day, but I thought it would be under better circumstances. So instead, we had to celebrate on the 2nd. Had my lithotripsy the next day. On March 10th the xray showed that little stone did not break. Dr. Said that I would have to stop trying to get pregnant until we got this stone situation undercontrol. So, we did. No more Fun. had no fun since the 2nd. Had a 2nd lithotripsy scheduled for March 23rd.

March 23. Sitting on the cot in the Dr. office drugged up on morphine and phenergan preparing for the procedure. When all of a sudden the nurse walks in and says: well, someone has been a bad girl. Blood test came back positive for PREGNANCY!!! I was floored what? I stopped trying, I was not allowed, I WAS SO HAPPY.

THat happy feeling lasted all of one week, when I ended up bleeding. With cramping. When they did an US they could not find anything in the Gestational sac. This time they started throwing around the term ectopic in my face. For 3 days this went on. Then on the 3rd day: there it was...a heartbeat in the gestational sac!!

So, we are back to making our plans. Baby names, color schemes, and telling our friends and family. What a crazy year it has been. But we could not be happier.
