Hello all!
I am pregnant with my third child, but my boyfriends first. He is the love of my life and I am honored to give him his first child! He is going to be the best daddy! We are so excited! I have two other children~ both girls~ Kaitlyn who is 13 and Kaycee who is 8. They are overjoyed as well! They are from my previous marriage. I got pregnant with my first daughter at the age of 15. It was not planned, but I wouldn't change it for the world! I truly believe she was sent to me by God to guide my path in life! Because of having a child at 16 years old, I took extra classes through a junior college and graduated high school a whole year early and went right on to college to study nursing. I continued straight through until I graduated with my bachelors in nursing and have been a registered nurse for about 8 years!

Well, I figured I would start somewhat of a journal. I am 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. I have my next MD appt Friday 1/25. Probably going to be just a quick check-up, but I am not sure.
I took the Intelligender test when I was approximately 12 weeks. It totally revealed a "BOY" result.... Not taking too much into that.... Waiting ever so patiently for the next ultrasound!
I have been having some sharp pains in my lower abdomen since yesterday. They have been coming and going, but VERY alarming! I am debating on whether to call my OB/GYN..... It feels as though something is ripping itself away from the inside of my lower abdominal wall. No bleeding or other symptoms though... Back spasms are better today and so far no headache :) YAY!!!
I guess we will wait to see if it gets worse....
OKAY.....
So I called the doctor and he had me go to the hospital for a urinalysis and so they could check fetal heart tones.
Everything was normal!!!! YAY!!! Baby's heartbeat was good and strong and no urinary tract infection....
BUT I am still having the pains! He put me on bedrest for the rest of the weekend and I am supposed to go see him on Monday if pains are still there.....

Yay, here I am week 16! I must say this pregnancy has been quite the adventure for me! I have been so stinkin' tired the whole time so far, but all blood work is normal! I also have been extremely nauseous, not a lot of throwing up, just constant nausea! It finally has started slowing down within the last week or so. The pains I was experiencing have not happened since Saturday morning. I go to the doctor on Friday this week. I am hoping he does an ultrasound, but I doubt he will.... :)

Well, today I go to the DR for a regular check-up. I called yesterday to see what they would be doing because if I was going to have an ultrasound, I was taking my girls to it! BUT, no ultrasound this time around. Most likely next one will be at my next visit when I am about 21-23 weeks along... WE CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT WHAT WE ARE HAVING!!!!!
Okay.... Went to doctor and everything is great! Baby's heart rate is 140. Uterus is where it is supposed to be! I get my US on 2/22 and hopefully babe will cooperate for us to know if we need to get pink or blue! :)

So, the past few days have been challenging... Not pregnancy wise, but otherwise. My oldest daughter is leaving for Florida for Nationals competiton for her Poms squad! I don't know what to do! I have never been that far away from her! I drop her off at the airport at 4:30 this evening... :( I hope I can control the hormones! lol....
February 7, 2008
Last night was horrible! I could not sleep for anything! I was up about every hour! The baby wanted to party in the womb all night I guess! lol... Needless to say baby has been pretty quiet all day except for a few movements! Well, I guess so after being up ALL night long.... :)
I am 18 weeks and 2 days and still patiently waiting for my ultrasound on 2/22! I am trying really hard to wait and not go get a 3d scan done, but those are soooo tempting!
February 13
So, yesterday I received a phone call that they had to move my ultrasound from the 22nd of this month to.... TOMORROW!!!! I am so excited and can hardly wait! I thought I couldn't sleep before, wait til tonight! lol....
Hope and pray with me that baby Warwick cooperates and we can see what we are expecting!
As for how I am feeling these days.... Great! I have really pretty much gotten rid of the sickness feeling! I only have it from time to time, but VERY rarely now! Like I get it when I brush my teeth sometimes, or when my dog decides to drink her water too fast and gets sick after.... lol
Feeling baby move, not as much as at first, but definitely still feeling flutters! It is the best feeling in the world! It is my favorite part of being pregnant! Ooooohhhh... just felt the little one give me a nudge... The babe must know I am talking about him/her.... ;)
February 14
Guess what?!?!? Doctor says it is a..... GIRL (90% sure)!!!
I guess I am made to raise girls... :) Atleast I can call her by her name now! Paityn Joe.... Joe is being spelled that way in honor of a friend we lost due to a tragic car accident.....
February 28
Well, I am 22 weeks and 2 days now. Still doing pretty well with the morning sickness (Thank the Lord!!) Getting more and more impatient as the days go by.... I am totally enjoying my pregnancy, but boy do I ever want to hold her in my arms! I am so excited and can hardly stand the wait...
I am feeling more movement than ever now!
April 8
I am 28 weeks today!!!! I am getting bigger and bigger and lovin every minute of her movements! She likes nights the best... My girls are getting so excited and so are Zack and I! I keep hoping I have a nice and FAST labor!
April 11
Well, last night I lost some of my mucous plug! I am only 28 weeks.... And I was having some contractions this morning! NOT good! I went into preterm labor with my second daughter and had to be put on brethine for awhile. I started with preterm labor with her around 28-29 weeks as well!
So I called my doctor and went to see the nurse practioner and she said my cervix is VERY low! Yikes! That is probably why I am having so much pressure "down there"! Anyways, I am not dilating yet thank the Lord!
I left the MD and went to get some lunch and then returned back to work. The nurse practioner then called to tell me she talked it over with my doctor and he wants me to start on weekly progesterone shots! UGH!!! But if that is what keeps our little Paityn from not arriving too early, then so be it! I will do anything to have a healthy rest of my pregnancy and baby!
April 17
I just got back from the dr and guess what.... I FREAKIN FAILED MY 1 HOUR GLUCOSE SCREEN!!!! Now I have to go for a 3 hour one! I can't imagine having to give myself insulin and take progesterone shots too! Hopefully if I fail the 3 hour one, I will be able to control it with diet.... UGH!!!!
May 16
Well, FINALLY we have had great news all week! First off I would like to say I passed my 3 hour glucose test!!! AND Zack got a job after being laid off for 3 months!!! We are so excited! :)
June 5
I just got back from the dr office and found out I am 1 to 1.5 cm dilated!!!! Yay!!! Atleast I am starting something! I have one more progesterone shot to go according to the nurse practitioner, but last week my dr said I would be having three more (including the one I got today). So we will have to see!
June 12
Okay, so back from the doc office and it looks like I am the same! Well, unfortunately no more dilation as of yet! I am disappointed, I want her here now! Hopefully I will be able to go for long walks in the next week and something will come of those! I am so tired and just ready to be done! There is one good thing, he DID NOT give me another progesterone shot! So that was a positive note..... Hope she decides to make her appearance soon! UGH!
ChildBirth.org predicts.......
Congratulations!
You have a 73% chance of having a boy.
And you have a 26% chance of having a girl.
Sex Ratio predictor......
Thought I would do this for fun... I hope the gender part is wrong, but only because I was told it was a girl and I would feel really bad talking about "her (Paityn Joe)" if babe is really a "boy (Rylan Joseph)"!!!!!
Madame Zaritska's reading
Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.
What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive at night.
After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and will be 18-1/2 inches long. This child will have hazel eyes and some blond hair.
But there is more. I sense that you wonder if you will have a difficult time during labor and birth. Why don't you go listen to an actual birth? It may give you some encouragement!
I'm just so anxious to meet her! 9 months is too long to be preggers!
lol
Are you guys all ready for her to come? I know if our baby came now we would be a mess! :) But I'd still be excited! I can't imagine doing this for 5+ more weeks! But it looks like I will be!
