Me and my husband got married in June and we are ttc. I am excited, but it is also stressful and daunting to look at negative hpt's every month. I know we have only been trying for 5 months, but I am just so anxious for it to happen. If anyone else is in this same situation, let me know:)

So today was my 32nd day of my cycle and still no AF! I average around 30 days (28-32) so after today, I will officially be "late"!! The not so great news is that I took a hpt yesterday and got a BFN! UGH! Hopefully it was just too early! I would love to be able to tell everyone over the holidays!

I am officially late! I have not seen AF yet and I hope that I won't. It is nerve racking, I am just waiting for her to be there when I use the bathroom! I am really tired though, and I know that is a good sign, but I am not getting anything done. I took another hpt and again, BFN....I think that I am just going to wait a little while before taking another one. It is just so hard to wait! Days seem to be crawling by!

11/28

Took another test today (I couldn't wait) and saw a very faint line. I don't know if I should get my hopes up or not. I am late with no AF, but don't want to get all excited if it is for nothing! But I am hopeing and praying!!!
I called my doctor today and they are sending me to get a blood test! I get to go to outpatient instead of having to make an appointment, and get my results tomorrow. This is going to be the longest night ever!! My husband is coming back from a business trip tomorrow and I am hoping to surprise him with the news! I am so excited! I have been counting down the hours just to take the test!

So I got my test results back today...It took forver. I called at 1:00 and it was only a machine and I kept calling. I called for 2 hours and nothing, so I ended up being transfered to the receptionist who transfered me again. After being transfered and calling back only to go through 2 other people, I got my results and it was a positive!!!!! I was kinda shocked, I didn't really think it would happen! I almost started crying, but I was driving. I am so excited! I am waiting for my hubby to get home and am going ot surprise him! I got a little "I love Daddy" bib and some booties that are laying there for him. I can't wait!!
12/03

We got to tell out parents over the weekend and they were SOO excited! My mom screamed and jumped up and down and cryed and hugged me. It was my families early christmas too so we could tell everyone the great news! We already went to Babies R Us! It hasn't really sunk in yet though. The only thing is that I have to wait until the 27th of this month before I even find out how far along I am. I want to know asap, but have to wait past Christmas. Everyone has already been asking. Thank you for all of the support!!

1/02

We had an appointment on the 27th last month and got to see our baby for the first time!! It was just a little peanut! We also got out EDD, Aug. 12th. It was a little rushed though, and our picture from the ultrasound and our doctor said that our baby was 8 cm long, that is like 3.1 inches! It seems really long when we were only 7.5 weeks along. We don't know if the machine was wrong or what. About 2-3 days after the appointment I began getting morning sickness, today being the worst. It really happens after I take my prenatal. I really hope that this doens't last for very long!

1/08

Sickness has now taken over! And, it sucks! Not only are my prenatals causing me morning sickness, but I think that I have also caught a cold or some kind of virus. I was sick all day yesterday. I thought that it would let up like it usually does, but it was not the case. I am feeling a little better this morning (I took the day off of work because of how I felt yesterday), but I am so afraid to take my prenatals and just get sick again, but I know I need them. UGH!

I am still going through morning sickness! It has been really bad this past week! I feel like I just feel like crap all of the time! I mean, I know that it is totally worth it, but I just can't wait until I feel normal again! I have heard that once you hit the second trimester that it gets much better and I only have a few days until that, which is super exciting! I will update when the 2nd trimester starts!!

2/13

SO the second trimester began and I actually do feel much better! I began feeling better on Saturday and it has lasted. My first day back to work feeling better and it was almost like I wasn't pregnant anymore. I think it was because I was connecting being pregnant to feeling like crap!! My belly is starting to show a little more, which is amazing to see, and we are begining to work on the nursary! I am so excited to get everything in place! We have a little over a month now till we find out the sex of the baby!! YAY!

I think that I felt my baby move today!! I was standing in the shower and it was just like butterflies in my stomach. I wasn't sure if it was the baby, so I stood there and it happened like 3-4 times! So exciting! I got to talk to my husband at work and he was excited! But he wanted to be able to feel it when he got home. So sweet, even though I am the only one who can feel it right now!

Went to the radiologist today and got our ultrasound and found out the sex....

IT'S A BOY!!!

Our technition was awsome and it was amazing to see our litle boy kicking, moving around and sucking his thumb. My husband couldn't believe I couldn't feel him doing all that moving around! Everything was in the right place and she checked all the major things...what a relief! I can't believe I am having a little boy!

I felt something last night! I was so excited! We were laying in bed and had just turned the lights off and I was talking to him (the baby), trying to tell him to move, and he did this little kick! I was shocked! Not like a butterfly feeling, but a true kick! It was awesome! My husband kept feeling around, wanting to feel it too, but it only happened once. He slept with his hand around me and on my belly so just in case Preston kicked, he would feel it. He had to leave for a few days for work and was all worried that I would start to feel him moving around a lot more and he wouldn't be here to feel it!

So he is kicking like crazy all the time. I love watching my belly jumping around. I can't believe that I am going to be in my 3rd trimester in a couple weeks! I am still going through morning sickness though. I have been trying Preggie Pops lately and they usually work..not today! Ugh, I was even on Reglin, but it made me so tired, I couldn't work. SO I am just trying to push through!

I HATE MORNING SICKNESS!!!!! Why won't it go away?!!?

5-13

First day of the third trimester!! SO exciting! But even more exciting...I was laying on my right side watching tv and he was kicking my left side. I heard that you can start playing with them now, and I tried it. I poked my belly and almost right away, he would kick it! I did it once more and called my husband in. He kept doing it! It was amazing! He totally responded to our touch!
5-23
SO i went for my glucose test and didn't know that I should only eat protein before I tested. Since I could eat up to 10:30 am, I had to take something that i could eat during class (I am a teacher). I took 2 PB and J's and some pretzels. Now I got my results back and where my glucose should be 130-139 it was 151! Now I have to go to the doctors tomorrow and do the 3-4 hour test! i wish someone would have told me before hand. I actually didn't know that I was supposed to fast until reading the fine print at the bottom of the paper, then my Sister-in-law told me about only eating protein (but this of course was AFTER I took the test). I am kinda worried now. I thought that I was healthy, my blood pressure is 120/70 and I haven't gained much---like 5 pounds maybe. I just don't want something to be wrong!

I got the test results back today and I was fine! I am sure it was just what I ate before hand. The 3 hour test (which turned into a 4 hour and 45 minute test.ugh!) went ok, just really long and they wouldn't let us leave the lab. SO that is the good news. More news is that I have a lump right beside my ribs on my left hand side. My husband found it on thursday and it hasn't went away, so I know it's not a heel or shoulder. After 5 days, I am getting worried. I don't know, but I think it has gotten just a tiny bit bigger. There is also a pea sized one under it. I talked to the nurse today and have to go in to get it checked in 2 days. I just hope it's nothing.

I went to the doctor today and they said that the lump was probably just a fatty deposit. They said that they happen sometimes and are usually benign, but they can't x-ray it or anything because of the baby. I just have to keep track of it and make sure that it doesn't begin growing or anything. They said it could have always been there, but now my tummy is just pushing it out. So...that takes a load off.

I went to the Dr. today and they said that I was measuring 32 weeks. I asked about another ultrasound and she said that since the baby is measuring big that we may get one. I am not sure if this means that my due date may be off or that he is growing big or what. I am a little confused.

SO I thought that the morning sickness finally left me, but after eating a little bit today, I immediatly got sick. UGH! AND I have been seeing 'floaters'. THey are kinda grey and sparkly and it worries me a little bit.

6/19

I have been having low period like cramps today. I had 3 yesterday, but they stopped. Today I have had 17 in an hour!...and they keep coming. THey only last 1-2 seconds, but they keep coming, and are painful. so far in the 2nd hour I have had 5 in 13 minutes. It is making me worry, but I tried to call my doctor and the nurses line said that they were busy and would call me back. UGH! so frustrating to not know what is going on.

so I went to the doctor and they checked me and I wasn't dialated. My doctor asked me if I had had any contractions while there and I told him one. He put me on a fetal monitor just in case. I was counting the times Preston moved and talking to my friend who came with me and listening to the heartbeat. When they came back 20 minutes later to check my progress, I thought it would be fine. I hadn't really felt much. However when they came back in, they said that they were taking me up to Labor and Delivery!! I was shocked! THey sent down a wheelchair and took me up after I called my husband who was shocked when I told him that I was going to L&D!! Once he got there they put an IV in me to give me fluids and gave me a shot of breathlin (or something like that) to calm my uterus. I was monitored for about 1.5 hours and they said there were only 3 contractions so I could go home. Thankfully I am not on bedrest (just told to take it easy), and they gave me the pill form of the shot so I could take that if I begin to feel any sort of contraction. It has been a very eventful and surprising day!!

Today is my husband and my first anniversary! YAY! I can't believe that we got married a year ago, so much has happened since then, but it still doesn't seem like a whole year!

On saturday we were on a way to a shopping center about an hour away when I started to feel some slight cramping in my lower belly again. After 2-3 of them, i decided that it would be a good time to take one of my Breathleen pills to relax my uterus. It stopped the contractions, but it made me very very shaky and nausous and my heart felt like it would beat out of my chest. I had to sit down for awhile and we didn't stay at the shopping center very long because i felt so off.

Today I went to the doctor since they wanted to check up on me because I had been in Labor and Delivery on thursday. They checked his heartbeat, which was good, and checked my cervix because of the contractions on saturday. I guess that it was softer than it was on thursday. my doctor told me that i needed to stay off of my feet (which is super hard!!) and that we needed to keep him in there for 2 more weeks. It was weird hearing that we might have him in only 2 weeks! I can't believe...it kinda stresses me out since I feel like I still have so much to do. I guess we won't be totally prepared no matter when it happens.

Went to the doctor today and got checked. I am 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced! The doctor said he could feel his head! I was shocked! So exciting!

Went to the doctor and was still 1 cm dialated but 80% effaced. I was expecting to be dialated a little more, but was suprised how much I thinned out over the week.

7-23

Keep getting sick. I can't keep anything down and it is really frustrating! I was told that this may be due to me dialating, lets hope! I go to the doctor tomorrow to see if I've made any progress...I can't wait!

7-24

Still a little sick. Went to the doctor today and was dialated 2 cm and effaced 90%. He said that the babies head was right there. He said that when I go into labor, I will know it...because the babies head is so low. However, I lost 5 pounds since last week.

7-25

Have been having contractions all day. They seem to be regular, then begin to change. We were having people over and all of a sudden I freaked out about cleaning. Wiping down walls, cleaning everything possible in the kitchen, etc...when I climbed on top of the counter to wipe dust off the wall, my Husband freaked out. We ended up going to a mexican place to eat, so hopefully the spicy food will help with the labor.

7-28

So on Saturday I was having contractions and they went from 10 minutes apart to 4 minutes apart and were lasting 1 minute and a half each. I called my doctor and she said that she could tell I was breathing though a contractions and that I should come in. We went home and picked up our bags and called our parents and headed to the hospital. The contractions were still coming in pretty good when we got to the hospital and I thought I was going to have a baby. My contractions started to slow a bit and get irregular. I was checked and I was still 2 cm dilated and 90% effaced. An hour later I was checked again and there was no change. It was 2 in the morning and the nurse talked to the doctor and said that I had the choice of staying and seeing how things went or going home and seeing how things go there. I just wanted to sleep in my own bed, so I decided to just go home instead and see how things progressed. Since then I have had some contractions but not anything regular. I have decided that I am going to try and not be so anxious about having Preston and just think about spending time with Brad while we have it.

7-31

Just got back from the doctor and I haven't made any progress, still 2 cm and 80-90%. He went ahead and stripped my membranes, which didn't hurt at all, I was surprised. He said that after the 39th week, we could be induced, and decided on next Thursday if I haven't went into labor by then! I am going back in on Tuesday to get my membranes stripped again, but if it doesn't work, I will have a baby next thursday! I can't believe that I will have my baby boy in a week!

I think that I had my 'show' today. It was there when I woke up, it wasn't huge but it was definitely blood-tinged. So maybe this is going ot happen sooner than I thought!

Definitley lost the rest of my mucus plug today. I had lost bits of it for awhile, but this was the large part of it. Now I'm just waiting to see if anything happens.

I'm being induced next Thursday, too! Well, if I don't go into labor before then. She's checking my cervix on Tuesday and then I'm scheduled to be there for induction on Thursday morning at 5:30am! Good luck with yours...looks like our boy's might have the same birthday!

WELL, I HAD MY BABY WENSDAY!!! He is soooo cute an little. I lost my plug in tuesday night at 9:00pm and then I was in labor ... I got to the hospital at 12:30am. I did about 8 rounds of pushing (about 30 mins) then at 6:23 am my little ISAAC HUNTER was born to the world. 6lb 1oz and 19.5inch long. 2 1/2 weeks early. This time labor went really fast : ) My first time it was like 28 hours with 3 hours of pushing. I will post picks later.

No change for me. Still at 50% and 3 cm. It's killing me to be at a stand still! Like what the heck is wrong with my body?!? The Dr. did say "Well when you do start to progress, labor will be really fast for you." Not sure how she can tell something like that, but i sure hope she's right!

I miscarried... My doctor said it was a premature miscarriage.. the fetus did not have a chance to attach itself before my body rejected the pregnancy... PLEASE PRAY FOR ME..... LOVE TO ALL
