A Newborn's Conversation with God
A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'

The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'

Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach y ou how to speak.
'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'

'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'

'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

What a great day! I am sure Nygel had a blast at day care, meeting all his new friends! I hope you had a wonderful birthday as well! I think it is a great idea to start Nygel early, so you could get adjusted to being away from him. Let me know how your first day went!

Hi Ladies - Just wanted to let you know that my little lady has made 4 months and growing more and more everyday. She's such a joy - laughing out loud, rolling over (well from stomach to back but we're working on the other way) and she's still sleeping about 12 hours every night. I've also started her on solids. I've decided to make her babyfood (huge money saver) so I've been adding bananas and apple sauce to her cereal and she loves it! She has her 4 month checkup on 9/8 so she's not gonna be a happy camper since she has to have more shots but I'm sure she'll be fine. I just hope that the nurse isn't soo rough this time **wishful thinking**... Well that's all our new news. Here are some 4 month pics that we've taken the last couple of days.

Your lil Nigel is so precious he will get much love at the daycare!! I just turned 36 and it is odd thinking I will be 40 soon. YIKES!!! I say your only as old as you feel. I feel 26ish.

Happy BIRTHDAY!!! and Congrats to Nygel on his first day of daycare! I'm pretty sure the both of you will do just fine. Take plenty of pictures! I thought my fiance' was crazy for wanting another baby in 3 years. I think I'll be quiet for now about those 3 years. Considering how I feel being pregnant now, I think if he would have said 9 months, he might not have liked my reaction. (lol)

Thanks for mentioning that you let Nygel start daycare early. I too plan to do the samething. I want to make sure I'm not a mess either and to see how long would it take for me to get ready. One of his grandmothers want to retire and babysit him but she lives kind of way across town. If we don't have a solution by the beginning of January 09 he'll be in the daycare (private school to 12th grade!). Good luck! Let me know how your day turn out.

Thanks to the ladies that left your favorite pick on my tattoo choices. We ended up rushing to go get them done shortly after I posted the blog and got our tattoos done at his house. His house hi samazing its like a gallery (he's originally a freestyle artisit - you can google some of his work = Rickie Sugars .. I think we made some friends too - we all hit it off really well)

On impluse I chose K.J and he asked if he could add a star which i think is a trip because I was thinking about how to incorporate one but didnt say anything.

Its simple but I love it! I cant wait to get inked again ..

Have you tried Target for a keepsake book? If not there then you can go to Babies R Us, Wal-Mart, or a craft store (like Michael's or A.C. Moore).

I found a really nice one at Babies R' Us before Jaylon was born that lets you detail all the way from pregnancy till he's 1, the only drawback was there wasn't a whole lot of room for pictures so I ended up getting this huge baby blue, velvet covered photo album from Kohl's. I just browsed around in the photo frame dept. whenever I went to the store, and happen to find good ones. They are usually the last place you expect to find good baby books. Good Luck!

I know that the arts and craft section has really nice baby books and things like that. Try babies r us or you may even have to order it online or something. The really big nice keepsake books are probably going to have to be ordered online...
