Saturday, 19 July I have a chair, but it was a gift. It was hideous so I covered it with some fabric (check my page to see it). I needed one, but I think that's entirely up to you. I figured I could rock her to sleep and read her bedtime stories in her room. mysweetums -
Friday, 18 July hey, I was just looking over everyones comments and came across your. I was wondering where was your sis living that the md let her go to 52 wks? I thought most docs dont let you go past 42? ReadyOrNot -
Friday, 18 July I had to have a brethine shot twice with my first and took pills everyday to prevent labor. I was taken off the pills at 36 weeks and had her at 38. I went into labor on my own but did have to have a little pitocin to try to speed labor since her heart rate was dropping. You seem to be concerned about the size of the baby correlating to your due date. If you carry a baby past 42 weeks not only is it un-natural it is unsafe for your baby. The chances of the baby having a bm and filling his lungs with it are higher and your baby will actually start to loose weight after that 42 week which could be the reason for smaller birth weights in your family. When an ultrasound calculates your due date it is not based on the weight it is based on the length of the bones and milestones the baby reaches while in utero. I hope this eases some of your anxiety. Good luck!!! libbysmama -
Thursday, 17 July Good morning! I hear you about going out of your mind with boredom. I can't walk far, either, without terrible pain. My kids want their fun mom back!!! They go back to school in 6 weeks, just in time for baby. We need to be able to enjoy our summer! libbysmama -
Thursday, 17 July I took a 3 hour nap today and I'm still wiped out! I'm glad to hear you aren't bleeding anymore. It's nice that you already have all your baby stuff, so all you have to think about now is having that baby! Doesn't the boring bed rest make the whole summer a washout? I can't do anything!!!
Have some ice cream for me! TTYS!!!

Thursday, 17 July Hi! How are you feeling lately...still on bed rest? No more bleeding I hope! You don't have very long to go! I've got about 6 weeks left and it seems to be taking forever now. I'm still on bed rest with the SPD, my summer is passing me by.
I can't wait to see baby. Did you have a shower yet? I don't get one with #5. Well, gonna get dinner...TTYS!!! CarsonsMom -

I went to L&D yesterday and they said I was contracting every 4 min and try to stop by oral hydration and that didn't work so then they gave me a shot that they give asthma patients.. they kept askn me if i was feeling the contractions but I didn't feel them.. ang -

Wednesday, 9 July I'm not sure where you live but, I know where we live it's standard 48 hours after birth and if it's c-section it can be 4-5 days. I do know a few people that left around the 24 hour mark but, it's because they didn't have insurance. Seams like everywhere has different rules. STCT -
