Friday, 29 Feb was good talking to you today!! mboyer11 -
Thursday, 28 Feb thanks for the info I returned some and have about 25-30 for each pregnantme -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Nope. She has never done that. I was going to change doctor's but the hospital I want to go to has a birthing center in it. The rooms in the birthing center are so much better then the regular labor & Delivery rooms. Plus I can wear my own clothes (no hospital gown), it has your own jazzui, flat screen tv, and a real bed with regular sheets. LOL I don't have to be hooked up to anything (IV or moniters). My doctor wont deliver me a midwife will. I think I can handle labor a lot better in that kind of atmosphere rather then be in a small room with all things wires on you. When i went on the hospital tour out tour guide kinda freaked me out. She showed us a regular L&D room and showed us how the bed drops out from under you so the doctor can get into position. OMG I was like ok nope I'm not having a baby. LOL then she showed us the birthing center suites. The only down side is that you can't have any pain meds. If it gets to bad and i need the pain meds then they take you down the hall to L&D. So I will try it natural for as long as i can. =) pregnantme -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Cool. thanks. Come to think about it, my doctor has never felt my tummy. All she does is listen to his heart beat and that's it. pregnantme -
Wednesday, 27 Feb I'm in the same boat girl. I had a sonogram done at 20 weeks cause I was in a car accident. My doctor hasn't said anything about another one. I did go to a sonogram place but it was for pictures only(3D/4D), so she guessed that my baby was 4 pounds (2/2/08) and head down. I'm concerned too. I want to know how big he is and if he is head down. I thought that would be a big concern for my doctor as well. I'm going to the doctor's every week now so I will ask her next time. Good luck. kikimc -
Wednesday, 27 Feb I have not gotten any other ultrasounds either- and no test done or anything- just weight and blood pressure and they listen to his little heart! MY husband's sister just had a baby and she had all kinds of things done- I guess it depend on your doctor- but I understand your frustration!!! I am in the same situation that you are in-but think of it this way, your baby must be doing great because your doctor is not worried at all!!! iamsohappy -
Wednesday, 27 Feb I am a huge worry wart and have been throughout the whole pregnancy.. As happy as I was to have an ultra sound this week, I was also a nervous wreck worried that they would find something wrong. I think that all Dr's are different and some do ultra aounds more often. I had one at 18 weeks and then this one but that as I said was b/c I was big. Good luck with your delivery, sarahlynn44 -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Haha just wanted to tell you about the internals they arent really that bad. Its kinda like the thing they use when you go for a pap exam. Well thats what it felt like to me anyhow. They try to make it as hmm dont wanna say pleasant but yea as they can for ya lol. Good luck iamsohappy -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Hello,
My Dr. said that the only reason I had an ultra sound was b.c I was measuring 2 weeks bigger than I should be.
Don't worry.
We are almost there! momto4and1tobe -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Hey there, I love the nursery. I almost went with that bedding! How nice that you have a bed in there too! LUCKY! Anyway, I was stopping by to tell you not to worry about not getting u/s's. Your doctor is doing just fine. Women went ages without them and deliver just fine. My doctor does do one, at every visit actually, but even if he didn't I would stick with him. Sometimes u/s cause worry when there isn't anything to worry about. For example, they told me that one of my twins was way smaller than the other, he wasn't! They were both the same exact weight!! I don't know what else to say, but I hope you can stop worrying and just wait for nature! No u/s needed! charrmd4me -
Sunday, 24 Feb Hey there, I read ur post about pumps. I purchased an electric one about 3 weeks ago and it works great. The brand name is Lansinoh. I heard its by the same maker as the Medela pump, but this one is much cheaper. It only cost $150 at Walmart and its a dual pump also. I can get about 4-5 ounces in less than 10 min on a good day. I went with this pump because at the hospital, the nurses gave me the same brand lanolin which worked well for my cracked nipples. Good luck momagain -
Tuesday, 19 Feb About the pump. Can't remember the rand, but it was electric and it was horrible. I hear the manual is much better because you can control the pressure/suction better. I'm going to get a manual pump. Good luck whatever you decide to do. romma -
Monday, 18 Feb HI WHITNEY HOPE YOU ARE WELL. WELL THE PUMPS THAT I HAVE USED SO FAR ARE AVENT, I HAD AN ELECTRIC ONE AND MY NIPPLE KINDA GOT STUCK IN THERE AND I NEVER USED IT AGAIN AND THEN WENT AND GOT AN AVENT MANUAL AND IT WORKED GREAT AND THEY DONT BREAK APART. BUT THE MERCEDES OF BREAST PUMPS IS MEDELA AND THEY ARE COSTLY. SO THOSE TWO ARE THE ONLY ONES I WOULD RECOMMEND. HOPE I WAS OF ANY HELP TO YA HUN, TAKE CARE. april08baby -
Monday, 18 Feb Medela Pump in Style is an awesome pump. I used it every day for a full year after my son was born. Mine did break after about 9 months but it was under warrenty and you just call the 800 number and they send a new one out that day. You just send your old one back when you get your new one. (it comes with a 1 year warrenty) britt.b. -

We just got married in November (we had planned on a December wedding before we found out I'm expecting) and I've started a wedding business. I have 11 dresses and will cut you a deal, when the time comes. I know how it is!!! Stop by my page and check out my pics!
