My name is Whitney and I am 24 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have a 5-year-old son already and found out at my 19 weeks scan that I am expecting another little boy. It took us about 7 months to finally get pregnant so we couldn't be happier right now. This pregnancy has been a breeze compared to my first and is going by so fast it's unreal. The only complication I have had was morning sickness until 14 weeks and a low-lying placenta which we hope has moved up by now (We find out at our next appt). We can't wait to meet our little boy which we have decided to name Gavin Douglas. I chose the name Gavin because I have always liked it and my Fiance chose Douglas after his father. I guess that's all I have to say right now, I'll try to update when I get a chance to. I have a Mac computer which isn't compatable with this site so I can't add updates :(

Tuesday, 29 April That situation happen to me too. I talk about it to my doc and she told me its because of more blood in our system or something a like. It can happen if a change of temperature happen or in a crowded place.
She told me to lay on my left side when that happen, Even thought you are in public. I had to did it in the subway, I looked weird but after 5 minutes it was resolved. GL AmyO -
Saturday, 26 April I feel your pain! I have them all of the time and it drives me crazy! I am also dialated to a 2 and 80% effaced and have been for weeks...it is about to freaking kill me! Some days I don't think I can make it another minute...oh well it will all be worth it in the end... umastar16 -
Wednesday, 9 April Happy Early Birthday! =) I hope you have a fantastic one. Hang in there - our little ones are coming soon! snowwhite5thbabe -
Wednesday, 9 April Yay! I'm glad your baby turned! After Nathan turned, I was a little confused as to his position, because I was still being jabbed lower down on the left...I believe it's his elbows...I do get the biggest kicks/jabs on the upper right from his feet. And, of course pain in my cervix when he turns his head! Oh well- at least it looks like I will avoid a c-section. momkoz -
Sunday, 30 Mar I didnt have it with my first either!!! It seems like it never goes away and when i sit it gets worse! Ive learned to put my hands over my head and strech to relieve it for a minute, i sleep on my left side and just sitting and standing straght helps a little bit! I asked my doctor about it and she said 'the joys and pains of pregnancy' but it is almost unbarable!!! I will keep you posted but i cant figure it out either...it hurts and leaves me with a weird feeling!!!!! angie007 -
Saturday, 29 Mar Ok, thank you! snowwhite5thbabe -
Wednesday, 26 Mar Wow! You've really been working hard at turning him! I can't believe he turned right back around- that's pretty stubborn! Oh well, you've done as much as you could possibly do...Good luck! snowwhite5thbabe -
Tuesday, 25 Mar Have you tried the cat pose described on my page to turn your baby?? My midwife told me about it last pregnancy...It worked a little earlier on with this baby, then he turned sideways, and has been pretty stubborn since...But it's something to try anyway. I've also read that some Dr.s will attempt to turn baby late in pregnancy, but that it's a little dangerous because the cord could get compressed from them pressing on baby a certain way(so they monitor baby the whole time, and do an emergency c-section if baby's heartbeat drops), and that it's extremely uncomfortable for mom...I'm already uncomfortable enough when baby moves alot on his own...LOL! snowwhite5thbabe -
Monday, 24 Mar I'm actually not too uncomfortable...He's kind of sideways/ head downish... My cervix has been really sensitive the past few pregnancies, so I'm actually glad he's not pressing on it at this point. But I don't really want to have a c-section, either...My Dr. says that my uterus had been stretched out by all the babies, so there's room for baby to comfortably hang out this way. Makes me more nervous that he won't finally turn...
God bless you and your little one! Roxy-Girl -

Tuesday, 4 Mar Hi, Whitty. You may want to consider tutoring. Or, enroll in some community college classes for yourself. There are some excellent tutor companies, perhaps National Co's & seeking tutors in your area. I'm getting set-up as a tutor now for ClubZ Tutoring; they have financial backing from the 'No Child Left Behind' Act. All the Best To You & Yours 1sttimebabymama696 -
Monday, 3 Mar Hey, I saw your message on the 26 week forum about stay at home jobs. Currently I process HUD/FHA refunds at home and I make pretty good money doing it. It costs 100 bucks to get started but they give you a money back guarentee, I make atleast 300 dollars a week doing it, so I think it is worth looking at. the website is ncisonline.com -Good luck and congrats on your little one :) kmfitz -

Monday, 3 Mar Hi, I'm not sure if you saw my post on week 37 about stay at home mom jobs. Just wanted to let you know it was up there. 1stbabyforus -
Monday, 3 Mar Have you heard of Pampered chef? Well its kind of a home job but you would have to go out some nights for dinner parties but your partner could watch the kids for a couple of hours. You make 20% commision and when you buy pamperedchef yourself you can get huge deals (thats one reason why I started to do it) Leave a message for whitty in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
