Thursday, 26 June From what I've read.. If your feeling thirsty then your already dehydrated which can lead to other issues during pregnancy. (Sounds obvious, right) but seriously.. you should be drinking regular amounts of water throughout the day so that you never get that "thirsty" feeling. Your body is making so much extra blood and replacing amniotic fluid constantly that you need tons of water to keep up. Just re-hydrate yourself and after about 4-5 days you should be back to normal. beatlebabeplusone -

Thursday, 26 June Hello girl. I would speak to the doc about being thirsty all the time, as that is one of the signs of diabetes. Both of my parents have it and so did both sets of grandparents, so I watch out for those signs all the time. Have you had your glucose test yet? If so, how did it turn out? I have mine on the 15th of July. Take care!!! debra haynes -

Thursday, 26 June thank you for your kind words...It definately is difficult to juggle every day life and raise a child with special needs...My daughter is my ray of light and ever since she has been born I cherish her and thank God for bringing her to me...The only idea that scares me is what will she do once I pass on? The world is a scary and cold place so that is my only fear thus far...Although she is non-verbal, not potty trained and has not acquired many basic skills such as self-feeding and is still mouthing she has come a long way and for that I am very proud to be her mother! For quite some time now she has been making this very high pitch sound consistently which draws attention to her....I don't mind if someone looks because I'm pretty much use to it but to stare is quite another! I mean adults are gawking at my child and sometimes it infuriates me...
I'm glad to hear all is well with you...Drink your fluids and get plenty of bedrest! I feel a little bit better as far as the pregnancy is concerned but I'm hoping that Sam stays put for the next 13 weeks! I'm not sure if I told you yet (forgive me if I did, but my brain has not been all there lately) but I was checked internally by my midwife and everything is well...I don't have any infections and any contractions so the pressure from the baby could be the position that she is in, since she is breech....
I hope my shower goes well too...I don't know any details so I'm curious to find out...I have been getting things little by little too because I want to be prepared and whatever I receive at the shower will be greatly appreciated...Hope all is well!!! I will definately keep you posted!!! judi -
Wednesday, 25 June Yep, just woke up. Got a load of washing on and packed the kids' school lunches. Only today and tomorrow and they have school holidays, so that'll be nice.
Great news about your midwife appointment. I don't have a midwife - my GP is my health care provider. But when I go into labor I'll have to go to Cairns, where they have a bigger hospital, so will be delivered by someone I've never met. Kinda sucks, but that's how it has to be. Hubby will have to stay here to be with the other children, so I'll probably be alone too, which also sucks. Cairns is about an hour away by road (but we don't have a car).
You deserve a medal for putting up with your mum, that's for sure. Hope she doesn't drive you completely up the wall! She's there for 2 weeks?
My day should be easy. I'll ride to the store with Tycho to pick up some groceries whenever he's ready, and otherwise just hang out. I hope he sleeps in today as he was kinda grumpy yesterday and that's not so fun.
Hope you've had a good day.
*hugs* xxxxx Cinxia -
Wednesday, 25 June I measured large too at first, but I am now where I should be. If the doctors are not concerned, you shouldn't be either. Try to relax, chances are everything is fine. judi -
Wednesday, 25 June Okay, so I read your blogs, and now I really don't understand why you're taking on her care on top of your child-care and your kids AND your pregnancy. You're mad, lady!! My mum's a real b**ch to me and my sis and even worse to my sister's husband. I can't stand being around her for more than just polite "hellos". As soon as the courtesy wears off, she's intolerable. But yours sounds just as bad if not worse! Man!
Anyways, I'm off to bed in a minute. Just gotta brush my and Tycho's teeth and brush Becki's hair. Goodnight!
* hug *

Wednesday, 25 June i know what you mean about the sore throat i have had 1 since the weekend, and cant seem to shift it.
i feel so drained lately like i could fall asleep standing up, i find the longer i stand the more pain i get in my back even just cooking the kids tea.
when i have to go pick my youngest up from school which only a 6 minute walk down the road i get so tired, and house i just cant seem to do all in 1 go....i use to be so active before i got pregnant so im sure it will pass once the baby is born..
hope your tiredness goes eases off soon take care bye for now x judi -
Wednesday, 25 June My weight gain has settled down a bit, which is nice. Still going up steadily, but not quite as steeply. I thought I was gonna be as big as a house by the time Baby's born! Hopefully I can keep it to just another 5 or 6 kgs.
Good that you're Mum's doing ok; hope you're coping with her. I'd hate to be caring for my mum, but we don't get along that well. I'm amazed I survived childhood with my sanity mostly intact, after living with her day in day out for all those years. Nowadays I enjoy a phone call or two a week, but it she visits, one or two days a year is more than enough.
Pressure on the bladder or any stimulation "down there" is enough to get my hormones into overdrive! A few times I even looked at internet porn - am I awful??
