My name is Kellie, I am 30, married to my bestest friend ( I don't care how corny that sounds..its true) and pregnant with our first child!!! I have been married not even a year but been with Patrick since 2002 when we met up in Smithers, BC but I am originally from Winnipeg, Mb. Thats right a prarie girl!!! I graduated with a degree in Fish and wild and finished off with a year in natural resources sciences. But with the way jobs are going, and my state right now, I have resorted to the exciting world of...banking. I know, I know. I was once in the bush tracking grizzley bears and now im making deposits. Oh well, its all for the good!
I have signed up on this site because I love meeting new people and I think its amazing how we can all bounce ideas off eachother and have other women to ask question to. My mom wishes they had the internet when she was pregnant!!!

hey ladies...as some of you may know i can't post blogs so i'll just write a little update here on how things have been...
first off, family...we just found out the sister-in-law that the WHOLE family (my fiance's family) doesn't get along with is 13 weeks pregnant. we're obviously going to love the child but the sister-in-law already is SUPER controlling towards my fiance's brother so she's just going to use this baby as another excuse to have more control over him. well enough about that cause its really not our deal, we're just worried about my fiance's brother.
i'm recovering well from birth (thank God lol) i go in for my 6 week check up here in about 2 weeks so i hope that all goes well. ashlynn is doing MUCH better with her sleeping at night. she'll wake up once in the way early morning and then once around 6 to eat but she always falls back asleep now! i took her to the doctors yesterday cause she got BAD baby acne but it was on her ears and everything so i wanted to double check and be sure thats all it is. she's gaining weight good and i can't believe on the 11th of this month she'll be a month old...time goes by way fast! one thing i do need help with is this...i'm not breastfeeding her because she almost makes me bleed when i do but i'm pumping for her...well awhile ago i got lazy and wasn't pumping enough and my milk supply has gone WAY down. i still have milk but when i pump i barely get 3 ounces out of both boobs together...how can i get my supply to go back up? i know its my fault but i want to keep pumping for her. help please lol...
i hope everyone thats had their babies are all doing well and i hope all that're expecting the best of luck.

Sorry if you've read this in the 0 months section but I just found out my sister has the H1N1 virus and I'm kind of freaking out. She came to see the baby when she was born but had no symptoms at the time and my nephew was just here for a couple days but has no symptoms as of yet. Should I call the doctors tomorrow when his office opens or will that be me acting like a paranoid freak? I just don't know if the virus is contagious in its incubation state. Anyone have any info on that? Thank goodness for bf...at the very least she has my antibodies to protect her but to what extent? My sister is the 3rd person we've been in contact with who has contracted the virus...this is getting too scary.

Just an update I went to the doctor today she checked me and told me that I am 1cm and all the pains in my vjay are mild contractions I have an induction date set for Nov. 12 at 7:30 pm but I hope I go into labor before then

Okay ladies I really need some labor dust I have 3 days until my due date and no signs of him coming the only pains I feel is the vjay pains and they hurt really bad. I pray that I don't go over due:(

I finally got my birth story up! Almost two weeks late but better late than never, right!?! Besides I have a newborn to take care of! Well I hope your all doing well and congrats to those who have had their LO's and LOTS of Labour dust to those still waiting. Enjoy the time because when that LO comes life is going to be very busy and tiring! But very rewarding!
