Well, my name here is woopsiebaby because my husband and I have been married for 11 years and have 2 sons...10 and 8. We were done having children, so we thought. We never did anything to NOT get pregnant, though. So here we are, I am 36 and he is 39. We feel like we're starting over in a way but are getting kind of excited. I just got my RN this past summer and thought the c/s I saw in clinicals would be my last. Little did I know I'd be going through it myself again! If all goes well, I am due July 30th and will have a cesarean the week before.

Tuesday, 24 June Oh man, I feel your stress. Believe it or not, you will appreciate closing on both houses in one day b/c that way you can get it all over with at once, just try to make sure all paperwork is prepared as far in advance as possible and warn ALL people involved in this paperwork how important it is! And I was wondering too, if maybe you could get your surgery scheduled just a couple days earlier? Prob not, but see what doc says? Maybe if an u/s showed it would be alright? Good Luck!!!!

Sunday, 22 June Try not to stress too much about the housing situation. We are in the same boat. I have to be out of my rental by Aug 1, I'm due July 28th, the house we're moving to is being built and won't be done for another 2-6 months. So, we're moving in with my sister until the other house is ready. I feel like I can't prepare here b/c I'm going to be moving and I feel like I can't prepare there until she's situated as well (she's looking to buy a house and hasn't closed yet).....I need to get ready for him but it's hard. It is very stressful but it will work :) Mum2-3 -
Tuesday, 17 June Hi, I'm not sure if what you are describing is the bubs head sitting very low on the inside of your cervix. I get this and have with my past two pregnancies. I was actually worse with my previous two pregnancies, this time its not so bad and bearable. It feels like sharp pains down on the inside of my cervix. I had it from about 30 weeks with my 1st two pregnancies, on and off alot. This time its only been more mild, pains are more off than on and I've had it from about 33 weeks. When I lift something heavier ie my 2 year old (12kg), it gets temporarily worse. Hope this helps, let me know if this sounds like what you are experiencing. sj -
Tuesday, 17 June Your pelvic pain could be SPD which is pain in the pelvic area, I have had it since 23 weeks and his has restricted my mobility it is very painful and experts say will go pretty much straight after the birth. Hang on in there and rest as much as possible when it happens. cosmomama -
Tuesday, 27 May hi! Ya, I figured that the resolution is the same. Its a different nerve than sciatica, but there is still not much that can be done. Its hurts like HELL though. Its like Im being stabbed and set on fire! but my mom says that she has been diagnosed with Meralgia parasthetica and the only cure is to lose the weight. So I just have to wait it out for 9 more weeks! Thanks for your response! MommaD -
Thursday, 15 May Your post about moving made me chuckle! Not b/c you're stressed but about you bursting into tears if your hubby looks at you wrong! I feel the same way, I'm so sensitive. Yesterday at work, we had a singer in the cafeteria. The music was so beautiful it made me cry! But if I were you, I'd rather sale the house now rather than when the baby is born. You know all the changes that your body will be going through after baby, you may be more of a wreck then than now. Good luck, hope it sales soon. MommyWonder -
Thursday, 15 May Hey, I read your post about moving. I was originally slated to move at the end of June, a month before my due date, but we ended up moving mid March. That was best for me even though I still couldn't help as much as normal. The end of June (8/9mos) would've been a nightmare! My sister moved the week after she gave birth and it was horrible for her so if you can do it before the baby comes, that's probably best. I guess it just depends on what works for you comfort wise. cosmomama -
Thursday, 15 May hey, I read your post about moving. It must be so stressful right now to be selling your house. I think I know how you feel though. We are moving too and actually just bought a house. Buying a home where I live (California) is so expensive as it is and it literally took months in the process. I wasn't even showing when we started, and now Im huge. I have been an emotional wreck throughout escrow. I needed to go on disabilty and I couldn't or else we would lose our loan, so I was in tons of pain everyday at work, and I just started to resent everything and cry all the time. My OBGYN had me go see a psychologist. I didn't think it would help, but it was nice to have someone to vent EVERYTHING to. Its hard enough being pregnant, but then moving and being emotionally weak to our husbands makes it worse. I would suggest go to a psych, even if just to vent. What you are feeling is SO normal and anyone would feel that way too, and the psych helps you understand that. Its good to have friends to vent to, but having a trained person to help sort out your thoughts and fears really helps to you to stop and think about why you are so upset and control it. It really helped me. I hope all gets better for you and the house works out. It is all bad timing but in the end, you will have sold your home and have a beautiful baby. And the emotional outburts are ok, its part of the process! keez1979 -
Wednesday, 7 May My 3-D ultrasound didn't turn out that great, either. My baby also had her umbilical cord in her face the entire time. She looks like she was holding onto it for dear life. . .smile! I posted the best pictures that I had though, if you want to take a look. it's great that you got pictures, though! Congrats on your pregnancy.
