17th November 2007

So I'm curretly 18 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I saw the midwife 2 days ago and she done my BP and a urine test and everything was fine. I also heard the babys heartbeat!! It sounds so amazing. I booked my next scan for the 4th of December, I can't wait! Hopefully we'll get to find out the sex. My boyfriend really wants a boy but I'm not too bothered. Aslong as my babies healthy i'll be more than happy!

Monday 10th December

Omg I had the biggest scare today! I woke up at 7am to go for a wee and it felt like i'd wet myself! So i got up and turned the light on and realised it was blood. I totally freaked out and went and woke my dad and his gf up n then had to get an ambulance. I had to go to A+E and be checked over, BP, urine etc and then they sent me to the labour ward. They checked the baby and everything was ok with the heartbeat THANK GOD!! And i've got another scan tomorrow. They said they didn't know why I was bleeding but they done a smear and stuff so i've just got to wait for the results. It was so horrible waking up and being covered in blood =( There was so much, I was terrified. Now i've got 3 holes in my arms from drips and blood tests! Ouch! But i'm just glad my little ones ok.

Tuesday 11th December

So I went for my scan today and was told that my amniotic fluid is lower than it should be =( They think that the leak I had yesterday was the fluid. They said that hopefully my placenta will replace the fluid but they can't be sure so i'm going back on friday for a check up and then a scan next week. I'm so scared. They said the baby was fine and his heartbeat was good but I'm just so worried. I really don't think I can stand the wait till next week, i'm gonna worry constantly. I dunno what i'd do if something happened to my baby. I'm not really religious but I'm just praying that my baby will be ok and that the fluid will come back =( Wish me luck everyone. They also confirmed that it's a boy =) xxx

Wednesday 19th December

I went for my scan yesterday and the fluid still low. They said he looks ok though and from the measurements she took he seems to be growing so that's good. I have to have weekly scans now and checkups and my blood taken twice a week. I bled again last thursday and spent a few days in hospital. I'm just sooooo worried at the moment. I can't begin to say how scared I am. Every time I go to the loo I worry there's gonna be blood. He has been moving quite alot the last few days and they said that that's good coz it shows he's got enough fluid to move around in. I just want my baby boy to be ok. I've got an appointment with a consultant tomorrow to talk about my checkups etc and how often I need to be seen.

Thursday 20th December

Me at 23 weeks and 4 days. I grow more and more everyday! I can't imagine how big i'm gonna be at 40 weeks.

I've had my baby boy!

He was born on the 25th of February. I was 33 weeks so he was a bit early. He's in the neonatal unit in hospital at the moment and will probably be in there a few weeks. He's so perfect though, I love him so much and I'm so lucky to have him!! I will update with pictures and more info some other time. Hope everyone is doing well.

27th March

Theo is home now! He came home on the 11th of March. I'm so happy he's home =) I love being a mum. I can't believe he's a month old already, it's gone so fast. The health visitor came today and he weighs 6lbs 91/2oz! He was4lbs 13oz when he was born so he's gaining weight really well. He feeds every 3-4 hours so it's not too bad. He's such a good baby. I hope everyones well. I will update with pictures soon.
