25 WEEKS--OCTOBER 18

So, i'm 25 weeks today, and have been reading this site like every day. I FINALLY decided to join and make my page and all that. This is our first baby, a little GIRL!! We couldn't be more excited! Now if we can just agree on a name...

So far, everything has gone as perfect as can be! I had maybe one week of morning sickness around 11-12 weeks, but never threw up! Just felt tired and sick all day long. Now i'm in the "feeling great" stage for the most part. Some minor aches and pains here and there and heartburn like mad...but nothing a couple of Tums can't fix. Had an appointment yesterday and i have gained 17 pounds total so far. I guess that's not too bad. But starting out at 177...i was hoping to not cross the 200 mark, looks like that is going to happen though. Oh well. My doc also told me that my tummy was measuring a 26...a tiny bit big for where i'm at, so she said they'd keep an eye on it and do another ultrasound if it kept measuring big. Other than that, everything looked great!

They gave me that lovely Glucose drink to take right before my next appointment, which i am NOT looking forward to...and i also have to have a Rhogam shot at the next one. Also not looking forward to that too much.

26 WEEKS--OCTOBER 25

Well, another week has gone by, and i'm still feeling huge as ever. I have also in the last day or two started to SWELL major bad. I don't know if i've been eating/drinking especially salty things or what. But it's crazy. You can actually see the fluid in my feet jiggle when i walk. It totally grosses me out! So at work i have to sit with my feet propped up on my garbage can!! I'm sure it looks silly, but i'm hoping it will at least help keep some of the swelling down during the day. Other than that, things are still going great. Doing better this week, not feeling so down on myself because of how huge i am now. So that's good. And sleeping with pillows seems to really help with my back pain at night. And even through part of the next day. It doesn't start hurting till later on.

Starting to run out of things to wear though. None of my shirts are long enough anymore! And i thought i had gotten plenty of maternity clothes, but looks like i'll have to get a couple more.

32 WEEKS--DECEMBER 6

Well...i haven't updated in a loooong time!! Yikes! Well, really there isn't a whole lot to update on, i have been pretty lucky to have a very very easy pregnancy so far. I do get the normal aches and pains here and there. But health wise, i'm A-OK. I had my Rhogam shot a couple weeks ago, and my glucose test and all went well with both. My doc says my blood pressure and weight gain are perfect. I've gained 27 pounds so far. well, since my last visit, it's probably like 28-29 now. But i guess that's ok. I'm just hoping to keep it under 40!

We have finally decided on 2 names. We aren't adding any more! It's either going to be Makayla or Grace. i think my husband likes Makayla better and i am leaning towards Grace these days. So we will just have to see her cute little face and decide! And actually, the two names sound really good together! Makayla Grace. But it makes for a kind of long name, cause our last name is pretty long. But who knows.

We have the baby's room painted and got the crib all set up....but i still think there's alot more to do. We need to find a dresser and changing table...and start stocking up on diapers!

Well, i guess that's it for now! I'll update again soon hopefully!
