It `s a girl!! My husband and I found out on March 22 :) Her name will be Claire Marie. Named after my mother that passed and my step mother that raised me since I was 9. My husband and I are so excited. I dont think I've felt her move yet. I've seen her jump and kick like crazy during the ultrasounds so I'm not too worried about it. Plus I'm extra chunky so I'm sure it will take me longer to feel it than thinner moms. I cant wait to tho.. It's been a rough road so far.. at the beginning of the pregnancy there was a lot of bleeding.. for weeks.. and we thought we were gonna lose the baby. I was placed on progesterone suppositories and now here we are 20 weeks and with a baby girl who weighs 8 oz so far. Claire Marie is a blessing for us. It's like this baby was meant to be a girl.. we had always planned on naming our first daughter after my mothers..and then to find out on my mom's bday(the one that died) that we were pregnant and then now to know for sure that it is a girl, I just cant believe it. Makes me feel like my mom is still watching over me and she's smiling right now because she had a hand in this..lol This little girl is goin to be loved more than anything.. hope she likes lots of hugs and kisses..lol :) I love her so much already and I havent even met her yet.

Congrats!!! She is so cute. How was your delivery? My went well I need to post some pics up. I have had my hands full with two and Jaxie has been sick. Yeah. Isn't it wonderful to have a baby. There's just something about them. I would love to here from you.

Awww you will do fine hun. With my first I was so scared too but once they get here it all comes natural. And you always have this site if you have any questions. So Tuesday ur c-section is scheduled right? I bet ur sooo excited!

I am not sure, I believe that every hospital is different but try asking the hospital you will have the baby at. I know with my first I was in a military hospital and they wouldn't let my hubby in until after the shot and it was the same way at the civilian hospital that I had my second at. I hope he can though if you need him there. I don't mind your questions at all hun. I need something to pass the time or time moves so slow waiting on this baby. LOL

Some doctors will let you out earlier if your feeling well. I have to stay for 4 days! LOL Mainly cuz of my past history. You do get the shot in the back (the spinal) which numbs you from waist down. Its amazing though cuz you don't feel a thing and the shot only feels like a pinch. You will do fine. I wish you a smooth recovery and don't worry everything will go fine hun.

Hi,

I saw your post on week 39 forum. About your c-section they usually have you stay in the hospital for 3 days afterwards but it just depends on you and your doctor. I have mine scheduled for Thurs the 14th, it will be my third so if you have any questions feel free to ask. They are not as bad as what most ppl make it out to be. They go by so so fast! Good Luck with everything and congrats!

I think I would get tired of seeing them to if I had to go twice a week. Since I use to work with them there was a reason why I didn't go back after Jaxie was born. LOL. Well, at least if you did stay pregnant forever you would get your 15 minutes of fame right. LOL. Lets hope not though. I am not sure how Jaxie is going to do. Some days she talks about it others it's a "NO" and runs off. It's funny how they start to act like teenagers at 2. So wish me luck. I did take her out and bought her 2 Big Sister tee shirts. We will just have to see.

Well I am glad that you are doing pretty good. The swelling and UTI sucks though. I am pretty nervous about the c/s. However, they told me today that my strep b test was negative. I was so relieved because that is what caused all my troubles with the first. My doctor was not in today and I seen the midwife. She didn't check my cervix. She said since I had to have a c/s that it wasn't needed. But wouldn't you think since I have to have a c/s they would want to make sure I wasn't having any changes. Oh well if I make it till my next appointment on thursday next week it didn't matter anyway. If I don't hear back from you by the time we deliver good luck and put up some pics.

I am glad they are sending you to a class. That will be helpful even after it's all over. I am glad your doctor is paying close attention to it. It's better safe than sorry. Everything here is okay. I just wish my emotions would get under control. With my first I don't remember being so dag gum moody. Then I tell myself is it me or is it the people around me. LOL. So I justify being a hag. I have 49 days to go and I am ready to get this baby here. I have a u/s today to check the growth. Will you be having another u/s? Have a good COOL day.

So how did the baby shower turn out. I have been wondering about it. Are you glad it's over. The only bad thing about having a shower is trying to get everything organized after. LOL Good luck at your appointment tomorrow. I hope everything goes good. I was called by the surgery scheduler at my OB's office and the day is set for August 5th. My husband about feel over when I told him we had to be there by 5 a.m. Which I like because that means I will be the first c/s of the day. I want them to be on the top of there game. LOL
