Hi everyone!! This is my first time pregnant.. Feeling excited n scared maybe.. Cos i dunno wad r e changes tat will happen on me.. n dunno whether these changes r normal or not..

35 weeks today.. Just went for my checkup and doctor say i might give birth later than my due date.. Abit sad.. He said if i don't give birth in 15 days after my due date, he's gonna induce me.. What's the meaning of 'induce' anyway? issit painful? i'm scared and start to get nervous... My baby gal weighs 2.5kg now.. I feel so glad because 2 weeks ago which was on 14 feb, my gal only weighs 1.7kg... Anyway.. i'm starting to count down already.. Another 5 more weeks to go which is 35 more days.. And 2 more weeks later i'm going for my next checkup.. Hope everything goes well...

37 weeks today.. Went for my check up again.. Nothing much.. My gal weighs 2.8kg now.. Happy happy.. Heez.. During the scanning, the doc said that my gal's mouth is moving!! And we saw that.. So cute!!! Haha.. Next week will be my next checkup which will be on 20 mar.. By then i will be 38 weeks already.. Doc will have my cervix check next week.. Argh!! Nervous!! Haha..

38 weeks today.. My darling weighs 3.1kg now.. doc checked my cervix too.. But not yet open.. Sad.. =( He told me if i dont give birth 5 days after my due date, he's gonna induce me.. But he still said that natural will be better than induce.. hopefully next week i go checkup, my cervix will be opened.. Haha..

39 weeks today.. So weird.. My gal's weight went down to 3kg.. Haha.. I feel so scared too.. doc said i need to be admitted into hospital next wed as he's going to induce me... My cervix still not opened yet.. Sad.. Haiz.. Looks like my gal still wanna stay inside my tummy and not preparing to come out yet.. haha..

My gal is 9 days old today.. Very sad as she has abit of jaundice.. And til now she had already went to 3 checkups, that means she had the blood test for 3 times.. So sad.. Really hope she will get back to normal again on the next checkup which is on next tuesday.. Currently, i have also stopped breast feeding temporarily because of the jaundice.. And now my milk supply also start to decrease.. i'm so worried that it will stop... So i start to pump out abit first to stimulate more milk... Everything is fine for now.. Just that sleep is definitely not enough...

My gal is 20 days old today... Great. Her jaundice went down to 65.. Back to normal liao... So happy!! Right now, everything is still fine for me.. Other than not enough sleep... Recently, my gal will wake up for feeding every 2 hrs instead of 3 or 4 hrs previously... Especially night time..From feeding to burping and to putting her to sleep, it took me around half an hour to 45min... Then i can only sleep for about 1hr or so.. Tiring!!!!

Yes..I also noticed those red dots, they come & go.. Yesterday, I was really bothered bout his rashes & what I did was I used baby oil to his face w/the cotton & leave it there for few minutes & wipe it using cotton & water after.I dunno but it worked! last night i noticed his rashes already subside. i repeated same thing this morning before i bath him. i'm observing his face now & no more rashes already. i am thinking maybe becos of too much wiping w/water the moisture of the skin has removed also?

OMG! that is my big problem now. it seems like his rashes getting worse cos it looks so red!! feel pity for him. i always wipe his face using cotton w/ water but it's not working.:( the doctor from kk said its infantile eczema. but other doctor said it's prickly heat Argg!! I don't know!! I'm just hoping that it's not serious.:( cos i am really worried!

Hey there! my baby has rashes too all over his face & some of his body & his scalp for 3 weeks now. my mil said that the baby got these rashes bcos we keep kissing him but i dont think so Grrr!! & she (mil) like to put powder on my baby's face until my baby keep sneezing! walao!! I told her cannot anyhow put powder esp., on the face. its not bcos they have experienced being a mother but it doesn't mean that they know about everything already! infact we went for checkup yesterday. the doctor said dont apply any moisturizer or even powder for the newborn cos it might get worst.

Don't let your MIL get to you. A lot of babies get heat rashes. Lots of babies also have this rash on their face to so it's very normal. Older generations have lots of superstitions that seem odd to me. Just do what you feel is right and everything will be ok. First babies are hard because everyone trys to tell you what is right. The more babies you have the more you learn to trust yourself. Good luck.

My little girl has the same rash. I don't know if it's heat or what. I wash her face with a cool cloth at least 4 times a day and that helps it. I have noticed it seems to get worst if she lays against me for a long time.

Hi there i was reading your comment about the spots on your babys face, my baby has them aswell i was told that the sweat glands on a babys face haven't properly matured and get clogged easily also if you are breastfeeding the hormones from you give them spots if you just wash her face alot they should get a bit better, hope this helps :).

I dont know whether its normal cos my baby boy need to feed him every 2 hrs. & i'm giving him 90 to 120 ml. every feeding.. Are you feeding her formula bcos maybe she doesn't like the taste like what happened to my baby when i tried to give him different formula. I think u need to observe her first but if u really worried u can ask a professional advice like the kk hotline for newborn.. their tel #- (19005568773) thats what i do when i have problem w/ my baby. at least no need to go down there & its cheaper like 80 cents per min. i think. hope it helps!

Hehe that's good!.. My friend's baby is already ok & finally went home yesterday.. OMG! ur still lucky cos ur girl wakes up only for feeding. mine is seems like so terrible. he wakes up every now & then & i dun know what to do sometimes. i thought the baby like to cry when they are hungry, wet or bloated?! plus he's awake for like 4hrs every night & the timing is really really bad like around 1am to 4am Arghh!! & one thing more, I need to sing a lullaby for him so that he can sleep. :( My goodness!!

Hey! just sent my lil boy today for his jaundice checkup & good news cos his jaundice went down to 69 level... so how's ur baby gal? hope she's ok already. Well, I know she wil be!.. My friend's baby is still in the hospital for more than 2 weeks now & I really feel bad for her especially for the baby:( I'm really hoping that her baby will be ok & can go home soon!!

Hahaha.. Same here! Can't sleep well also.. My boy gets up every 1 to 2 hrs. for feeding. Sometimes I want to cry coz it's really hard to wake up esp., when u just sleep.:( but on the other side its ok! bcos im losing weight already. like before giving birth i weighed 81 kilos. now i'm weighing 69 kilos only.hahaha so fast huh?! My problem now is my tummy it look so yucky!!its very saggy & full of stretch mark! Ewwww!!!!!

Hey! I have a 2 week old, and my milk started to dry up about 5 days ago. I just started pumping ALOT - about once an hour, drinking tons of fluid and getting more rest. Unfortunately now I am pumping almost 12 oz every 3 hours. YIKES! I hope this helps!!

My friend had a baby in September and hasn't had a period yet (she's breastfeeding). But my other friend had her baby in October and had her period back before Christmas (she's also breastfeeding). I don't know how long it'll be, but I hope it takes a long time to come back! I hate wearing pads.

U are not alone.. my baby boy has juandice also & we had 3 checkup already.:( feel pity for him everytime they do the blood test. Geez!:(Hopefully he'll be ok already the next checkup. Anyway, his jaundice level went down from 171 to 147 & the doctor says the target level is 100. Hope ur baby gal will be ok also & no more checkup for jaundice already!

CONGRATS!!! My girl is almost 6wks now and finally i can see that her jaundice is getting better... i was worried at first but now i am much more worried abt her reflux... at time she wud spit out a lot... like merlion lol... honestly u can still breasfeed her if u want... u can rotate it with formula... i did that... ur body doesnt know that u temporarily stop breastfeeding... i suggest u keep on expressing and give her a few times a day... tired?? hehehe welcome to the club... we are still recovering hahaha... my girl still wakes up every 3hrs for milk and now she has a new habit... didnt want me to put her down... will sleep for 2hrs during day time and thats it... she will sleep fm 5pm onwards... welp!

Hahaha... Congratulations on ur baby gal!! U are just 2 days ahead of me. I had my lil boy on 4 april at 11:34PM thru C-section. I was actually visited my friend that time cos she just gave birth also on 3 april. & stayed in her room while im waiting my appt time for my regular checkup. funny, cos i didn't even know that i was on labor already cos i just felt slight menstrual pain only & when my OB check my cervix found out that i was 3cm dilated but still no much pain at all even i was bleeding already.After my checkup i went back home & took a long shower & ate my dinner. Around 7pm we decided to go back to the hospital coz we're worried bcos my naughty boy wasn't really moving already.I really wanted to do a normal delivery but my OB says that it's safer for us if i'll go for c-s. I never regret that i went thru s-c as i never felt any pain hehhehe.. Lucky me!!

I had the same problem however my dr reccomened breastfeeding as usual and the giving formula after breastfeeding we went back on friday and his jaundice levels were normal when we went that wens they were high. So i would countinue breastfeeding but after each feeding also do formula it worked for us that way your baby dosent forget how to breastfeed from all the bottles.

You could eat more fatty foods which will bring up your supply I started losing my supply a week ago and I ate 3 times a day with 2 snacks. You have to eat like you did when you were pregnant you are still feeding for 2 thats one of the biggest mistake I've made when it comes to breastfeeding.
Also if your going to pump write down every time and the amount plus pump every hour and a half for a few days and your supply sure go up along with eating well.

I would pump everytime your little one eats. The pump doesn't extract as much milk as a baby does, so you might have to pump even more than that. I would also call your doctor to see if you can start bf inbetween formula feedings. I have never heard a doctor say that you couldn't bf because of jaundice! I heard you have to supplement, but not stop. I would be devestated! Don't let your milk supply get too low. You don't want to dry up. Keep me updated on what the doctor says. I would just start bf as well as formula feed, but that is me. Research it online to find out more info if you can't reach your doc today. Good luck!
