Hey everyone my names Gemma & Im 24, iv not long found out that im expecting my 1st child in Nov 08. Its really exciting! Im also quite anxious to have my scan to find out exactly how far gone I am although working back to the date of my last period i should be 6 weeks & 2 days!! Im also nervous about the whole experience especially giving birth & any advice or help would be greatly appreciated! I have had no m/s at all so far so iv been lucky! I have had really sore gums & bbs & my tummy feels quite tender & strange. My partner is really excited & happy to as are my whole family, I jst cant wait!!

Hey jst an update. Im now 9 weeks & 2 days! I felt nauseaus for the last 2 weeks although I wasnt actually sick. Now I feel fine again. Ive been reading online & there are a lots of ppl saying that this is a bad sign.....Im really worried now that I should be feeling sick :( HELP! Im not seeing the midwife until 23rd April & I cant wait as I jst want to hear the heartbeat & make sure everythings ok. I also have no idea when Im going to get my 1st scan as the doc didnt say....My gums are no longer sore & Ive bought myself some new non underwire bras which are lot comfier! I think Ive gotten used to the feeling in my tummy as its less tender. The only thing Im still having trouble with is my mood swings & Ive been quite tearful for the last couple of days. My mum wants to go out & buy things jst now, but I think we should wait. Anyone have any advice on when we should start buying??

Im now 13 weeks, had my 1st scan on Wed & it went really well. The baby was kicking & jumping & so I now feel a lot more relaxed. Im due to go back to see the midwife on 2nd June & get some more blood tests & check the heart beat as well. I thought that the pregnancy might seem really long however its going a lot quicker than I 1st thought. Im just a lot happier now than I was a few weeks ago.

Hey everyone!! im now 17 weeks, yeeeaaah!!!!! Went to see my midwife last monday, shes soooo lovely :) She listened to the heartbeat which was 130 & she also felt my womb & said that its where it should be, so thats good! I got all my blood test results back & they are all fine. My blood count was also what it should be so i am extremely happy at the moment. The other day when i was on the bus comin home from work I felt a kind of little tap on my tummy!!!!!!! So i kind of did it back & it happened again!!!!! It happened 5 times altogether & I defo think it was the baby movin!! Its so exciting!!!!!!!!!

Well Im in week 19 tomorrow & I have been feelin the baby move for 2 weeks now!! Its soooo amazin & the other nite when the baby was kicking I got stuart to put his hand on my stomach & he felt it 2!!!!!! I know it seems really early for this however the midwife said that the slimmer u are then the earlier u tend 2 feel the baby move, so that must be why. It all seems so much more real now & im really excited!!

Just back from holiday in Spain & it was excellent! Really needed the break & its done me the world of good. Im now 22 weeks pregnant & feel fab! Was at the midwife today & she found the heartbeat in 2 seconds flat. My blood pressure & everything was really good 2 so I feel even happier now. The baby has been kicking all holiday, think it really enjoyed the sunshine & the pool! Cant wait 2 find out wot am havin, need 2 wait 3 weeks.......still think its a girl though, we'll soon see!

Yay! Made it to week 23, cant believe it, it doesnt seem like it was that long ago that I had just found out, & felt terrible too, with all the sickness. Im now feelin absolutely brill & full of energy!!!!!! Only 2 weeks till I get my next scan, cant wait for that either!!!

Hey thats me reached week 25 & am sooooo excited! I just found out am having a girl! YAY!!!!! I already felt sure it was a girl so am ecstatic!!! Cant wait to get loads of pink things LOL!!!! Alls good with the baby 2 so am over the moon.

Well thats my baby now 12 weeks old, i cant believe how quickly its gone!!!! Iv not had her weighed for a couple of weeks, but she was 9lbs 2oz last time we did, so i reckon she must be well over 10lbs now!! She takes 6oz every 4 hours now & sleeps from about 11 till 8 or 9, cant believe how good she is, i hope shes this good wen i go back to work lol!! im not due to go back to work until 3rd june so iv still got lots of time to spend with her, thankfully. I dont think ill want to go back tho wen the time comes........im lovin it too much hehe!! Good luck to everyone whose not yet had there babies & congrats to all u new mums out there!! xx
