ABOUT ME

MY NAME IS TINA IM 22 AND FROM GRIMSBY IN ENGLAND. I LIVE WITH MY PARTNER DARREN WHO IS 30 AND WE HAVE BEEN 2GETHER 5 AND A HALF YRS.WE DIDNT PLAN TO HAVE A BABY BUT WE WANTED ONE AT SUM POINT BUT IT WAS NEVER THE RIGHT TIME. WE SPLIT UP THEN I CAME OFF THE PILL TO GIVE MY BODY A BREAK BUT MY PERIOD NEVER ARRIVED,MY MUM SAID IT WOULD BE MY BODY ADDJUSTING 2 COMING OFF THE PILL. 3 MONTHS DOWN THE LINE MY PERIOD STILL NEVER CAME SO I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE THE DOCTOR BECAUSE I WAS WORRIED I MAY HAVE POLYCYSTIC OVARIE SYNDROME AS I HAD ALL THE SYMPTOMS SO MY DOCTOR CASUALLY DID A ROUTINE PREGNANCY TEST AND IT PROVED POSITIVE

ARRRRGGGG!!!

I WAS IN SHOCK I DINT KNOW WHO TO TELL SO I CALLED MY SISTER THE BRAINY ONE IN THE FAMILY WHO MADE ME SEE SENSE. SHE WAS SOOOO HAPPY 4 ME EVEN THO SHE HAS PCOS AND MAY NEVER CONCEIVE. THEN I TOLD MY EX PARNER WHO IMMIDIATELY CAME ROUND AND PUT HIS ARMS AROUND ME AND BEGGED ME TO TRY AGAIN....I KNEW WHAT I WANTED AND IT WAS THE SAME. I MADE THE FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH THE MIDWIFE AND LARNED I WAS 3 MONTHS PREGNANT SO I WAS ALREADY OUT OF THE DANGER ZONE.

TELLING MY PARENTS

I TOLD MY MUM WHILE I WAS SAT WITH MY BEST FRIEND AND SHE DIDNT BELIVE ME BUT WHEN SHE DID SHE WAS SO EXCITED FOR ME. SHE HAS 5 OF HER OWN BUT WANTED 7 BUT MY DAD SAID NO! LOL. THEN I TOLD THE REST OF THE FAMILY WHO WERE ALSO PLEASED FOR ME....THEN I TOLD MY DAD!!! HE WAS LAST TO KNOW BECAUSE I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HIS REACTION BUT HE WAS FINE.

MY PREGNANCY

WELL IF I DIDNT GO TO THE DOCTOR IN THE FIRST PLACE I WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN I WAS PREGGERS. IVE HAD NO MORNING SICKNESS NO CRAVINGS NO MOOD SWINGS I JUST GET SORE BOOBS ONCE EVERY 2 DAYS AND THATS IT SO PPL SAY IM VERY LUCKY....TOUCH WOOD THIS COULD ALL CHANGE IM DUE TO HAVE A BABY BOY ON THE 2ND OF MAY 08 AND IM CALLING HIM ASHLEY

Yeah i heard that when you lay on your back it can block a major vein or something like that that can make you go unconsious. Which then can affect your baby...I'm not totally an expert on it i remember them saying it in a first aid course. hope i don't worry you, everyone i know sleeps on there back so i don't really think it's that big of deal.

Hi, I just wanted to say, when I was pregnant last time I was able to sleep best on my stomach the whole time...I never hurt and I slept better, this pregnancy is sooo different, I can't sleep on my stomach at all...I think they are all different My dr. said as long as I wasn't hurting or it didn't feel like I was putting too much pressure it was okay. He told me I would figure out what was best way for me to sleep he only recommended last trimester NOT sleeping on my back. Hope it helps.

Hi I don't think you are suppose to sleep on your stomache anymore, But check with your doctor, I have not since 16 weeks or so, my doctor told me not to.

It's about a couple that are going through really hard times. Everytime they turn around something bad is happening, and on top of it all they cannot get pregnant. They are devout christians, and begin to pray like never before, and miracles start happening. It is so awesome!!!!

hi i'm also expecting on the 2nd may congrats to you, the same thing happens to me,my husband thinks i'm teasing him him because the baby is normally kicking about and when I tell him and he puts his hand on my bump the kicking stops. never mind hopefully the baby will start to show off more from now on. goodluck.
