My baby also has stuffy nose at night. He also has frequent hiccups, or starts breathiing really fast and hard, or squirming and fussing and arching his back and grunting... It is so crazy. In addition, my husband sleeps peacfully all night while I am running around with the baby. His excuse - I am the one with breast, so what use if he would wake up to attend the baby. But you know, when it is 3 or 4 am and he is snoring happily while I can't - it is maddening:)

you and your husband fight over him too. Every time is comes to her visits we fight!!!! Oh trust me, I have horror stories abut the lies she has told about me. Or better yet exaggerated to make it look like I was abusing her. CAS came to the house because of her aligations....it is nuts!
I never thought I would have to live in fear of how a child percieves me and watch what I say and do so that she does not do one her EXAGGERATED stories. I mean these stories are nasty. She really makes me out to be an evil stepmother. My MIL does not talk to me, my husband or my other four kids because of the lies she has told. I mean I am not perfect and I like my house to run with order. And god forbid a child have chores, or be held accountable for the things she does or says. My MIL thinks that I am abusing her...HOW cause she got sent to her freaking ROOM!!!! She gets treated no different then any of my other kids!!!!
I am trying soooo hard to be the better person, but I find I end up being like a teenager and wanting to ignore her...and not have anything to do with her. I feel like such a bad person cause I feel this way. And I can't let go of the lies she has told and the shit she has stirred up with me and my husband and other people in our lives!
Trust me girl I know what it is like...and it hurts my heart like hell. I have never cried so much over a child as I have her.

This might help...when our daughter was 5 weeks old she had a nasty cold and the pediatricialong.l recomended that we put her in her car seat at night to sleep. I put her in that, and placed the whole thing in the cradle. It eleated her enough that she didn't sound so congested all night

I have the Angel monitor by Bebe Sounds... its the one with the monitor that goes under the mattress... its the best thing that i have bought... the first night home, i didn't sleep a wink, was watching her all night... so i was totally exhausted... the next night we installed the monitor and it has changed my life.. i can finally sleep and get comfort from her breathing.... i know it sounds like complete paranoia, but i am totally paranoid, so needed something to give me reassurance... this does and best money i have spent...

I have the one that has the sensor.. Xander is 11 weeks and hasnt really slept in his bed much.. the first one we took back cuz it would nt sound off if we took him out of his crib.. it should go off if there is no movement.. this second one has gone off once in the middle of the night with xander in the bed we ran so fast to his room.. and we found he had moved his way all the way to the corner of his bed.. so we thought maybe he moved out of th senor area and it did not feel any movement.. my dr said they are good but not so relieable but that they help parents sleep more then anything.. so that is our experience with it.. i like haing it.. but he sleeps in the family room with us right now.. i just order the summer time 7inche video montior.. so i am hoping tht i can put him in is room soon and get back in my bed next to my husband!!

Thank u, that has made me feel much better! Its just hard 2 communicate with him cuz he is immature about the situation but he swears he is being grown. So I'm just doing wat I gotta do whether he is around or not. Good luck with ur relationship I'm sure they will only get better 4 u!

yeah, we've had a much better day today, still using the formula but im taking some herb thing that the ped. recommended, should increase my milk supply by 900% LOL!!! I know my husband is going to love those hooters.. lol.

hey girl!! yes, come up for air is the perfect term!! Although we've had a rough week, it's been pretty cool... he's so funny w/ all his facial expressions and he looks so cute swaddled up w/ his hat on.. lol.

the breastfeeding has been a challenge, but i think today we broke ground w/ a good routine (fingers crossed!)

Be careful of nipple confusion! From what I have read, expressing after a feeding is best (baby first) and/or a couple of hours before your next feed.

Hi yari. I read your comment about the baby smushing thing. I thought it only happened to me. It's all stress-related because before my wedding I used to do weird stuff in my sleep too. When it came to exams - i did it once again. Anyway I wake up in the night frantically searching for my baby because I think I'm squashing her, meanwhile back at the ranch she's in her own cot IN HER OWN ROOM! I didn't have it last night, but have had it for 3 weeks though. I guess if you sleep and relax a bit more (when possible of course) it will help tons... now to get rid of the bad dreams at night ;)

yeah I know the feeling. We had a full house this weekend with all five kids being here. And the two young ones are soo used to being outside that they are restless..I just am not up to being outside right now. My breasts are killing me...and I am still tired. I need a little more patience ....

Thanks, but damn u waited 6 months? Lol I am just so eager 2 be myself again. Especially since it's the summer time, I am not one 2 wear clothes that hide my body but I am not up 2 anything lately...not even sex.
I hope my baby gets at least a tan. She is whiter than me it's just confusing bcuz his 1st baby is as black as him. It doesnt seem possible but her hair is starting 2 get sum curls in it so I guess that's one feature she got from him lol.
