Faith....

What to say, what to say.... I am a mother, & a wife (in that order). I am pregnant with our second child, and this has already been a trip. We have one adorable little girl named Faith Elaine, and she is the love of our life. There is nothing better to me than a lazy day spent in bed watching cartoons and eating goldfish crackers with her. Becomming a parent was the most difficult choice of my life, and yes it was a choice, do not judge me for it. But it was the best thing I ever have done. Nothing makes me prouder than she does. Nothing makes me happier than her, and my husband knows that I love her more than him. She saved me from myself. I was on a one way path of self-destruction, and she litterally pulled me away from a life I would have ended up dead from. She is my angel, and it took all I had in me to not either a) have an abortion or b) give her up for adoption. It took every ounce of faith in myself and in God that I had to trust that I could do it. Thus why her name is Faith.

....and so it is....

I have been transformed from a selfish, rude little girl, into a woman. A greatful, giving, careing woman. I love my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. My husband and i have been together for 3 years, and we have gone through a lot. He is in the Navy, and though I am prouder than hell of him for it, I am not defined by his profession. I am a wife. I am a part of the naval family, but I cannot call myself a "navy wife". I do not cheat, I do not have 6 children, I keep my home clean, I have a job, and I have a life outside of naval functions. Though i do have many friend who are connected to the Navy family, most, if not all, seem to have the same outlook as I do.
