If so, what are they?: Danny Christopher or Christopher Danny , I'm thinking of swaping the first and middle name just so when I get mad at daddy I dont have to say his name...LOL!
How much weight have you gained?: 11 lbs...I really hope its all baby....
Do you have stretch marks?: OMG...None from the pregnancy---I stay buttered up...I hate strech marks!
Have you felt the baby move?: yes, all the time -I can tell this one is going to be very hyperactive and give me some grey hairs once its here.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes...I cant grasp the idea of having someone with their own heart inside me....Weird!!!!
About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: yes
Home or hospital birth?: I dont know yet... I really want home or birthing center but It depends on my money funds......
Natural or medicated birth?: I know labor is going to be painful but I prefer natural...women have done it since humans have been around. Why can't I?
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: my boyfriend and my mom.
Will you breastfeed?: Yup!
Do you think you'll need a c-section?:
I dont know, But I really hope not! Like i said natural is better. Most hospitals perform these just to get you out of the way even when u don't need one. Besides they take longer to heal and ur belly will never be the same again...
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: More than likely....I dont even want to think about it...it makes me feel like crying.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: I dont know. I will know when he/she is in my arms
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: I dont think so I'm not going to watch it and I'm pretty sure my baby wont want to see that side of me once he/she gets older....LOL!
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Im exited, apprehensive and anxious all at once.

Here in the UK we see a midwife right throughout pregnancy, delivery and also for a few weeks after birth when they come our homes to check the baby is healthy and to answer any questions that us mums might have about our newborns.

I have to admit I'm really glad to be in the care of a midwife, they are total experts/specialists in their field and there seems to be nothing my midwife doesn't know or hasn't experienced throughout her years of practice. During delivery my midwife will be there (but in the hospital setting) to help me give birth, if there are any complications e.g. breech birth then an OB/GYN will be available to assist.

What options do you have in the USA?

ok...great, that makes sense, I am 19 weeks pregnant now with my first and my bump is far from impressive, it looks more like i'm in serious need of the toilet! ha! my belly button hasn't changed yet either, so i hope everything is ok... I have my 20 week u/s on the 14th so I'll soon find out.

Thanks Voliet for your advice, sorry i dind't respond sooner. I think the whole thing was really gettting to me. We found out we are having a boy last week

. MY boyfriend's attitude has changed so much, his very attentive and caring now. I think he was going thru some kinda pregnancy phase. Thanks again for your advice
