Hey everyone! I'm a first time mom, just graduating last year from college with a degree in Nutrition (helpful for my post-pregnancy weight, lol). Honestly, when I found out I was pregnant, which was on Easter, I was very sad and dissapointed. I had just found out I had been accepted into a Master's program with an internship in order to become a registered dietitian. Yet, I am glad after having Sydney, she is the most wonderful thing in my life right now. I am glad for the chance to have her, and each day she brings me new joy and laughs because she is always learning new things. My life has changed so much, and I have to take everything in stride, she's not the only one learning!

6. How did you find out you were pregnant? pregnancy test- 3 of them :)

10. Did you have any morning sickness? Yes! It was the most horrible thing ever! I could barely eat the first 3 months!
11. What did you crave? Not really much of anything, maybe ice cream a bit more than usual

14. Did you wish you had the opposite sex of what you were getting? No way, I'm so glad I got a girl, she's so much fun to dress up!
15. How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy? 24 lbs, not a lot, I was under a LOT of stress
16. Did you have a baby shower? yes, 2
17. Was it a surprise or did you know? both planned
18. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? no, it was perfect
19. Where did you give birth? Kishwaukee Community Hospital, flat screen TV, nice large room!
20. How many hours were you in labor? 13
21. Who drove you to the hospital? my mom, but I wasn't in labor, I got induced
22. Who watched you give birth? my mom and husband
23. Was it natural or c-section? natural
24. Did you take medication to ease the pain? ugh, I wish, I asked for the epideral, and as soon as he came in to give it I was 10cm and she just popped right out
25. Who was the first to see your child after s/he was born besides you and his/her dad? family and friends
26. How long was your stay at the hospital? like, 2 nights 3 days, not including the night she was born
27. How much did your child weigh? 5lb 13oz
28. When was your chld actually born? 11/5/08
29. What did you name him/her? Sydney Claire York
30. How old is your first born today? 6 1/2 months

Thank you all who commented on my last blog.. your comments were sweet... diet is going good today =) and dh and I spent the day hanging christmas lights so I got my workout climbing my roof! lol.

so since I may be stuck w a c-sec, I was wondering if anyone could tell me whats the scar like? superficial I know but, when im not preg I am really into keeping my body fit, and with my son who was natural...as soon as I had him my tummy was flat! I heard this isnt the case with a section, so if anybody can give me ANY personal exp Id appreciate it! ty!
