The start of TTC journey for baby #2

TTC SURVEY, Our First month of TTC since our 17 month old daughter has been born! TRYING FOR # 2 :

All the ladies in my friends network were blogging this survey to me, so I figured, I rarely blog, let me get in on this blogging stuff, it seems fun : )

1.Name of the future mummy to be? Dana Rose

2. Name of the future daddy to be?: Adam Lee

3. How long have the future parents been together? We met in December 2002, Got engaged in March 2006, and married in February 2007.

4. When did you start trying to conceive?: MAY 2009 (this is our first month TTC again)!

5. What is the hardest part of T.T.C?: HAVING NO PATIENCE, I HATE THE 2WW, AND THE WHOLE STRESS OF WONDERING IF WE ARE PREGNANT! I JUST WANT IT TO HAPPEN SO FAST, I NEED TO BE MORE PATIENT.

6. What does the future mommy want to have?: We have a 17 month old girl, FIRST we want healthy and happy, and I actually would be happy with a boy or a girl! Either one is a huge blessing to us!

7. What does the future daddy want to have?: Healthy, but I actually think he wants another girl! AWWWWWW

8. Is there a certain month or season you'd like to have the baby in?: I know I do not want to carry a baby in my third trimester in the summer. I liked giving birth to Lia in January, that was a nice time.

9. What are you looking forward to most when you finally conceive?: Making a sibling for Lia, I think she will be such a great big sister. Also having that baby bump is fun too : )

10. What has been the best thing about the T.T.C. process? Making sweet lovin' with my papi, or as we call it, BD'ing

11. Pick out any names yet, for when the big day comes? Well if it is a boy, definitely probably Jake. My DH likes the name Sara for a girl.

12. Do you use Ovulation Tests?: NO, just over 2 years ago when we first started TTC Lia, I bought the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor for like 100 bucks. I NEVER got the chance to use it cause we were lucky enough to conceive her after only trying for 2 cycles. But I will use it next cycle if I didn't conceive this month. It is one of those monitors that I really have to dedicate alot of time to though. I gotta pee every morning starting the 1st day of my AF, up until the next AF. This machine tells you what your most fertile days to BD are and stuff so We'll see if I get to use it this time!

13. What does the future daddy do to help you with T.T.C. process? He is just very sensitive to all my feelings and knows when I need him to be there for me! He is very supportive and cute through the whole TTC journey! I can't wait to go through another pregnancy with him.

14. How long do you plan on continuing the T.T.C process?: As long as it takes to conceive another blessing. Hopefully we conceive quick. PLEASE LORD!

15. Have you had your pre-conceiving physical?: No, I take my prenatal vitamins though! Hmmmm what should I have done for a physical? I feel healthy enough : )

16. Have you started buying some baby stuff?: No, I am always buying stuff for Lia though, so I think I would be looked at like a freak if I did. My family would be like what the hell is your problem. HaHa

17. Will you consider In-Vitro or any other type of Infertility medicine?: Not Sure!

18. What things do you do to check for when your fertile?: This month was our first month of TTC so I kept it simple, I only looked for CM, I did not check BBT or CP, but if we aren't preggers this month I will chart everything next month and try a little harder : ) With Lia the second month of trying was our lucky month. So if no luck this cycle, I will do everything I did with Lia and hope for a July BFP.

19. How many children would you like to have?: 2 definitely, 3 and 4 is a maybe, and 5 probably not, but you never know!

20. Any books that you've read that have been helpful?: I read all the week by week pregnancy books. I like to know what my body is going through as the weeks go on!

21. Have you made any BIG changes in your life to help you conceive? I take my prenatal vitamins and I try to go for lots of walks and exercise.

22. Have you abstained from alcohol and drugs? Yes, I do not drink or smoke, but I do drink coffee still, and if I find out I am preggers, I will cut the coffee to only about 8 oz's a day. Right now I am still drinking on average, about 24 oz's a day!

23. Are you healthy enough to be pregnant?: I sure do hope so, I feel healthy!

24. Do you really think you're ready to be a parent?: Yes, we already have a wondeful baby girl Lia. She made us the happiest people on earth. Another baby would add to that happiness.

25. So if you unfortunately do not conceive, then what?: I will not give up! EVER, unless a doctor tells me I can't. I don't even want to think about not being able to conceive again.

Lia Turned 7 months old on August 12, 2008! Time is going by so fast, soon she will be cutting teeth and crawling!!

BELOW IS THE UPDATES FROM MY FIRST PREGNANCY, WE HAD LIA ROSE JAN. 12TH 2008, WE WILL BE TTC AGAIN IN THE SPRING OF 2009. HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH ALL! I HAVE BEEN BACK TO WORK, I WISH I WAS HOME WITH LIA THOUGH! I BREASTFED FOR 3 MONTHS, BUT MY SUPPLY OF MILK WAS VERY LOW, SO I ALSO FEED LIA GOOD START NATURAL CULTURES FORMULA, SHE IS ALMOST 6 MONTHS OLD AND EATING CEREAL AND #1 FOODS STILL. SHE HAS HER 6 MONTH CHECK-UP COMING UP VERY SOON! LOVE, DANA : )

ON THE 28th OF AUGUST 2007 WE FOUND OUT AT 20 WEEKS WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL : )

Hi my name is Dana! My husband, Adam, and I recently got married on Feb. 18, 2007. We started TTC that night : ) We found out May 8th 2007 that we are pregnant. I used (3) dollar tree pregnancy tests, the day I was due for my AF. All 3 of them came out a faint positive, but very visible line. I thought I was seeing things! So today, May 9th, I bought an EPT test and we are also positive on the EPT. I am just so happy, I am very early on and my symptoms are, crampy abdominal, runny nose, I am getting a cold, My boobs are so much more sore than they are when AF visits! They hurt to the touch, very sensitive nipples, emotions are under control, just a little moody! I had a big bowl of pasta a few nights ago and literally like 3 hours later, I was hungry, I ignored the feeling, but now I know why I was hungry looking back on it. I feel hungry, and thirsty! I am going to miss my coffee! I have tingles in my stomach, like throbbing. When I get more symptoms I will post them! I wish you all luck with TTC and with your pregnancies!

May 13, 2007: Well today is Sunday, I am at work right now! It is such a nice day out! Adam and I told his parents we were pregnant yesterday, they were happy, but they are very supersticious, they said it is so early. We know that, but we wanted our parents to know how happy we are! We told my parents on the 8th! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you mommies! I called my Grandma and told her the good news today too! I still have the same symptoms as above, little throbbing in my abdominal, that is all, I feel great! I went to the gynocologist yesterday. I took a urine test in the office, it came out positive, then the doctor took a look inside and said it all looks great, my cervix is turning blue, they said that is normal and a sign of pregnancy! So far so good! I have the first sonogram in 2 weeks! I have to get my blood taken in the next couple days!

May 29, 2007: Today I went for my first sonogram with my hubby and my mom. The babies heartbeat was 130 beats per minute, THANK GOD! Is it true that in that range there is a good chance that it can be a boy, since boys heart rates are a little slower than girls? It was such a great feeling to see that heartrate on the screen, I was so releived. My doctor said that everything looked fine, our next sonogram is at 11 weeks, we will have the ultra screen, where they prick my finger and check the babies neck to make sure it's healthy. We hope and pray that will go smooth too. My boobies are really starting to hurt bad!

July 3, 2007: Today was my 2nd sonogram, the baby measured at 12 weeks, the heart beat is 167 beats per minute. The doctor wants me to eat right, gave me a meal print out of things I should be eating, I already gained 5 pounds. I go back for the 3rd sonogram July 31st, my doctor said my cervix and placenta are a little too close together, so he wants to see me in 4 weeks to make sure they separated. He said he sees this alot but wants to be sure, so I will be 16 weeks during my 3rd sono. I am excited, maybe we will be able to detect the sex then too. First I hope everything is still going good, then if I can find out the sex, that is just an added bonus. Have a great day all!!

July 31, 2007: Today was our 3rd sonogram, and the issue with my placenta being too close to my cervix that was seen on the 12 week sonogram is resolved, my placenta has moved to it's correct location, so I am healthy and everything is going great so far. The sono tech. said that it was too soon to tell the sex, so August 28th is our anatomy sonogram, I will be 20 weeks then. My doctor said that if the baby cooperates we will know the sex, and we will also get an up close look at all the extremities, like the hands and feet, make sure we see all ten toes and fingers, and basically just get a look at everything and make sure the baby is developing the way it should. I can't wait to find out what we are having. My profile picture is one of my 16 week pictures, it's a side profile pic. Hope all is well with you all!

AUGUST 28, 2007: Well today we had our 20 week anatomy sonogram, everything was normal and looked great with the baby! We are having a baby girl. We are very excited! She weighs 12 ounces, her heart beat was 154 BPM. She was moving around and opening her mouth and drinking the amniotic fluid, it was so cute to see. I am so glad that everything with the baby is normal and healthy, THANK YOU GOD! We are so greatful for this blessing. I have gained more weight than I hoped to so far, I have to stay away from salts cause my blood pressure was a slight bit high! I already drink lots of water so I just have to try and eat healthier. I thought I was, but guess not good enough! I love my sweets though! Hope you all are having great pregnancies, and for all of you TTC good luck with that! Dana

Have you heard the heartbeat?:	Seen it at 6 week 2 day sonogram, and heard it for the first time at our 16 week sonogram appointment! I also have a doppler at home, I listen to her heartbeat everyday to make sure she is ok, she is always between 145-160 BPM.

Just had appoinment with the midwife and both boys are head down. Twin one has already droped to so he will now stay head down. This now means I can refer to them by name when I feel them move instead of calling then twin one and twin two. Everything else is great. Although I did fail my GTT and now have GD. I just really hope that I can diet control it like I did with DD.

Thanks to all that sent the address, I saved them on my list to send them out to you all for christmas. On a good nate and not pregnancy related, which I feel like I am giving birth and so anxious, I also went to another camera store today, and bought a lighting kit, very professional too. Got the 2 umbrella stand and one light backdrop. And of course I have the reflector too. Now I just need to get a backdrop with some fabric. I get my new lens in 4 days. Woo-Hoo.

Had my first scan yesterday since the baseline scan and I have 3 follicles on each side. Of course the biggest ones are on my left (blocked) side. Size 10,11,13 and my my right side I have 3 all measuring a size 8. I started my injectables last night so I hope that will help plump up the three on my good side. I go back for another scan in the morning.
