Hey Everyone,
Well a little about me first, I am 22 almost 23 engaged young mum to be, My fiance Aaron and I are so excited about our first baby and class this as our little miracle baby as we both were told we couldnt have children and so understood each other but then out came this little miracle which we cant wait to arrive, I am currently almost 11 Weeks, almost passed the first trimester, WOOH!! but boy has it been a touch one, with bouts of fainting and hospital visits, and when did mornign sickness become 24/7 sickness?? Hehehe, anyway i can't wait to hold the little one in my arms, but as any normal first mum to be i am very nervous and just looking for some mums to be to relate to.. Anyway leave me some comments and we will go from there

How did ur parents react?: Mum Cried How did his parents react?: Weren't Too Happy Are they helping with baby names?: Mum is.. Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: Yep, Quite a bit of stuff How often do they call to check on u?: See mum everyday, Only speak to Aaron's Mum once a week or so About the pregnancy! When was ur first appointment?: With a doctor.. It was 2 Days after i found out from a pregnancy test When is ur due date?: September 30th but did just get changed to 23rd of September How far along r u?: between 19-21 Weeks.. Pre-pregnancy weight?: Umm not sure Weight now?: 111.1kg Have u had an unltrasound?: Yep Have u heard the heartbeat?: Yep What was the heartbeat?: 134 bpm Sex of the baby! What do u want?: A healthy baby What does the daddy want?: Girl What do u think u r having?: Boy Have u had ur big ultrasound yet?: Yep 9th of May If so, what r u having?: We didnt want to know the sex Are u happy with what u r having?: As above... About the birth! Do u know what u r taking with u?: Yep Who is going to be with u?: Aaron & Mum Are u going to videotape it?: Parts of it, Like cutting the Cord and First Cry Natural or medicated?: Not sure yet, depends how i am handling it. Do u think u will need a c-section?: Possibly since my Mum needed 3 Will u cry with u hold ur baby for the first time?: Deffinantly Do u know what u will say to the baby when u first hold him/her?: hey my little Man/Woman Are u scared about the labor?: Extremely.. I hate pain.. Names!! Do u have a name picked out?: We have a list of names picked out lol Girl names...: Savannah, Harmonee, Shylah Boy names...: Declan, Kai, Cooper, Jaxon Is ur baby going to be named after someone?: Possibly my brother Other random questions!! Where was ur baby conceived?: My aunties house funnily enough lol Have you felt the baby move?: I think so.. a couple of times.. What race will your baby have? From you and daddy?: Aussie Do you have stretch marks?: Yes a few What was your first symptom?: Morning sickness severely!! What religion will the baby know? And from what side?: Probably Uniting What music or interests do you want the baby to know?: Just to be open to everything and anything.. not judgemental Will ur baby have godparents?: Yep deffinantly.. I'm glad to hear that your scan went great!! Lol, on it's tummy... thats cute! There's nothing to worry about hey. I'm glad to hear that you didn't find out! The surprise at the end is worth the wait. It never 100% accurate. There's nothing like seeing your bub inside. My scan at 14 weeks for nuchal toc was crazy. My baby was laying curled up in a ball with its back to the u/s tech. She left the room twice to see if the pics were ok, but then the head tech came in and he got one pic before the baby turned! They are unpredictable.
I had a pretty ordinary mothers day. My partner was working, but we are gonna have mothers day this sunday coming! I'm glad to hear that you had a great mothers day. Next year it will be for real. Your still a mummy when your pregnant. Hopefully you can change your date, you'll see your bub sooner! What are you hoping for? I'll check out your names on your profile.

Glad to hear all is ok! There is nothing to worry about with scans. How did you scan go anyway? Pregnancy is very overwhelming! Did you end up finding out? It is tempting to know isn't it. from what i've heard, they'll usually tell you when to look away. make sure you let them know BEFORE you start that you dont want to know.

oh im glad everything got sorted out and i concentrate on the negatives too i gues that way if ihink the worst i wont be as diopointed..?.. my next ultrasound is next wednesday ill be 20 weeks then.. and yeah were gonna find out what were having..i couldnt notknow! let me know how things went today xx all the best

Just tell them you don't want to know and when they are measuring the legs etc just don't look! LOL
We weren't finding out either but changed our minds once there.
Oh and I was born and spent the first 14 years of my life in bendigo!

for an ultrasound technician or your doctor it would be pretty easy to determine the gender at 19 weeks. most of what you see on an ultrasound you may not recognize without your doctor explaining it. it takes awhile to learn how to identify what you see on an ultrasound. i think you will be safe if you inform you doc or the technician that you dont want to know.

I'm having a boy and I could see quite clearly on the screen, maybe ask the person doing it if they can tell you to avert your eyes when they're checking out that part of him/her ??

Hi yummy mummys. im having twins, and am 19 weeks, and im not that big, my friend who is having one was alot bigger than me at this stage. also YOUNGMUMMY2BE i went for a scan at 6 weeks and there was just one baby...i went back at 12 wks and they sed ther was 2! lol. so it cud be possible. best of luck either way x x

i read ur comment on twin pregnancy..
well wheni had my 6 week u/s it showed 1 baby..
and when i went again for u/s coz i was having some bleeding at around 8 weeks we saw the other baby..

Yes, you can still have twins in there. My friend went in and got an ultrasound and had one in there...a month and a half later she fell on her stomach really hard and went into the hospital and they are like, "oh, this is a twin pregnancy?" and she's like...UH??? haha. It's possible, they should be able to tell better this time because they have to look more closely to look for problems and do all the fun measurements...good luck and fingers crossed for twins! : )

Hi There,
Yes it is possible there could be 2 babies in there. Sometimes they don't show up until later on us depending on their position. Have you been feeling movement? We found out I am having twins at an u/s at 16 weeks. We thougth I was 18 Weeks and I was still big for that stage. I have been feeling them for 6 weeks now so since about 13 weeks or so. The first few weeks just very tiny flutters but now they are very obvious and have been since about 17 weeks. Also, do you measure correctly at the doctors? I measured further the whole time however we thougth I was 2 weeks further in the pregnancy too so it wasn't as obvious. Let me know how your u/s goes. Good Luck!

Congrats, im in week 15 with you. There is no need to be alarmed about not getting an ultrasound. It all depends on the doc. My first I didnt get an ultrasound until i was 5 months. This time around, i get one everytime, the doc has the machine in her room so that she doesnt have to do Vag exams every visit. I like it better this way.

Hey there,
Don't worry about not feeling the baby yet. I know lots of people say they feel the baby, but for most of us that's not the case because the baby is still very small. We should definitely be feeling it between weeks 17-20.

well I've had so many because I'm high risk. don't worry that you won't have one until 19 weeks. that is totally normal. you have the first one to make a date and then maybe only two more the whole time! that is normal. I have a great doctor though who wants to make sure she is on top of everything so that's why we are doing so many. don't worry though. you are very normal!
