March 15, 2008 - Positive! I can't believe it! We've been trying for a year already and finally this has just got to be real! After diagnosed with PCOS last Ooctober last year and 1 failed IUI attempt last December, our prayers has been answered. And eversince, we have already been fond of naming our baby - YUKI...

March 23, 2008 - Yuki is now 6 weeks. In the afternoon after celebrating Easter Sunday mass, I had spotting. and despite our efforts to save Yuki, our little one just let go.

YUKI, thank you for the brief moments you have touched our lives. I am sorry I failed and I hope you give me another chance to love and care for you soon. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH...

Hi there, thanks for your lovely message. It really is such a difficult experience - it's weird, but right from the start I was worried, even though our 8 week scan was fine and I had no signs that something was wrong. It all seemed too good to be true and it turned out that it was. Still, we feel very blessed and grateful that our little baby hung in there for long enough for us to know what was wrong with it... that way we'll know what to look out for next time... i just pray we get pregnant again soon... it's what is keeping me sane!
I hope you are well, I'm sorry for your loss too... hopefully we'll both be on the journey to parenthood again soon! Take care and keep me posted! :-)

That is really cool that you have got to work in different countries. I got to study in Europe and always wanted to work in Switzerland but we still have a lot of family ties here. Keep me posted and best of luck!

I am actually in a very large firm here and we travel all over the eastern U.S. Work does stay very busy and we are in a time of growth right now. We focus on large commercial projects (retierment and hospitality) that take 8 months to 3+ years per phase. Some times I am more stressed than others this past fall was hard on me and it looks like this one comming up is going to be the same. This pase Oct/ Nov I was traveling for the whole month; so stuff like that is not good for baby making. We have a lot of women that work here so I hope one day being pg here will not be so bad. However we have only had one girl actually have a baby within my division and she didn't get any breaks. Sometimes things can be so competitive around here. I am hoping to get Licenced soon for design and general contractor ... How about you?

Thanks for the comment. The doctor called today and said that there is still a small chance that everything is ok and not to give up hope yet. However, because of the dating, this would mean that I got pregnant 8 days after a positive ovulation test and that doesn't make sense. Oh well. I am keeping everything crossed and trusting God with this. My three boys all have extensive medical issues, so I have also put in my order with God for a perfectly healthy one. Baby blessing to you....

I am sorry for your loss. I m/c at 13 weeks in December, and it was a very hard time for us.
My doctor didn't say to wait a certain amount of time (other than healing after D&C) but just to make sure I was emotionally ready. Well, I decided I wasn't going to start actively trying again until May, but wouldn't you know it, I got pregnant in February, before I even had a completely normal cycle.
Your nerves will never be the same, but there is hope after a m/c. I will be thinking about you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I know what you are feeling right now and it pains me that you have to go through this horrible experience. I had a m/c on Dec. 14 and my dr wanted us to wait 1 full cyce. I had a d&c and my period came 6 weeks later. Well.....I am now almost 6 weeks pregnant. It only took 3 months (2 months of trying) to concieve again. I am still really nervous and won't feel like i'm in the clear for awhile but it is possible and I know it will happen to you too! You are in my thoughts.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm a little over 4 weeks and had some abdominal pains too. I called my doctor and was told as long as there was no bleeding, then everything is okay. This is my first baby, so of course I want to make sure everything is okay. I suggest you give your doctor a call just to ease your mind. Again, CONGRATS GIRLY and I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly! God Bless!
