Welcome to my page! I am very excited to be pregnant with my 4th child, and third son! His name is Lazaro Deejae and his estimated date of delivery is August 20, 2008! He will be my second Leo! =)

7/28/08: Well I am 2 days short of being 37 weeks and I can feel SOMETHING happening...not labor yet but something! It's sooo exciting! I feel like a constant pressure down low and it doesn't go away no matter what I do. Yay! My ob-gyn doc will strip my membranes this Thursday (8/31) if I'm dilated. I can't wait to meet my 4th child and 3rd little boy! EVERYTHING is ready for him!

7/31/08: I had my 37 week appointment today and am measuring 38 inches. I am only 1 centimeter dilated but I'm glad it's not ZERO centimeters!! I guess that is what was happening on Monday night when I felt the bloated pressure feeling down low. My doc stripped the membranes gently since I was only 1 centimeter dilated but I've got another appointment next Wednesday on August 6th. I think my little guy will be out before then but my mom thinks I'm nuts and feels that he'll be staying in until the due date. But my other three all came out before the due date so I think there's a good chance I'll be meeting Lazaro face to face in the next week. I HOPE SO anyways IF he is ready to do so... I know he is practicing his sucking and swallowing skills but he is definitely no expert because he gets the hiccups SEVERAL times per day! Okay that's it for now...I am extremely bored and wish there was something else left in this house to clean. And my feet are so swollen I can't wear any of my shoes...only my MAN slippers fit so I don't really feel like leaving the house....BOREDOM!!!

8/6/08: I had my 38 week appointment today and am now only 1.5 centimeters dilated. The doctor couldn't find my cervix for a little bit which was scary but I guess my little man i still really high up there. But since he's my 4th, I guess it's normal for him not to "drop" until right before labor time.

8/7/08: Lost my plug! And I'm trying not to get too excited. I'm 38 weeks and one day...

to answer your due date question.....it's leap year! the dr used his little dial thingy to calculate our due dates and didn't take the extra day into consideraion. my dr tells me i'm due the 19th of august which is a tuesday, my last period started on a monday therefore the due date would also be a monday. to find your true date you have to subtract the day that leap year added! so the site is the more correct date. :o)

OH, well in that case, since he hasn't flipped yet, wait til he does! Then he'll be kickin ya in the ribs alright! lol It hurts too, I don't care what they tell ya, uncomfortable isn't the word if you have a kicker in there! :) Won't be too much longer we have to wait til that being out of breath feeling goes away..when they drop down before delivery we'll be able to breath again!

I feel the hiccups in my bikini area and between my legs. Very weird I know! My little girl is also head down so maybe that is why.

My baby has been head down every time we have had an u/s done. I feel his hiccups very low in my belly. But, the u/s always show that he is super super low in my belly, so much so that they have a hard time seeing the top of his head. I would think that if you are feeling them below the belly button, your baby has probably turned around... but, of course, even if he hasn't there is still plenty of time for him to turn - so, listen to your Dr. and don't worry!! :)
