Ok so a little bit about me. I am 25 years old. I have been with my husband for 3 years in Aug, we got married last 4th of July. We have been trying to have a baby since Sept 2007 and it finally happened!!! I was pregnant when I was 18 years old. My beautiful son was born on Oct 10 2001, but he passed on to the next life on Jan 3 2002, he had a brain tumor. But now we will get to have a baby and it will be great. I can't explain how excited we are. I have two dogs, and three cats. They all are very aware of me, as they are all super gentle with me now.

I have had two ultra sounds one at 5 weeks, one at 7 weeks, and I go again on the 20th of July for another one. We will see I love seeing my little bean.

My poor little boy! I think he's teething again cause he's supposed to be taking a nap and instead he's just sitting in there screaming and nothing I do helps. I gave him some teething tablets this morning cause he was nawing on his finger back by his molars;its obviously not helping. Might be time to break out the big guns...ibuprofen! I'm hoping he cries himself to sleep right now...I don't know what else to do!?!

Thank you! I am doing good...off and on. I still have some crazy moments, but I think I can chalk that up to exhaustion instead of just hormones. Thanks for asking. How are you doing? Not too much longer to go! Are you getting excited or nervous or probably both? Hope you have a great day!

Selah laughed today! It was shocking to me cause it didn't sound like a baby laugh; it was a very grown up laugh. A great birthday present for me today!

Hey ladies. I gave birth to my daughters at 31 weeks on Sunday Morning. I have been in hospital all this time. Carmen Leigh weighed 3lb 10 and Sophia Elizabeth weighed 3lb 6. I was in labour start to finish for 6 hours with an epidural. I am home now but very sadly without my babies which are in Special Care Baby Unit. They probably won't be home for 4 weeks. I will upload pics when I get a chance!

Thanks everyone for the encouragment. I am doing better this morning. Selah slept better last night so I was able to catch up on some much needed rest which was probably my problem in the first place. Then I was able to take a very long bath this morning which felt wonderful. But then as I was getting out I slipped and broke or fractured my toe...funny (not really). So that is making me do nothing today which is what I planned to do anyways, but I think God in a way made it so I absolutely wouldn't do anything. It is feeling better though. Thanks for all your support and encouragment.

Hey everyone, sorry to be a downer...but I just am needing some encouragement. I think I'm struggling with a touch of the "baby blues". I'm probably doing too much with trying to keep up with my house, my toddler, the new baby, the cooking, and trying to at least look "normal"(makeup, hair, clothes). You know what I mean? My hubby is driving me crazy right now. I know he's tired too, but I need help...I'm the one recovering from surgery and I'm the one breastfeeding and I'm the one who's hormones are going buzz-erk! Help! I just need someone to lift me up...

He has never measured. He's only heard the heartbeat. Since I only go once a month right now, I've only seen him a few times. My first appt we had an U/S. And back then of course it was too early to check for weight or height, etc. Next appt, no U/S, but they heard the heartbeat and felt my uterus. Next 2 appts, he said it was too soon to measure. Next appt we had the U/S and so they took measurements there but no weight or total measurement was provided. Then, my last appt, he heard the heartbeat and said that the NEXT appt is when he starts to measure. But he said he doesn't really do it too much because it's a gross estimate. I definitely feel harder kicks and movements now, they are getting stronger and stronger so I guess that's good.

I don't think I get a U/S on my next visit though... I'm not sure if they have a way of checking how the baby is laying without an U/S. My doc even told me I might not get another U/S if everything goes well. He said if everything is good then there is no medical reason for one. = I hear people here get ultrasounds like crazy. My doc said he'd do it but it wouldn't be covered under my insurance as it's not medically required. pft. hopefully they can tell without one which way she's laying before the birth!
