Kia Ora, Hello!

My name is Zavana and im 22 years old and expecting my first child with my handsome partner Hamish.

Though our baby wasnt planned for this year,

it is still a blessing to be able to have him a year earlier!

I live in New Zealand and would love to chat with people from the same place.

I have been on this site ever since I found out I was pregnant, but have decided to join so I can chat to others about arising problems or concerns.

The week after that I had found out that I was pregnant ( Jan. 23rd was the day i found out) the morning or shall i say all day sickness kicked in. I had it from 7 weeks till about 14 weeks. Apart from that everything seems to be trucking along normally. :)

My Midwife is my partners Auntie in which is great, as she is a family member and I get to see her all the time unlike the other midwifes here in NZ in which seems to be so booked with others, that when you have an appointment with them, your time limited.

I AM LUCKY!

I am considering having a water birth at home, as the saying goes

" Theres no place like home!"

I finally felt my baby kick for the first time April 22nd. What an amazing experience it is to be able to feel this life inside of me kick and move around. And FINALLY Hamish was able to feel our baby move on the outside on June 19th!

Just wish sometimes that he wouldnt play soccer when im trying to get to sleep after work! :)

July 1st- Noticed my nipples starting to leak..Something that totally took me by suprize!

I like few, and hubby likes some but we don't like the same ones, ha,ha. Well I think there's two names we agree on, but we are not sure those are the ones we are actually going to use. So we are in a similar situation!
I'm sure you'll find yours on time! We still have some time to look for names, but Ah, it's so difficult to find one we both like or even better one we love!

You would think that my place is wonderful fromthe amount of work I have been doing but don't forget that I have two little ones chasing me messing it up right after I clean. I haven't gotten a single thing for this one as I still have all my stuff from the last two BUT I should probably pull out the smaller clothes for him, get Travis a new carseat so the baby can have his infant one... so much and seems like so little time. I am only being induced as I had my last child in 53 mins and the Dr doesnt want to risk me having this one at home LOL. I'll know more as the weeks come. I have been feeling like crap the last two days though. I have been asked to take extra iron which has bound me up quite a bit and ysterday and today I have been in so much pain from not going... I have taken so many softeners, and laxitives that I should have been empty... I've gone but I am not empty yet LMAO (sorry tmi) gtrrr... I can't wait to get this last one done. Enjoying it but will enjoy having my complete family more!!!

Does she explain you how the rocking chair helps the baby to moves into the birth canal? sounds interesting!
Anyway, I'm glad your baby is in the right position, and you have few more weeks to go!

things are going good and you? FINALLY saw the OB that delivered my other two babies and will be seeing him from now on (was seeing family DR) and he says that he will probably induce me at 38 weeks so i don't give birth at home seeing as my last one came in 53 mins... nice cause I have been so uncomfortable and sore the past while. Nesting now and have cleaned my entire place as well as decorating and thinking about painting, alhough hubby wont let me. How have you been? How are you feeling these days... been awhile since we chatted it up!

hey there
im good thanks, how have you been? things are going well here. bub is healthy. had an ultrasound last week and she measured to be due on the 9th of october which times in with LMP but hospital is going by my 7 week ultrasound which puts her due on the 22nd....soo im a lil confused on which to go by but i think i'll keep going by the 9th, comes earlier lol.
