Kia Ora, Hello!
My name is Zavana and im 22 years old and expecting my first child with my handsome partner Hamish.
Though our baby wasnt planned for this year,
it is still a blessing to be able to have him a year earlier!

I live in New Zealand and would love to chat with people from the same place.
I have been on this site ever since I found out I was pregnant, but have decided to join so I can chat to others about arising problems or concerns.
The week after that I had found out that I was pregnant ( Jan. 23rd was the day i found out) the morning or shall i say all day sickness kicked in. I had it from 7 weeks till about 14 weeks. Apart from that everything seems to be trucking along normally. :)
My Midwife is my partners Auntie in which is great, as she is a family member and I get to see her all the time unlike the other midwifes here in NZ in which seems to be so booked with others, that when you have an appointment with them, your time limited.
I AM LUCKY!
I am considering having a water birth at home, as the saying goes
" Theres no place like home!"
- I finally felt my baby kick for the first time April 22nd. What an amazing experience it is to be able to feel this life inside of me kick and move around. And FINALLY Hamish was able to feel our baby move on the outside on June 19th!
Just wish sometimes that he wouldnt play soccer when im trying to get to sleep after work! :)
- July 1st- Noticed my nipples starting to leak..Something that totally took me by suprize!

Zavana-
I hear yoga is really good for pain. Maybe you could learn a few stretches and just do them on your breaks for a couple of minutes. That and lumbar support for your chair?
I am getting excited. Pretty unbelievable to me that Im going to have my own baby!!! Wow!!! It's really amazing. What an amazing moment it will be when we are handed our babies to hold for the very first time.

hi yeah, have been in the wars for the last week and am so sick of doctors!Nothing major, sinus headaches causing blurred vision, external haemmorroids bleeding ( only concerning due to O- blood type, pubic symphysis (ligament between pelvic bones at front overstretched).
It has just been one of those weeks. Should be fine now.

he was a good size when he was born - average is usually 7lbs 8oz
I gained what your supposed to they say 35lbs i gained 38lbs but it was all belly and boobs
you'll see why you'll miss the belly when u have the baby! its just weird cuz the lived in u for nine months you felt them move in you hiccup, kick everything and it kinda like a bond you cant phyiscally cant have anymore
so u miss it
yeh everyone said the glucose test washorrible i didnt think it was that bac mind u i do have a sweet tooth lol
things are good busy Keegans teething and his sleepings bein thrown off

Well that's right around the corner. I enjoy surprises too, but when it comes to my first kiddo I need to get items we requested. That way we won't have lots of repeats as well as clothes that she can't wear for months! We've already purchased furniture for the nursery. I am doing okay. My aunt is very ill and her cancer has spread all over her body so we are all pretty heartbroken over the news. She was so excited about the baby too so I am hoping she is here to meet her, but from what the doctors say it is not looking good. Besides that I am looking forward to my shower this weekend! I too am in awe of how fast our weeks have went by. Soon we will be mothers.......WOW....now I am getting nervous!

in my dream i said goodnight austin i love you and from his basinet he said i love you too mum it felt so real that i woke up and i was looking at him.
