Hi everybody, in this blog, I will tell you almost everything about my pregnancy and about my new life here in the U.S.A, indeed I just moved since last August 1st to live with my wonderful love Hiram... I hope you will enjoy this blog, don't hesitate to give me your comments ;)

Coucou tout le monde! dans ce blog, je vais vous raconter presque tout a propos de ma grossesse et de ma nouvelle vie aux States, en effet j'ai demenage le 1er Aout pour vivre avec mon amoureux Hiram... J'espere que ca vous plaira, n'hesitez pas a laisser des commentaires ;)

Notre belle histoire d'amour depuis le debut en images...

We met each other at ASD (American School for the Deaf) last October 23d 2006 through French Exchange Program with INJS school, he was one of the advisors of the American group and I was one of the advisors of the French group... When he first saw me this day he couldn't breathe as he told me lol... When I first saw him I was like attracted to him without any reason and I wanted to get to know him better : we call that "love at first sight" , yes indeed it exists!! Anyway, we were there to work with the students at first so nothing happened, we stayed very professional (I wonder how lol) and then I came back in France last november... The trip was over and I felt so bad, something was missing and I wondered what... We kept in touch and then he decided to come to visit me in France in December for Christmas Holidays wow! I didn't know what to do but in the same time I was so excited to meet him again! When I went to pick him up at the airport our heart were melting so much and beating very strong, and we were so shy...! Then this night on December 21st, our life together started... We had wonderful Christmas Holidays together and he had to come back to the U.S.A on January 1st grrr... It was so horrible to let him leave at the airport, then I decided to visit him on a week-end, the people around me kept telling me that I was crazy but I loved him so much , I had to see him again and again... And we saw each other almost every two weeks, so we flew almost 6 round trips from France to USA!!! And now we are living together and we are scotched...!

Nous nous sommes rencontres le 23 Octobre 2006 a l'ASD (American School for the Deaf)a l'occasion de l'echange Franco-Americain avec l'INJS, il etait l'un des responsables du groupe americain, et moi une des responsables du groupe francais... Quand il m'a vu il ne pouvait plus respirer selon ses dires lol... Moi j'etais tres attiree par lui et voulais le connaitre mieux, c'est ce qu'on appelle un coup de foudre, et oui ca existe!! Mais nous etions la pour travailler avec les eleves avant tout donc rien ne pouvait se passer, nous sommes donc restes tres professionnels ( je me demande comment d'ailleurs lol) et je suis rentree en France en novembre...Le voyage avait touche a sa fin, je me sentais tellement mal, qque chose me manquait et je me demandais quoi... Nous sommes restes en contact, puis il decida de venir me rendre visite en decembre pour les vacances de Noel ouaouh! Je ne savais pas quoi faire mais en meme temps j'etais tres contente de le revoir! Quand je suis allee le chercher a l'aeroport, nos coeurs battaient tellement forts, et nous etions tellements timides...! Puis ce soir la, le 21 decembre, nos destins se sont lies... Nous avons passe d'excellentes vacances de Noel ensemble mais il devait rentrer aux States le 1er Janvier grrr... C'etait tellement horrible de le laisser partir a l'aeroport, que j'ai decide d'aller le voir deux semaines plus tard lors d'un week-end, mon entourage n'arretait pas de me dire que j'etais folle, mais je savais que je l'aimais et que je voulais absolument le revoir... Et c'est ainsi qu'on a commence a se voir presque toutes les deux semaines, nous avons fait environ 6 allers-retours entre la France et les Etats-Unis!!! Maintenant nous vivons ensemble et nous sommes scotches pour de bon...!

Et maintenant un petit bebe grandit dans mon ventre... La date de conception est le Jeudi 17 Mai 2007!

Le 20 septembre : 20 semaines et les premiers coups de pieds dans mon ventre! I was wondering for a few weeks how I would feel when my baby will kick or move in my belly, some friends told me that I would feel like gas or like a butterfly which move its wings inside our hands... But I felt nothing and I was starting to turn parano! Finally this day around 10pm I felt one kick on the left side of my belly, I couldn't believe it , it was so real! Then the baby didn't stop kicking for a while so I couldn't sleep but I was so reassured to feel it...! Je me demandais depuis qques semaines comment je sentirais mon bebe me donner des coups de pied ou bouger dans mon ventre, des amis m'avaient dit que je sentirais comme des pets ou gaz dans mon ventre, ou comme un papillon qui bouge ses ailes dans le creux de nos mains... Mais je ne sentais toujours rien et je commencais a devenir carrement parano! Enfin, ce soir la vers 22h j'ai senti un coup dans le cote gauche de mon ventre, je n'arrivais pas a y croire, c'etait tellement reel! Puis le bebe n'a apas arrete de me donner des coups de pied pendant un moment et je ne pouvais pas m'endormir, mais j'etais tellement rassuree de le sentir...!

As you can see on the pictures we live in a nice house in Torrington in Connecticut... The house has three floors, we live at the first floor with our two cats Vikou & Douchka, and two room-mates. We have two bedrooms, one big kitchen with its pantry, a dining-room and a living room with the VP room included and a big nice garden... For now the baby will sleep in our bedroom until we move to another place, let's wait and see...At the second floor we have three room-mates, all deaf of course! The rooms are very almost the same than ours... And the third floor is a kind of studio, we didn't work on it yet but it will turn to something nice...We worked hard on this house but it is very nice and peaceful to live in this house...

Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos ci-dessus, nous vivons dans une maison sympa a Torrington dans l'etat du Connecticut... La maison a trois etages, nous vivons au rez-de-chaussee avec nos deux chats Vikou & Douchka, et deux coloc'. Nous avons deux chambres, une grande cuisine avec sa buanderie, une sallea manger et un salon avec une piece pour telephone via centre-relais et un grand joli jardin... Pour l'instant le bebe dormira avec nous dans notre chambre en attendant que l'on demenage ailleurs, on verra... Au deuxieme etage nous avons trois coloc's, tous sourds bien sur! Les pieces sont pratiquement les memes que les notres... Et le troisieme etage est une sorte de studio, on n'y a pas encore fait de travaux, mais ca va etre qque chose de bien... On a fait beaucoup de travaux chez nous mais c'est tellement relaxant de vivre ici dans cette maison...

Friday, October 19th

I'm now six months pregnant and the baby moves more and more in my tummy wow! I did my second ultrasounds on Oct 5th during my short trip in France with Hiram, and of course they asked us if we wanted to know the baby's sex, we were like "Ummm no, we still want it to be a surprise huh huh!" Then the woman on the ultrasounds said everything was perfecctly normal excepted that the baby was a bit small... Strange isn't it when you guys see how tall I am right! Anyway I'll have another ultrasounds on Oct 26th to check if the baby grew up a little more than this time... I can't show you those french ultrasounds because my ob in Hartford hospital kept it to make copy of it for my file and she will give it back to me next friday...so let's have a bit of patience dear friends ;)

Vendredi 19 Octobre

Je suis maintenant enceinte de six mois et le bebe bouge de plus en plus a l'interieur de mon ventre ouaouh! J'ai fait ma 2eme echo le 5 Octobre lors de mon court sejour en France avec Hiram, et bien sur ils nous ont demande si on souhaitait connaitre le sexe du bebe, on a repondu "Humm non, on veut toujours que cela soit une surprise hihi!" Ensuite la dame nous a dit que tout etait parfaitement normal sauf que le bebe etait un peu petit... Bizarre n'est ce pas quand vous voyez a quel point je suis grande hein! Bref j'aurais une autre echo le 26 octobre pour voir si le bebe a un peu grandi... Je ne peux pas vous montrer les photos de cette echo francaise pour le moment car ma gygy de l'hopital de Hartford me les a prises pour faire des copies pour mon dossier et elle me les rendra vendredi prochain... un peu de patience chers amis ;)

Friday, November 16th :

Hi everybody! Sorry I've been away for a while but I was so busy , indeed I welcomed Mom in New-York and we stayed there for 4 days and we had a lot of fun and especially a lot of shopping of warm pregnancy clothes for until february, and also some stuffs for the baby as the stroller and the car seat, the crib and everything that is linked to it, thanks Mom and Grandma! We also went to a show called the Blue Man Group where we laughed hard, it was so fun and original! Then we came back to Torrington so Mom could see where we live and also meet Hiram's mom finally, they found a lot of common affinities as beer and smoking lol... Then we drove Mom back to JFK as the week went so fast for her and now it is our turn to visit her on Nov 21st to 25 th in Paris, oh my god I miss French food, I can't wait to eat some of it lol...

Vendredi 16 Novembre :
Coucou tout le monde! Je suis desolee, je n'ai pas ete la pendant un moment car j'etais tellement occupee avec l'accueil de Maman a New-York ou nous sommes restees pendant 4 jours, nous nous sommes bien amusees et avons surtout fait du shopping de vetements chauds de femme enceinte, de quoi tenir jusqu'en Fevrier, et aussi du materiel pour bebe comme la poussette et le siege auto, le lit et tout ce qui va avec , merci Maman et Mamie! Nous sommes aussi alles voir le spectacle The Blue Man group, c'etait tres marrant et original! Puis nous sommes rentrees a Torrington histoire que Maman voie ou nous habitons et aussi pour qu'elle rencontre enfin la mere de Hiram, elles se sont trouves beaucoup de points communs comme la biere et la cigarette lol...
Ensuite nous avons reconduit Maman a l'aeroport tellement la semaine a passe vite et maintenant c'est notre tour daller la voir a Paris du 21 au 25 Novembre, oh mon dieu la nourriture francaise me manque , j'ai hate d'en manger lol...

Finally 7 months pregnant on Nov 15th!

There is nothing to say, I'm still having a wonderful pregnancy apart that the baby really shows me that he or she is here by moving hard moreover when I'm sleeping lol...

Enfin enceinte de 7 mois ce 15 Novembre!!

Il n'y a rien a dire, je vis toujours une grossesse de reve a part que le bebe me montre qu'il ou elle est vraiment la en bougeant vraiment beaucoup surtout quand je dors lol...

Thursday, December 13th :

Hi everyone, hope everything is ok with all of you! I'm doing great with my love Hiram on the soon to be Holidays... we are very busy finishing the several works in our home, wrapping the gifts, planning what we are gonna do and eat with our families during Christmas day... and also taking childbirth classes, it is so fun!!! Today I'm 32 weeks , 8 weeks left to go or more or less... it depends on the little devil in my tummy who kick harder and harder...! Next I'll show you picutres of some events we had those last days, a lot of fun...

Jeudi 13 Decembre :

Coucou tout le monde, j'espere que tout va bien pour vous! Moi je vais tres bien a l'approche des vacances de Noel avec mon amour Hiram... nous sommes assez debordes a finir les petits travaux dans notre maison, emballer les cadeaux, prevoir ce que nous allons faire et manger avec nos familles respectives le jour de Noel chez nous... et aussi avec nos classes sur l'accouchement, qui sont tres amusantes d'ailleurs!!! Aujourd'hui, j'en suis a 32 semaines, plus que 8 semaines a attendre ou plus ou moins... cela dependra du petit diable dans mon ventre qui donne des coups de plus en plus forts...! Ci-dessous je vous montre des photos de ce que nous avons faits ces derniers temps, bcp d'amusement en tout cas...

Friday, January 11th...

Yay!! I'm 36 weeks pregnant and 27 days left to go, I can't wait, I can't wait!! I was busy those last days welcoming Mom and Jack for Christmas , we spent three days in the Big Apple, and then Naomi on Dec, 29th , she stayed with us for New Year Eve we celebrated with Roberta and family, we had really nice holidays... and then we set up everything ready to welcome our soon coming baby... I'll have my baby shower next week yeepee !! Can't wait...!

Vendredi 11 Janvier...

Ouais!! Je suis maintenant enceinte de 36 semaines, plus que 27 jours d'attente, j'ai hate, j'ai hate!! J'ai ete tres occupee ces derniers temps a acceuillir ma mere et Jacques pour Noel, nous avons passe trois jours dans la Grosse Pomme puis nous avons acceuilli Naomi le 29 Decembre, elle est restee avec nous pour le Jour de l'An que nous avons passe avec Roberta et sa petite famille, nous avons passe d'excellentes vacances... et ensuite nous avons tout mis en place pour l'acceuil proeminent de bebe... et je vais avoir ma baby shower la semaine prochaine youpi!! J'ai hate...!!
